Alongside these real people and places, we find them showcasing the real things people always get caught up in. Abuse of alcohol, abuse of power, and ultimately being abused by their own pride.
Pride is a self-deceptive view of ourselves and others.
Alcohol isn't a sin, but it rarely leads to good decisions.
The answer to pride is love, and the enemy of love is pride.
