One of the most famous and important prayers contained in the Bible is one we see the Hebrew people repeat over and over again throughout the Old Testament. "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one, and as for you, you shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength."
It is a powerful prayer and one with a lot of meaning packed into just a few words. The Shema, which is the Hebrew word for "listen," is the centerpiece of the last speech Moses gave to the Israelites before they went down into the promised land. After entering the promised land, the Shema became a prayer the Israelites prayed twice daily.

Joy. Sadness. Anger. Compassion. God has given each of us the capacity to feel deeply. And when we can better process our powerful emotions, we can start to understand how He will use them for His good.
Jesus wept. It’s the shortest sentence in the Bible but it reveals so much about who Jesus was. He was not aloof, or distant from the people he met. He was present. He wept. He felt…deeply. The Bible shows us many examples of Jesus’s emotions: love, compassion, righteous anger, sadness, and more. In this series, we’ll look at how Jesus processed emotions and how following His example can help us see how our own emotions can be used to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.
In church, we talk a lot about things that we run to, like pornography, sex, food, alcohol, drugs, or problems with money. What would happen if we were to start with a different question? Usually, if we ask the "why," we’ll end up at the "what" at its root. And the "what" is almost always more deeply seeded than the topic at hand. So, let’s start there today – with the why. Why resentment?
This is part one of a multi part study of Pauls letter to the Philippians. This message cover Chapter 1 Verses 1-11.
Temptation is the seductive little voice that twists what you want into what you need. It distorts your thoughts until you’re trapped—and when you’re trapped by temptation, it’s not the time to listen to yourself. Learn to put your trust in someone who knows A Way Out. God always gives us a way out.
It's not polite to point! We've all heard that and in general that serves us well but the Bible calls us to be pointers. Looking at the life of John the Baptist we discover how pointing to the right things makes all the difference.
We all have a past. We all have things that we are not proud of that tries to haunt us. The past has a tendency to revisit us in the present. In this message by Pastor Tim, he reminds us that in order to grab onto our future we have to let go of the past. Looking at the betrayal of Peter and his restoration we can discover that Jesus is seeking to restore our lives and give us a blessed future.
Drawing from Psalm 100 we discover the attitude of Thanksgiving that draws us closer to God and his blessings for our life.
The list of fears that people have is nearly unending. There's a fear for everything - from death to dogs, public speaking to peanut butter sandwiches. But one fear underscores all of the other fears, and it is one we all face. It's the fear of the unknown. In this message, Pastor Tim equips us with what we need to overcome the foundation of all fear.
What do you do when you can't be around other believers or attend church. Where do you turn to hear the voice of God. How can God speak to you right now. In this special "rainy day" sermon Pastor Tim talks about the importance of staying in the word of God and hearing his breath speak to each one of us.
Everyone knows what it's like to have bad breath. We do our best to mask it, but the fact is we can only cover it up temporarily. It's true physically, and it's true spiritually as well. In this message Pastor Tim shows us how God can transform everything in our lives, including our breath. It all comes down to a choice of what we inhale, and what we exhale on those around us. Examine the life of David as he deals with slander and dishonesty in his own life.
Breath is crucial to our existence. When it is present, it comes with hope, opportunity, and potential. We all however, deal with bad breath. No matter how many mints, how much flossing, or how many dental appointments we have bad breath still catches up to each of us. So it also is with the sin and mistakes we have made in our life. The good news is that Jesus leans into our bad breath not away from it. Discover what it is to replace bad breath with God breath.
We all want people to like us and approve of what we do, but what happens when that turns into an obsession? It becomes a disease to please and can often lead us off the path of who God created us to be.

It’s all in your head. But what if that’s a good thing?
Too often we’re prisoners to our thoughts: those voices telling us to worry, that we aren’t good enough, or that we can’t ever change our behavior. But Mastermind, a four-part series, shines a light on the strongholds that hold us down and gives us the tools we need to shatter them. Through the healing power of Christ and some practical applications, we can rewire our brain to become the person God designed us to be.

We can never finish the things we never start. Sometimes, we spend so much time thinking about how to start something that we never actually start it. In this sermon we'll look at how Moses had a few excuses when God told him to go back to Egypt and free the Israelites. But for every excuse, God will always be with us and equip us if we just step out in faith.
Fear attacks us right where our faith lives and keeps us from stepping into the plans God has for us. A message focused on the angels' visit to Mary, Fear Not assures us that God will always give us the guidance we need to reject fear.

The church is a movement. And it's still moving.

Jesus turns over the table and chairs of the money changers and those who were exploiting the house of God for profit. In this message Pastor Tim Sensabaugh takes a look at three aspects of Christs Zeal during this confrontation and how it applies to our life today.
In Jesus’ time on Earth, He wasn’t interested in token gestures. He didn’t care about outward behavior. He challenged the “religion” of the day. He smashed preconceptions. He called out haters and critics. He shook up anyone whose faith was lukewarm, and He brought hope to the broken, the lost, and those tangled in sin by showing them what true worship could be. In this series, we’ll go beyond the simple slogans of what it means to follow Christ, and open ourselves up to discover the knots in our lives that Jesus wants to undo, so that we can live an authentic faith.

Do you ever struggle with doubt? You do if you’re honest. Doubt affects the lives of many believers. The reality is that no one’s faith is ever perfect in this life. That includes you. And if your faith is not perfect, then it can grow and become stronger today than it was yesterday.
Part Three: What do we do when God seems uncooperative with us? We ask for something to be done about a situation and it doesn't seem like God is dealing with it the way we like. In this message Pastor Tim uses the life of Paul to help us learn to deal with these difficult seasons in life.
Part Two: What do we do when God seems late. Many times God will work on our behalf on His timeline not ours. During these tests of faith it is easy to become frustrated, impatient or angry. In this message Pastor Tim tackles God's timing vs. our timing though the lens of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus.
Life doesn’t always go the way we expect, and we pray to God for help and guidance. But sometimes it seems like even though we pray with faith, God doesn’t do what we've asked. We seek Him, but don’t feel His presence. We go through pain, but our cries for relief seem to go unanswered. Sometimes, our lives just don't make sense. In this three-week series, Pastor Timothy Sensabaugh takes a close look at what we can do "When God Doesn't Make Sense". Topics cover the delays and changes we sometimes experience when we surrender our lives to God's planning.
