On this episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast, Ann-Louise Holland talks about what’s going on in the stars in September 2022. It’s a game of two halves in a really incredible month, the first is a dance off between Mercury and Mars which will be quite an exciting start to the month. The second half has plenty of action in Libra which will be good for relationships and wealth.

- The first week in September, Mars has just recently come into Gemini and it’s made a square with the new Moon in Virgo at the end of August. It’s already quite feisty and he’ll stay in Gemini for the next 7 months. Mars is slightly crazy and unbounded against Virgo’s very precise and careful so this means things will happen. Together with Mercury it will be quite fun, but things could get a bit too outrageous.
- Mars will enter the shadow zone of its retrograde and 8 degrees on the 3rd September. Whenever a planet enters its shadow zone you have to become aware of what’s going on around you, within those themes, that is going to take a bit of a journey at some point. Mars is going to connect with Gemini’s shadow twin which is the side Gemini likes to hide and gloss over: a lie could go the wrong way and turn sinister.
- On 10 September, Mercury starts to retrograde in Libra but it’s also retrograding from the 8 degree period point. Both are starting their retrograde action at the same point, they’re somehow twinned. Any planets at 8 degrees – or 7 or 9 as well – are really going to get dragged into this debacle. We’re really going to have to reconsider and re-look at some of the things around that. Things will fall into your lap that you will have to give extra thought to during this period.
- Libra is about relationships, maybe we’ll need to reconsider a past relationship. Maybe someone – a past love – walks in (not physically, perhaps) and maybe there comes a wave of emotion knowing about that. Or, someone who has all their traits (who you need to heal from) comes along, there’s a huge opportunity for healing in this which maybe won’t be as painful this time round, it’s an opportunity for to respond differently, not get triggered and see how this person is operating so you can look at how you operated and can learn and heal from it. There will also be money-making opportunities too.
