Alright. So is it just me or is dating right now? A bigger struggle and challenge than ever before. Yes, you're listening. Okay great. Let's talk about it. Welcome back to black boy lessons with cam. Alright y'all. So I live in L. A. I moved here a couple months before the pandemic from new york city. So I get asked the question all the time, which city do I prefer to date in new york or L. A. And my response is new york y'all. I had so much fun when I was dating in new york. I was living my best black gay life all up and down the new york streets from Brooklyn to queens to Manhattan to Staten Island. I was having a good time. I feel like new york just offered a different way of life. I feel like the people just moved and and navigated dating just differently. People were a lot more grounded. They care a lot more about getting to know you. They were a lot more creative and clever when it came to coming up with date ideas and I just think that that kind of warranted just much deeper connections than I feel like I have experienced out here in L. A. And it doesn't matter how many times someone out here in L. A. Tries to convince you. They do not care about what you do who you are or how many figures you have for whatever reason people just do and I do not understand it. People also just don't really think outside of the box and I feel like people want to do a lot of the same here in L. A. And Iceland. Get it, But this is just another lesson of a black boy.
