Here at the headquarters of the Isolationists, which is 100% our bunk-bed, we will embark on a journey into the minds of well respected homo sapiens. In other words, a wonderful excuse to talk to people we admire during times when physical human contact is... hesitant.
Sit back or jog while enjoying interviews ranging from band leaders and CEO's to stellar teens and entrepreneurs all through interviews and research done by sisters (you can't prove that we are in that bunk bed).
If one thing is clear, Lucrecia Taormina is not shy about bloodying up the set. This Argentinian born director is dominating the music video industry creating Ashnikko's "Hi It's Me" and the TikTok hit that you have definitely heard: "Stupid". Lucrecia has won the Best Pop Newcomer award at the UK Music Video Awards while only beginning her artistic journey relatively recently, but after talking to her it makes complete sense. In this weeks episode of The Isolationists, Lucrecia invites us behind the scenes of filming within the industry, creating her unpredictable work, exploring culture from London to Argentina, and of course, Isolation.

Armando Carlo IV is a multi instrumental singer producer and songwriter based in Chicago spitting out content like a COVID patient spreads germs. Currently coming out with a new EP with his band Summer Drive, Armando will cover the insecurities of music making, his curiosity behind Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and the challenges of being in two bands at once.
This episode of the Isolationist will also feature the unreleased single Good Guy, a song Armando wrote when he was a freshman in high school, and the lyrical breakdown. Aside from being a Peabody and Emmy Award winning independent documentary producer, teacher, writer and financial head of New Day Films, Jay Rosenstein was in a band in college, of which is rumored to have shared the stage with my dad! This human is a fine example of DIY gone right, unlike your attempt at DIY chia pet this isolation season.

In our first official episode of the Isolationists, our talented photographer guest Anieya Cauthen will discuss her artistic genesis, dreams of Germany, the limits of Twitter art, and of course, the complexities of photography.
As a 20 year old photographer from Chicago, Illinois and currently getting her BFA in Photography, Anieya's natural talent and experience has been creating her a breadth of work, from a few documentaries in the Cimm Music Festival, to teaching classes on camera work and composition, participating in a residency at the Anderson Ranch Art Center for Film and Photography, and several honorable mentions from scholastic arts and writing. Enjoy her isight and irresistible sense of humor while you can't help but stay isolated!
