BUT FRESH OFF THE PRESS...LET'S GET YOU CAUGHT UP...
DIT DIT DIT (Think old typey sound effect)

JIMBO PODCAST HEADLINE :
Elastic Plastic Band, Which Broke Up 36 Years Ago, Releases the Perfect Holiday Song for 2020

HOUSTON, TX, AUSTIN, TX and SAN ANTONIO, TX — Dec. 15, 2020 — A high school garage band that broke up 36 years ago reunited via the internet during the quarantine to record the unofficial holiday song for 2020, called “Sing A Christmas Song.”

Starting with the lyrics, “So you had a pretty bad year…” the Elastic Plastic Band’s (EPB) new single gives listeners an upbeat holiday song with a catchy chorus to enjoy after a year full of challenges.

EPB released a sing-along video for the Classic Christmas version of “Sing A Christmas Song” that is available now on YouTube: https://youtu.be/MK8vJiyZxGw.

Now for the history...

EPB re-grouped in April 2020 when the pandemic’s first wave forced city leaders in Texas to impose stay-at-home orders.

No one is exactly sure if the band broke up in the 1980s over artistic differences or because they wanted to spend more time with their girlfriends. One thing is certain: After all these years, the Elastic Plastic Band is technically eligible for induction into the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame.

For more information on “Sing A Christmas Song” and the Elastic Plastic Band, go to https://www.facebook.com/elasticplasticband.
