David Riffel is a partner at Alloy Architecture. It started as Howard and Hilmer Architecture and Dave has been there since the 80s. 

Dave also wrote the book Mentoring Warriors which includes a workbook that encompasses developing mentoring skills and following the Lord through mentorship. 

Dave had open heart surgery about 7 years ago. He says that if you ever have the chance to meet Jesus for the first time it really opens your heart and causes you to think of "Why am I here?" And he compares that actual open heart surgery to meeting Jesus. This experience spurred him on to write his book and form his non-profit Mentoring Warriors.
