Professor Loretta Feris is a Deputy Vice-Chancellor at UCT for transformation and a law professor specializing in resources law, pollution law, and international environmental law. She holds numerous degrees, such as an LLB from Stellenbosch University and an LLM from Georgetown University. The professor is a member of numerous organizations, most notably a Law Commissioner of the World Conservation Union and a member of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law.
