Worry is something almost all of us experience, but Jesus offers a direct and practical path out of it. In Matthew 6, He does not simply say to stop feeling anxious. He calls us to stop living in a permanent state of anxious preoccupation. The root of anxiety is not our circumstances but misplaced trust. When we place our security in money, possessions, or our own ability to manage life, we are trusting things that were never designed to carry that weight. God, who created life itself and feeds the birds of the air, is more than capable of caring for His children. Worry demands everything from us while adding nothing. The path forward is drawing close to God, remembering His character, and practicing daily trust in Him.
