Celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month - "America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion"

In today's episode, Teresa talks with Tova Sherman, author, speaker, and CEO of Reachability, about the 18 Inclusion-isms You Need to Know. October marks the start of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. In honor of this year’s theme “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion” we’re dedicating a two-part series to stress the importance of ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to employment as our nation begins to recover from the devastating impacts of COVID-19 on our country’s workforce.

Teresa and Tova dispel some of the more common myths about inclusion in the workplace for those with disabilities. Tova explains 2 of her 18 Inclusion-isms; 'Education Osmosis' and 'Everyone had/has a disability.'
