what's the perfect amount of time between albums. If you open up twitter nowadays, Most likely you'll see a viral tweet saying something like when is Kendrick dropping or where is frank ocean because they haven't dropped in a long time? I think there's a separate conversation to be had about whether or not they owe their fan bases anything But getting back on topic. I think the perfect length between albums is 2-3 years as much as I love Griselda dropping like five times a year. I think it's important for artists to space out their content so that audiences have time to digest and sit with their work before moving on to the next one. On the flip side. There are only a few artists that can wait 567 years and not kill the height for their new albums. Those artists are like the a listers like frank ocean Kendrick, Lamar jay Z. Now I came up with an interesting case study here. I don't think it's 100% spot on but I do think it serves its purpose and I think it brings up some interesting ideas. So you look at two changes recent albums in 2017, he dropped pretty girls like trap music, that's fire great project Rapper go to the league in 2019. So two years later. Also really good. Not as good but still good. Then in the next two years from 2020 to 2022 he drops three projects in the same amount of time that he just dropped to and I think you really see a decrease in quality when he speeds up his artistry and makes more albums and less amount of time. So what do you guys think is the perfect length between albums?
