Luxury doesn't necessarily involve a Birkin bag, a fancy car and a fly penthouse. Luxury in this day and age involves how much of yourself you want to put out in a world full of technology and easily accessible information. We have the power to decide how much of us we want others to know when it comes to our energy and presence. Because once it's out, there is no going back. At the Glow Up Table, we can all agree that ghosting in dating absolutely SUCKS! Ghosting is heartbreaking, ego-shattering, maddening, ego-shattering, insecurity-igniting and wtf-is-wrong-with-me, and straight up embarrassing. For episode 8, I will talk about my experience with being ghosted in relationships and how it can affect how it negatively impacts women. Feel free to share your experiences with ghosting and what you did to overcome such an emotional hurdle. Make sure to follow The Glow Up Table on Instagram!

For the second episode of The Glow Up Table, I had the honor of chatting with my girl Chrissy via IG live for her takeover on Kar Skelton's Instagram page for her Takeover Tuesday segment. Chrissy runs Lil Rascalz Shop located inside Bamboo Ballroom here in Edmonton, AB.

With the current state of our world, racism is the number one virus that affects not just Black men, women, and children, but also Indigenous and people of color. Chrissy and I sat down to have an honest conversation about racism, our experiences with racism as well as being two Black women. It was Malcolm X that said that the most disrespected, unprotected and neglected person in America is the Black woman. That quote rings true worldwide and we need our allies more than ever. You might want to sit down for this episode for Chrissy and I aren't holding back.

Please continue to amplify Black voices in your community. Check out the following handles below to familiarize yourself with Black voices in the Edmonton community.
