Do you wonder, how bad does an episode have to be to become a lost episode? Weeeeeeeelllll.... this episode may answer your question. Or it may not. It doesn’t matter what I write here. No one reads it. I could just reproduce the text of a subpar episode of the radio drama The Shadow and no one would realize what evil lurks in their hearts unless they listened to the song referenced in the episode.
I won’t bury the lede - our neighbor’s dog barks and distracts Diane in this episode. It is totally unrelated to anything else that happens in this episode and once again, you don’t care because no one reads my show notes, not even Diane to whom I will give five kisses if she reads this. Note, these kisses are redeemable only by her.

Ok, so, Magenta is a completely inaccurate third word for this title, but since that is the conceit and it is eleven thirty, and no one actually reads these, I can do whatever I want. Just like a lion in winter. Or Shakespeare.
I am absolutely confident that no one reads this, so now, I am going to quote the theme song from the PBS show, Word Girl. Word up, it’s word girl. From the planet lexicon, watch out villains here she comes! AND THIS RELATES TO THE EPISODE! And so does the fact that he owes his nick name to an Applebee’s name tag missing an E.
You could win a cookie from this episode! Just listen and answer the question, and we won’t javelin through you. Really, thought, Diane asked me again, is this one worth posting? Yes. Yes they are all worth posting. If I become a succesful podcaster in some other medium, we will keep this one and it will be just as bonkers and just as delightful as always.
Still, no one reads these. No one cares. No one comments on my show notes. I beg. I plead. I request. I feel like you should be able to read these but you aren’t. Not even you. Well I guess you did read this but no, you didn’t. These bits are just bloating the internet.

Diane just said, “My head itches. I had dreams about snakes coiling me.” I decided that was as good of an episode description as any.
Is this one of our best episodes or one of our worst? Who knows! You certainly don’t because you are probably reading this before listening. Or let’s be honest not reading this at all.
Really this is just a recording of our random marriage conversations, late at night. I’m not sure that the depths we plumb are ones that should be pitted or not, but since there isn’t a b in plum, what do I know? When you’ve got what I’ve got what I’ve got............................ finishing the rest of that line and telling me what bird is related will earn you a mention in the next podcast episode but I know that absolutely no one reads these notes and it is just me braying into the void.
I am just going to say - this might be the best episode we have done on this round. I mean, alternatively, it might not be, but I think it probably is. Alas, you will have to listen to find out. And I will have to decide whether or not the sheer volume of my song references is overbearing.
We’ll be battle dancing unicorns with glitter. We answer some pointed and not so pointed questions and bookend the podcast with discussions about your listeners. I did not go on a rant about how we have sacrificed our privacy to ad tech companies but when we actually could use the ridiculous amount of data that they and the cellphone companies have collected to trace possible contagion vectors, we are unable to. But since I just did here, you can ask me questions later.

What do we talk about? Who knows! It’s not like the content of this note is going to influence your download or that you will likely read this far. Even Diane rarely reads these ridiculously long (over 600 characters and counting!) show notes, so how can I expect you to? Anyway, enjoy the show!
