We as people are enamored with ideas. We hear a sales pitch or see how a product will solve all our problems, how it will usher in a new era of convenience. We become entranced like a dog who only sees the bone. Then we see the price tag or what we will have to go through to get it and abruptly, we snap out of the spell only to realize that we love the idea but not enough to invest in it (Peter - Matthew 14:22-33).
