A poem about infusing gin with foraged fruit, the colour like a scene from Dante's Inferno.

"Infusion"

The sealed jar gleams with alchemical lustre.

A loose ziggurat of blackberries tumble drunkenly inside.

Clear liquid that can surge the mind or ignite from a spark.

Swirling hues of change turn sugar crystals to tipsy gemstones.
