And we're back for season 2!! Family, this has been a wild, unforgettable journey. During a virtual bible study, Amanda had asked to be on the podcast, not knowing I had been praying for my next steps. Immediately, I said yes and we were recording a few days later. Amanda's energy is contagious and you can hear the excitement in my voice because of it. This episode is definitely a "rollercoaster ride" and I cannot wait for you to hear it! If I had to describe this episode in one word, it would be "random." While driving home from work, I got the urge to call Faith and ask her to be on a podcast episode. She agree and 20 minutes later, we were recording an episode. What you hear next is the result of that phone call.

Like many people, a lot of my self-reflection and deep thinking happens at night. So, join me on this wild ride as I process being in a low moment and try to find hope along the way. Family, as 2020 comes to an end, I pray you find peace in the midst of your storms. I pray you are able to find your "enough" and that you remember you are loved, you matter and you are not alone.

Family, I missed you all. Life has been crazy with balancing the stressors of work, covid, and life in general. But, I'm back and I hope you can enjoy the convo between me and my good friend Breanna.

Storms will constantly rage and seasons will forever change but God remains the same. I pray you are able to find peace in the midst of your storms and fully embrace the shift because there are 27 days left until 2020 ends and He is still moving.

I did refer to a sermon by Mike Todd and if you are interested the link is below:

“I’m going to make your proud one day”- letter to myself

Adjective

feeling deep pleasure or satisfaction as a result of one’s own achievements, qualities, or possessions or those of someone with whom one is closely associated.

Somewhere along our journey, we began to believe the lie that success equals pride.  To be successful, we have to have a high paying job, amazing marriage, and flashy lifestyle. In our quest for success, we lose sight of ourselves and our identity.

We allow "culture" to dictate how we are supposed to act and look towards others for approval.

How much would our lives change if we put ourselves first?

Challenge yourself to break out of the box the world tries to tame you in and find out who you are!

You matter!

You are loved!

You are enough!

The challenge is learning to quiet the voice when it tries to spew negativity.

How do you defeat an enemy that knows everything about you? You Train!

You lace up your sneakers, tie up your hair, and get ready to sweat. Because the hardest hit is the one you don't see coming!

Tell your story, change a life and remember you matter!
