Engracia is an entrepreneur who has taken the insurance industry by storm. As a Columbian immigrant, she has provided insurance help to an ever growing market of Spanish speaking Medicare patients. On YouTube you can find her channel full of informative videos to clear up confusing jargon for her clients; with the heart of a teacher, it's no wonder clients flock to Avila Medicare Solutions.
As a young woman, Engracia was a teacher both in Columbia and the United States. She moved to the United States to find a better life, and after a few twists and turns, met our good friend Tony Merwin. They were shortly married and building their life together, but when they attended Cody Askin's 8% Nation conference, a hunger to build her Strong Lyfe on her terms developed.
Just under a year later, Grace is enjoying the process and growing herself and her business each day. We are honored to have here sit with us and share her wisdom. As Allie puts so eloquently this week, she really is giving us a gift by telling us her story.

He was able to overcome hardship and build a successful business at a young age, and now works to help people achieve their Strong Lyfe. Similar to Strong Family, Pete helps insurance agents get started and build their skills and network.
Between the two of them, Allie and Peter have helped more people reach their financial goals than a even a financial advisor could hope for. It's almost as if the two of them enjoy giving more than receiving.

This week we have Mr. Karl Hoover on the show. Karl is the Senior Vice President of Financial Independence Group (FIG).
As we sat down with our guest, he shared his background of humble beginnings and growing up with a Dad in the navy. His upbringing and relationship with his father helped shape him in a great way! After going to Appalachian State University for business, he ended up going to work for his Dad where he cut his teeth in the insurance industry. He had some success but soon enough he found his back up against the wall due to some setbacks he brought on himself. He shares about those struggles and how they led to the Strong Lyfe he is living today.
Karl became the 12th employee to go to work for FIG. Today, FIG has grown to over 200 employees, 4 locations, and is having massive success in the insurance industry. Our company Strong Family Financial does business with Karl and FIG so we are biased but it's for a good reason. As you get into the show, Allie and Karl share about that professional relationship and how it has impacted both sides.
Karl has taken his personal development seriously along with his relationship with God. Karl had strong mentoring from his father and believers that hard work and his personal relationship with God has brought him to where he is today. His family is his priority and keeps him quite busy with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters.
We are so excited to share this episode with you! Karl gets a little nostalgic talking about the early days. Everybody likes a good story or two. We are grateful for your tuning in!

We have an extremely special guest on the show for this episode of the Strong LYFE Podcast, Mr. Jason Ford. We’ve had his wife Ginger Ford on the show before, Episode 35. Together they own and operate Pioneer Financial Group!
This is an intriguing episode because Jason Ford and Jamie Strong (Founder of Strong Family Financial) have history because the 2 men worked together starting out in the insurance business at Bankers Life.
They cut their teeth in the insurance business together! Now they both run outstanding insurance agencies in the industry!
Jason was born in Magnolia, Arkansas. He met his wife in college. Shortly after that, they got married and had a baby!
Before Jason was in the insurance business he had ambitions to change the world by becoming an attorney and doing so by writing law & legislation! After working for people like Al Gore and the Clintons but then going through the Monica Lewinsky scandal, he had an aha moment and decided he could go about changing the world a different way!
After that, he discovered the opportunity to sell insurance. He loves what he does and is running a quite successful agency licensed to serve clients in over 30 states today.
Today, Jason is on what he calls a “life long journey of personal growth and self development!”
He shares his story of how relationships helped him unlock his potential and how his mission for personal development has changed his life.
There is so much to glean from this episode and we know you will.

David is our guest this week on the show who happens to be into home building and financing homes. He grew up with his Dad in that business. He went to college for that business at Auburn University. He worked in the industry for year but when 2008 hit, things changed!
He found himself a part of the Strong Family working in the Insurance industry.
He provided a Strong living and helped open new branches of our office! After many successful years of helping the business grow, David felt it was time to get closer to where most of his family was back in Georgia where he grew up.
David shares stories of mistakes and lessons learned from these decisions.
There is a humility to be gleaned from his speech.
As a businessman, he believes building relationships with people is a why in his life. Living with purpose to invest in his relationships with his family, friends, church and community is what causes him to live a Strong LYFE.
The conversation is wonderful but what’s greater are the things unsaid about this lesson of Building Relationship as you will hear as you listen through the episode.

Hey Strong Lyfe listeners! Thanks for tuning in for another episode of the show! This week we have a long time friend of Allie's and Strong Family so she is a friend of the show!
Our guest this week is Tracie Surles. Tracie is a Mother of 3, entrepreneur, wife, and a straight up overcomer.
In this episode, Tracie shares what it was like to be placed in a privately ran group home for kids when she was 12 years old. During that part of the conversation, she shares about some of those struggles and lessons she took away from that time in her life.
Before she started Clean Freaks, ( her first business that is still going today...by the way, if you're in OK , I'm sure they would be happy if you had them clean your house!)
She found that "quality of life" is what her why was in life and if she was going to get that, she was going to have to move forward and not allow anything to hold her back. She says, She found herself below broke!" Many of us have been there! She purposed in her heart she would do whatever it took so she wouldn't have to depend on help to stand in line for groceries forever.
She did what she called a 911 prayer to God. The next thing she knew, several good things happened that she had been praying about but you will have to listen to the show to find out the rest of the story!

This episode references hiring agents, recruiting, the loss ratio of premiums compared to claims paid out, how that might affect agents if at all.
Tony's wife just went through the licensing process and this is relative because she speaks Spanish.
Tony shares with us that experience and what folks in the industry might need to be aware of as they go about their business from the beginning of the testing process to be licensed all the way to sales materials and referrals.

Welcome to another episode the Strong LYFE YouTube show!
We have a unique episode for you this week. Today we have a very tenured dairy farmer as our guest named Mr. Charles Coblentz.
During this episode we have Charles share what a day in the life is like and how the economy and politics have affected his farm and other farmers like his self. Many city folks do not have any context of what a farmer does so we get into some of that however, it isn't so detailed you will get lost but it contains enough good information the episode will at least teach you something about farming if you didn't know already.
Charles shares with us his why in life is his children and the generations after him. He has worked hard and done very well for his self and really doesn't need to work anymore. So why does he work so hard. Charles says it's because he is driven to give to his children and his children's children what he didn't have since he grew up poor.

As he shares, his passion shines through. But you will notice the passion isn't really about mattresses themselves but about the people he and his team get to serve by helping them sleep better. He has been able to take something as dull as a mattress and figure out how to live a life of purpose and passion. He does this by creating jobs in the community, provide a living for families, help people during times of transitions such as marriage, losing a loved one or helping someone with a disease like arthritis live a higher quality life after finding the right mattress.
We cover, a lot and but this is a great show. We know you will enjoy Elliott's story.

This week we have 2 special guests, Mr. Perry Jones III & Whitney Wehmeyer. This dynamic duo started as friends, evolved into business partners and now, a romantic relationship. They are the definition of a couple being complementary to one another. Together they own multiple businesses. One of them being THC2, Tulsa Higher Care Clinic. Before they became entrepreneurs, Whitney was a paralegal for 12 years and a graduate of Tulsa University.
Perry is from Las Vegas but graduated from Glenpool and spent some time in New Orleans gaining tons of life and management experience and then got into real estate. They shared a common why. The jobs they were working in did not allow the flexibility they were looking for so instead of working for someone else, being told when and when not to take time off for family and important events, they created their own opportunity and opportunity for others now.
They were the 1st Cannabis business in Oklahoma. (Not a dispensary) They share a passion for people but more specifically, educating & connecting people. They share a multitude of lessons learned from both mistakes & successes they’ve experienced along the way. There is Purpose in your Pain feat Emeka Nnaka - Ep 33 - Feb 11, 2020
We have a super special guest for you this week! The Amazing Emeka Nnaka is on the show with us today.
If you don't know who Emeka is you have probably never seen The Ellen Show!
Emeka is a beloved Tulsan now, originally hailing from Georgia. He moved here to attend ORU. Not long after that, he had an opportunity to play semi-pro football and after a short 3 weeks into that opportunity, he tackled someone was his injury left him paralyzed in need of a wheelchair. His story doesn't end there.
After a lot of soulsearching and hard work put in, he obtained his master's degree in counseling. One day he was asked to come help serve some teenagers in a local church's youth center. Kids being kids, asking anything, they asked him about his story. The more he shared his story the more he found there was purpose in his pain.
Now he uses his story, life experience, passion and the education he received to motivate, inspire and serve others!
After things were going okay for a while, he got into a wreck, lost his van, his place or residence was lost due to a fire, and his caregiver got injured all at once basically. But instead of that getting him down, he remembered the original injury didn't take him out so this couldn't either.
The nest thing he knew, he found himself on the Ellen show because over 50 people from the Tulsa community had written in. He shares soo much more of his story in this episode so we will leave it at that but it isn't just a story, it's real help.
This episode will serve you for the rest of your life. It's one of those things you listen too over and over no matter what season you're in because the value of the wisdom, the depth of his speech will resonate with you for sure.

Aaron is originally from Wisconsin but moved to Tulsa years ago now Tulsa is where he and his beautiful wife and children call home. He is a Tulsa University Grad, he studied Business Management and currently He is pursuing a Masters's degree in Leadership with ORU and is a Certified Exec Coach.

As some of you know, Coach Allan Trimble. The Jenks football legend and incredible man of God passed a few days ago. In Honor of Coach Allan Trimble's Life, we wanted to re-release the episode we originally shared back in July with you in his memory.
This was one of Coach Trimble's last interviews and he knew it. His words carry weight. He spoke with intention and purpose, leaving us with a message he wanted to make sure we heard before he wasn't around to tell us in person.

Amy was unwilling to accept that diagnosis so she decided to do whatever was required to be around and be healthy for her child's future. She started exploring holistic methods to heal yourself After getting down to 110 lbs, eliminating all 10 medications, she is now a Certified wellness and cannabis coach. She uses the knowledge from her certifications and experience from her journey to help people achieve optimum wellness.
There is a lot of relationship advice talk throughout this episode as well as helpful wellness education you won't want to miss whether you are as knowledgeable as they come or ignorant like the rest of us.

Glen met his wife while she was living in Massachusetts. They now have 3 children. Before they had kids, they use to foster children during a time they didn't think they were going to have any of their own. Their story is encouraging.

We have Mr. Justin Dunham, owner, operator, and chief instructor of Jenks Martial Arts Academy on the show. He went to work for a local Martial Arts business and after working as an instructor the next 2 years, the opportunity to acquire the business was presented to him he was able to strike a deal.
He has used his failures and disappointment in life as motivation to be his best self but not for just for himself, but to be able give his best self to the people important to him in his life.
You will want to be better for yourself, and those you care about after listening to this episode. You won't just be inspired, you will have gained practical tools to help you make strides in your personal development.

This week, on episode 23 of the #StrongLYFE Podcast, Sheila Lee joins us! Sheila is an Oklahoma native who grew up in Wagoner, OK. Adopted as a baby, by her wonderful parents, along with another child, her new brother. Sheila graduated from NSU and started teaching in Oklahoma schools. After a short marriage and time as a teacher, she decided to relocate to Dallas and start a new life and career. There, she met the love of her life, Shawn Lee. They had 2 beautiful girls together. Today Sheila works with Chinoth and Cohen Tulsa and is a successful realtor. ( If you need a realtor, we're sure she would be happy to help you, her info is below )
Through this recording, you will fall in love with Sheila and the light she is. You're going to hear a lot of her story and unfortunately, parts of it will have you upset, ready to hit the steering wheel because of what you're hearing as you drive down the road.
However, as you continue to listen, you're going to find all Sheila's communication is positive, strong, peaceful and happy. just like she is so despite any heartbreak, you are going to be glued to every word. We can all learn from her example so listen closely because through all the adversity & difficulty she's experienced, she stands tall today stronger than ever.

This week on Episode 21, we sit down with Brian Philpott, Founder of Signature Pools. Brian is married with 3 daughters and has 2 dogs! He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Landscape Architecture.
After school, he lived the “cubicle life” for a while and realized that wasn’t what he wanted to do so he got out into the field. He worked as an employee of another landscaping business for a while, then, after a few years, he started his own landscaping business! You should see some of his work! It is beautiful! (Link is below) Both Jamie and Allie have had multiple pools designed and put in by Brian and his company.
Brian is a normal guy like the rest of us who let his fear motivate him instead of paralyzing him.

Ep 19 is a Fun one! We have Trevor Furlong, Attorney in Oklahoma, Family man, OU Law School Graduate, Michigan raised, served in the Navy, intelligent and a pretty cool guy as you will find out as you listen in on this episode!

This week on episode 16, we have a special guest & episode for you. We Have Kirby Dietzel on the show who is in the running for “Teacher of the Year in Oklahoma.”
She teaches 5th grade currently and specializes in math and science. She once had dreams of being a meteorologist. However, she exhibited self-awareness and after some reflection on her strengths and the influence she hoped to have some day, she decided to become a teacher.
On our show, we always talk about living in your purpose and living a strong Lyfe but this episode we approach things differently. As we sat with Kirbey, obviously we talked about her , her career, why she got into teaching, her purpose as we usually do with our guest but, we also talked about community, schools, teachers and got her perspective of how we can help the students in our schools live a stronger Lyfe by supporting the school system privately. We are responsible for raising up the next generation and that’s why this talk was so important. The convo left us thinking about aspects of the school system we didn’t normally think about so hopefully after hearing the conversation, you might feel inspired like we did. Mrs. Dietzel has winning energy and seems to be a game changer. In a climate where the frustration is growing stronger with our school systems, hearing Mrs. Dietzel share her heart and hope with us, we walked away feeling hopeful too.
We don’t want to just selfishly live a strong Lyfe but we want to help young people grow up to live out a Strong Lyfe also.
Kirby is inspiring, well spoken and the kind of teacher we all hope to have teaching our children. She is a shining example to teachers and all of us.

Episode 15 - August 27th, 2019
This week's edition of the Strong LYFE Podcast, we had guest, Coach and NFL Official, Clay Martin.
Clay is well known and respected in the Jenks, OK community. Currently, he is the Basketball Coach there but has acted in other positions such as principle for example. He married his high school sweetheart and has been married to her for 21 years now. They have 2 children. He has been officiating since 2013 in the NFL.
Growing up, he wanted to be a Garbage man because he was impacted by one of the guys who picked the garbage up in his neighborhood. So he thought that's what he wanted to do too. After a few years, being in sports, his coaches and teachers impacted him too so he decided with his career, he wanted to do the same for other young people. That is exactly what he has done.
In the state of Oklahoma, most know, working in the education system isn't going to make you rich, to say the least. In order to help provide a little more so their family could have the dream fulfilled of having his wife be a stay at home mother, he began to referee here and there locally. One thing led to another and now in the NFL. We get into that story on the show.

This week on episode 14 of the Strong LYFE podcast we have "friend of the show" Dr. Scott Reid. (Long time Friend to Butch). Dr Scott is a Tulsa native, graduating from Jenks, spending 1 year in Tulsa University, Completing his Doctorate at Oklahoma University OU, and having spent time in the U.S. Army in locations like Hawaii & Afghanistan.
This is an excellent conversation. We talk about a lot. Whether or not the US Army is something he would recommend to someone wanting to be a surgeon. How the idea to become a surgeon came to him and how he decided what type of surgeon he would become.
Since he has been friend with Butch a very long time, they shared some fun "Back in the day" stories!

On this weeks episode of the Strong LYFE podcast.... we have Oklahoma Lawyer, Rob Coffey Jr. Rob is a Senior Partner at Coffey, Senger & McDaniel, P.L.L.C., a law firm based in Oklahoma. He concentrates his practice in defending motor carriers, manufacturers, construction companies, NCAA coaches, insurance companies and their insureds. But he saw as simple as "Helping People". That exact thing, is what he said inspires him. He is living a Strong LYFE so maybe we can all take notice.
Born in Norman, Oklahoma, he is a lifelong Oklahoman. He has been married for twenty years to his wife Ginger and they have four children. Their family is active in their church and the community. Mr. Coffey enjoys golf, wake-boarding, scuba diving and snow skiing. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1989 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa in 1992.
Rob shares about his upbringing and where his inspiration for his path comes from. More than anything this episode is packed full of Wisdom. Our guest is a lawyer so he is a sharp communicator. Good communicators sometimes can be so good and make it look so simple and easy you can overlook the value in the words coming out of their mouth. Failure was a big part of his story through out the years but now he is on the other side of failure and has 34 years of experience in the Jeweler business. This week's episode is special. You often think life will go one way but it goes another and that's exactly how Sarah's life and this Podcast recording did. The time you will spend listening to this episode will be worth every moment. We have Sarah Hadrava on the show. She was born in Minnesota, raised in a missionary family. Her dream was to be a "career Mom" but life didn't quite go as planned.
Today, Sarah is a Morgage Lender with Guaranteed Rate and very successful. If that doesn't sound very "sexy,", we assure you, the way she communicates about her career and hearing her story might change your mind. She bumped into her field of work by accident out of a simple need for a job many years ago. After a while, she found a new "WHY" and found the strength and desire to start her own business which is where Guaranteed Rate comes in. She has now been enjoying the fruit of her labor for many years. She shares wonderful insights about family, relationships, leadership, faith, children and more. We're grateful for how open she was. If you don't get a thing from her other than getting to listen to someone be so open, vulnerable and willing to share, it will still be worth your time for that reason alone. But you will also hear about some of her struggles. She is far from a victim so as a result of her struggles, now we get to hear a few lessons life taught her. Sarah is a Champion and we could all learn from her awesome example.

Rev. Msgr. Patrick Gaalaas was born in Minneapolis, MN and ordained to the priesthood August 12, 1972, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, as well as a baccalaureate of sacred theology and master’s degree in moral & religious science from the University of Louvain in Belgium. Currently, he is pastoring St. Bernard of Clairvaux.
Father Gaalaas has been passionate about his Catholic faith since childhood. He started studying in 8th grade. At that age, kids are often changing what they want to do every other day but clearly, after fulfilling his calling for 46+ years, it proves he knew what his why truly was even back then.
Rev. Msgr. Patrick Gaalaas is dear to Allie and Butch, so it was an honor to have him be with us on the #StrongLYFE show. We can all learn from someone who has known, pursued, and been continuously fulfilling his life's purpose since adolescence.
You will not be disappointed with this episode. We are blessed to have had such a guest grace us with their presence.
He tells some of his story and journey on today's episode. Things like how he got into the priesthood and who is favorite saint is.

Chadwick James “Chad” Taber, surrounded by family and dear friends, left to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Chad fought a long, hard battle with cancer. He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on August 15, 1969, the son of Albert Floyd and Barbara Jean (Arterburn) Taber. Chad grew up in Medford, OK and graduated from Medford High School, in the class of 1987. He then went on to attend Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). Chad met Shea Oakley, the love of his life on a blind date in 1989. The two attended her high school prom together & Chad even introduced Shea to the beauty of the Catholic faith. The two were married on November 30, 1991 and they made their home in Jenks, Oklahoma. They then went on to have their five beautiful children and later two grandbabies, who were Chad’s pride and joy. Chad was not only a beloved and devoted husband, father, & grandfather, but a cherished son, brother, friend, mentor, leader, and so much more. He served his family, community, & church with his whole heart and always put others before himself. From Jenks sports to St. Bernard’s youth ministry to Strong Family Financial, Chad’s servant heart touched so many. He was seen as not only a leader & mentor to many, but truly just known as everyone’s dad.
Chad truly embodied what it means to live a Lyfe by Design. He lived a Strong LYFE. We hope you enjoy this recording we did with him back in the month of May. Maybe you will learn something from the legacy he is leaving behind.Or maybe you will be inspired by the lyfe he led. Countless people have been impacted by his example.

In this episode, we were graced with the presence of a Legend. Coach Allen Trimble came and recorded a podcast with us and it was nothing short of gold. Coach really opened up in this recording and he gives a lot of info you might not know. He shares his back story, his love story, what it was like behind the scenes of winning championships, coaching young athletes, and he more than candidly shared some of what its been like to go from a winning Coach to someone facing the battle of ALS.
Despite the opposition he has been experiencing with the illness, he is doing amazing things to make an impact on the world. Not only does he share personal details of his life you will enjoy but he knows EXACTLY what his Why in life is now, where his value in life comes from, and as he shares, the words come out powerfully. As you hear him speak, you can clearly hear he was a champion, he is a champion and he will always be a champion along with investing in others and help make them champions.
This episode is filled with greatness. You will be inspired, challenged, and motivated to be better after hearing this.

This episode, we sit down with Jay Csipkes. Jay works as Regional Sales Executive of Royal Neighbors of America (RNA). He has been with them for 7 years now. Prior to that, Jay ran his own agency. At that time, he had around 25 agents selling senior based products under him, back in 2002.
He gained valuable experience and perspective during that time in his life. His learning included things like, how to balance running a company, a family and a gained clarity on what he really wanted in life (his why). He realized his why was his Family, and to teach his children to be successful adults who contribute to society so he started molding his life accordingly.
When Jay first came across RNA, he knew it had untapped potential and felt he could be help them take their business higher. So the last 7 years, he has helped build products & exposure for their company & has been instrumental in helping grow the business.
Now he has figured out how to balance life, family, and business all the while having to travel for work and having a scheduled filled with important things like his kids soccer, hockey and swim meets...

Jamie Strong is Married with 6 kids. He started Strong Family Financial back in 2005. Strong Family is now one of the largest senior needs organization in Oklahoma. The business is now in IL, NC, and has 2 offices in OK. He also has a hand in the real estate business and isn’t doing too bad there either.

Working Towards a Strong Lyfe while Living with Cystic Fibrosis

The first 30 minutes or so of the show, we find out who Brian is. Then Brian shares some education for us to know more about CF and what it's like living with it.
After about a Half hour, Brian candidly opens up about his struggles not only physicaly but how CF has affected his mindset, and the struggles he has put his self through due to having the wrong mindset at times. He opens up about using alcohol as an escapism and even became suicidal when things seemed dark and lonely.
But it doesn't end dark, he shares some stories that helped turn his thinking around and the things he started doing to live a Strong LYFE.
