Ambulance Victoria are asking people in the GV to sign up to the Good Samaritan App to assist emergency services when a person falls into cardiac arrest.
As the ambulance is on its way the first minutes are critical to keeping someone alive.
The app alerts those close by who have signed up to the app that a person close by is suffering cardiac arrest and alerts them to their location so they can assist with CPR until the paramedics arrive.
With 12,500 subscribed Ambulance Victoria are conducting a campaign to sign up a further 5000 during February.

Police have been very busy catching offenders all around the Kialla, Mooroopna, Shepparton area over the last week.
In Kialla there were multiple car break-ins and one car stolen on Saturday morning.
These offenders were ages just 14 and 11...
2 offenders in their late 30's were caught in Mooroopna after a house break-in.
