There are few problems today which have not been been caused or made worse by out-of-touch politicians especially but not only in Australia. The institutions of representative democracy have too often been compromised. David Flint comments.
President Trump is right. The Constitution requires that he nominate a judge to fill the vacancy with the advice and consent of the Senate. He went to the 2016 election with a list of sound und lawyers from which he would make appointments. It’s important that the vacancy be filled before the election so that the court is able to hear properly cases disputing the counting in the election.
The American alliance is the most important international relationship Australia has. Without the United States as a dominant power, the world will be a very unfriendly place. So why do theAustralian media constantly publish anti-Trump propaganda as if it were the news? The invention by Goldberg about what Trump allegedly said about the war dead is just as much a lie as the story that he praised white supremacists and neo-Nazis at Charlottesville.
Having heard the recent speech by the Prime Minister to the National Press Club, we suggest that with the Wuhan coronavirus crisis lockdown being gradually lifted, it would be timely to address the nation on some of the major problems facing the nation . It is relevant to note that all of these were either been created or made significantly worse by the politicians.
The politicians wouldn’t use world’s best practice. Deaths from the Wuhan coronavirus were 20 times what they should’ve been. The people had to suffer the lockdown, not the politicians. At least they should now restart Australia. The cure should never again be worse than the disease
Massive unemployment, business closures and near house arrests were not necessary. We could have had far fewer deaths if the politicians had not been so close to the Beijing communists.
Rather than the real issues, we have the announcement of a new luxury limousine fleet to save us money, as well as $1 billion for the mainly foreign wind farm owners on top of the massive subsidy they already receive.
Several reasons are advanced for the defeat of the referendum for the politicians’ republic. They’re all myths.
