Today’s educator is an entrepreneur, the producer of this podcast and an infectiously inspirational friend: Shaina Tantuico. Shaina’s the one who made this whole thing happen and I am deeply grateful to her.
Kendra is a French teacher by profession and it’s definitely not grammar and vocab overkill in her room. Students are using all kinds of technology and apps, there are slide shows and skits, lots of laughing and kids actually talking in. K is an interested conversationalist in the faculty room and is great at listening to anyone who needs to unload without getting drawn into a complaining session. I’m not sure how she does that.
