Doxology Bible Church is proud to present … EverStory, launching wherever you listen to podcasts on June 6th, 2022.
Everstory is a weekly, seasonal podcast featuring Christ-centered stories of hope and transformation – told by people just like you.
No chit-chat.
Just raw, powerful stories.
Stories inspire us to connect with each other in real, tangible ways. With stories, we’re better able to glorify a God who relentlessly pursues us.
**Mark 16:15 tells us to “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole of creation.”
Stories embody who we are as Christians. Without them, Paul’s letters would have never been shared. Without stories, a person with Christ in their heart might never find the courage to bring the Word to their neighbor. Without stories, the Great Commission never occurs.**
Check-in with us often as we introduce stories about the way Jesus’ radical love is moving in truly awesome ways.
Find Everstory wherever you listen to podcasts. Also, follow Doxology Bible Church on Facebook or Instagram, @doxologybible.

The body of Christ grows through loving relationships, and so the place that we can make the greatest impact is with the people that we can love right where we live every day – our homes, our neighborhoods, our schools, our work-places, our hang-outs, our play-grounds. This 7-week sermon series and group curriculum is designed to help us carry the love of Jesus into every corner of our city. You can join Jesus’ vision for our city if you will choose to LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE

No book will chronicle our tale. Our deeds will not be immortalized in a depiction through a stained-glass window. The biopic of our life may never be filmed. But when God has a beyond ordinary plan, ordinary people like us can do beyond ordinary things.
We may say we walk in the light but how do we know that we truly walk in the light we profess?
When we walk in the light, our sin is exposed. Chris explains how those who walk in the light confront that sin.
Rowland Forman speaks of the value of spending time with Jesus in devotion, prayer and reading of the Word
Stained glass windows are an ancient tradition of art designed to tell stories. Our families and workplaces are designed by God for the exact same purpose. The truth is, however, most of us experience more stain than glass. In Ephesians 5 Paul invites all of us to ask: When people look through the windows of your house or office, what picture do they see?

Urban Legends are stories that spread like wildfire, most of the time through your email inbox. The people who tell them insist that they’re true, even though there may be no evidence to back the stories up. Join us as we look at several of the Urban Legends you may have believed about issues of faith. Are all religions ultimately the same? Will following Jesus fix all your problems? Is the Bible full of errors? Do hypocrites prove Christianity isn’t true? It’s important to be well-informed so you’re able to separate fact from fiction and debunk spiritual myths when you hear them.

Have you ever lost something of great value? How hard you search for something you’ve lost says something about how much you value it, doesn’t it? Three stories Jesus told in Luke 15 about things that were Lost and Found tell us something about that. You may be surprised at what is “lost,” how much it is valued, and who the stories are really about.

Lifesigns is designed to be a facilitated conversation between you and your Creator where you ask Him that question. What if God's plan to change the world was far more simple than many of the solutions we often think about? What if it didn't have to start on a worldwide, or even national scale? What if it could start with a city? With this city? And what if God decided to start, using you?

All of us make thousands of decisions every day that range in importance from “Should I hit the snooze button?” to “Should I take that job?” “Marry this person?” “Go back to work?” And we want to honor God, but it’s not like He’s sending e-mails every day with answers to our questions.
This message was given after a difficult announcement about a situation at McKinney Church. To protect the restoration process for all involved, specific details about that situation have been edited out of the message.

As kids we learned about stories called "tall tales" that were bigger than life. Stories that had parts that were unbelievable, and were meant to be that way. Paul Bunyan could eat 50 pancakes in a minute while his blue ox looked on. Johnny Appleseed planted apple trees all over the west with a frying pan for a hat.A lot of times we look at the Bible like a collection of tall tales. They're definitely bigger than life, and have parts that seem unbelievable.

Everyone loves a good underdog story. From Cinderella to bobsled teams from Jamaica, we love to watch the "little-guy" make it big. Maybe it's not surprising that Jesus seemed to love a good underdog story too.

We're taking a look at some of the things those of us who grew up in church never knew were "weird."
Every one of us intuitively knows that things in our world are not the way they're supposed to be. God has placed within our hearts a longing for a place of peace and wholeness; a place where things are right. This is the place we were made for and the place we can one day live again - our true home.

"Happily ever after." It's the way all the best stories end. Snow White marries the prince, Cinderella goes to the ball, and the Big Bad Wolf is never heard from again. But are “happily ever afters” only for worlds with talking pigs and fairy godmothers? Is that kind of ending possible for the Story we’re living in? Well, it depends which chapter you’re in. In this message discover how Easter makes "happily ever after" possible for every one of us.
Our guest speaker Manny Fernandez challenges us to join the Lord at His work and take the Great Commission to heart.
