Last week we looked intently at how LOW he came- how SMALL he came. Today we look at how mind-blowingly immense Christ actually is- and it will give depth and truth to the incarnation. We’ll look at it through Colossian 1- where Paul is bringing back the minds of a group of people who have been led astray by the philosophy of a cult. When the Colossians understand the preeminence of Christ- they will- Paul hopes- come to worship him instead of looking for meaning elsewhere. Jesus is the anchor and glory of all creation- this means that he should be unrivaled in our lives as well
