Bryce Casey is one of the most well-known broadcasters in the country having been with the Rock for over two decades, most notably on the Morning Rumble, and in 2020 was named the recipient of the Sir Paul Holmes award which essentially is the radio broadcaster of the year.
Bryce talks about his love for his job, his family, his love for his mates and family, how grateful he is and how he’s writing a book.
But he also discusses losing friends and whanau to suicide, and how his experiences with that have shaped his life and job.
On that note, massive trigger warning, we spend a good amount of time talking about it so if that is something that upsets you or someone you know, please, please, please seek help. There are plenty of amazing networks and programmes out there who can help ya out.
Also, there’s a fair bit of swearing in this, so if you have kids around, be aware.
