Jesus is inaugurating Himself as King. The Crowds are mixed, some rejoice and celebrate, some confused, and others resistant and reject Him. Who do you say Jesus is? What the sermon covers is the character of Christ in His humility, His compassion in coming to us, and His Divine Kingship in saving us not from temporary hardships to momentary comforts, but to an everlasting salvation and peace with God. The Hope is that all will see Jesus for who He truly is and worship Him as King of kings and LORD of lords.
