Today's sermon will be an exposition of 2 Timothy 3:1-17 and a testimony of the persecuted church in India. In 2 Timothy 3:1-17, Paul says that believers will be led astray by the love of self and the love of pleasure. The Evil One seeks to creep into our lives and tempt us to live for ourselves becuase it will empty us of spiritual power. He desires that we are Christians "having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power." Believers need to see the value of suffering for the gospel and put on the shoes of readiness in the gospel. If we can see the worth of Christ in suffering, we can transform spiritual attack into spiritual blessing
