Welcome to Episode 45 of In Her Wallet Podcast! Today we’re talking about math anxiety and how it can affect your personal finances. Data shows that 93% of Americans have math anxiety, however women are disproportionately affected by it. Turns out parents talk differently to boys and girls about money, which is responsible for shaping habits and expectations that can last a lifetime. Math anxiety is just a feeling of nervousness though, and in reality, you don’t have to have an MBA in Finance to be financially successful.

In this episode, our host Sofiia is joined by Michelle Robertson, a.k.a Ms. Money and Math. They discuss what math anxiety is, how it shows up in everyday life, the ways to fight it, and how we can raise a more confident generation of women going forward!
