Just like anything else we must define and understand faith in order to integrate it into our lives. Faith has 5 definitions from the dictionary and scripture to help us wrap our head around it.

Faith by definition is...

1) Allegiance to duty (commitment and responsibility).

2) Fidelity of promises (integrity and character).

3) Sincere intentions (sincere effort).

4) Assurance of things hoped for (hope).

5) Conviction of the unseen (we are in a spiritual battle for our souls and the flesh of Christ was crucified and resurrected so we could be offered eternal life).

Faith more plainly put is this...

1) An immovable stake has been placed in the ground that you hedge your bets on saying Christ is the risen Messiah and "The Great I Am" in flesh and all authority on heaven and earth has been given to Him and I want Him to be the Lord and Savior of my life and I am willing to die over that stake in the ground just as He did for me.
