When Claire Hough was murdered on a beach near her grandparents' home, authorities saved all the evidence with the hope DNA would advance to a point that the case could be closed. In September 2017, Orion Krause left his home in Rockport, Maine without communicating his travel plans to his family. When he called his mother the next day informing her he was in Boston, she was happy to give him a ride home and relieved to learn he was safe.
