Jesus asked us to love God with our whole heart and to demonstrate it by loving others well. He also gave us a diagnostic to help determine how we’re doing with that. By examining how we’re storing and spending our most treasured resources, we can understand where our hearts truly are and how to bring them into alignment with Him.

1 Peter 4:10 (NET)Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Entrusted talents are for others and from God.

1 Peter 4:11 (NET)Whoever speaks, let it be with God’s words. Whoever serves, do so with the strength that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
