Purpose: To challenge people to control their tongues.

1. The preeminence of the tongue (3:1-2).
2. The power of the tongue (3:3-5a).
3. The perversity of the tongue (3:5b-6).
4. The production of the tongue (3:7-12). Friends, when we are tongue tested, will we be tongue tied? Our tongues are the most offensive weapon in our arsenals and must be controlled very carefully. We can only do that by the power of Christ operating in our lives, asking Him to help us do it.
