My conversation this week is with Zhazha Zhao. Zhazha is currently pursuing a PhD in Area Studies (China) at the University of Oxford. Previously, she's taken up a postgraduate role in the Political Economy of Emerging Markets at King’s College London. She has a BA with majors in International Relations & Political Economy from Tulane University. Her research areas include Development Studies, Development economics, Culture and media, as well as Decolonisation.

As a part of “Seeking Your Passion” series, in this episode, we talk about her academic and internship experiences and the most valuable lessons she has learnt from Nihilism as well as what makes her so passionate about getting involved in applying a decolonial perspective to her research and life.
