The Koh-i-Noor is one of the largest cut diamonds in the world. It is part of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom and is currently in the Crown of the Queen Mother. It has a bloody history and is said to curse human men. For Indians it is a symbol of imperial conquest and British colonial plundering. The Indians want it back. Post-Brexit Britain needs friends and trade deals. Will Indian request for the diamond's return become so compelling that the UK can no longer ignore them?
