With the (real) opening of college football today, its probably a good time to make official what was probably obvious: Razorpod is retiring from regular podcasts. It's been a good run. Most of you know we've been pretty regular during football season since about 2004. That's a pretty good standard for podcasts, much less one run by four mostly drunk 40-somethings with kids, careers, and mortgages. Even with switching tech about 50 times during the run, we mostly got shows out every week.
Bottom line, to quote Tom Brady, we all have a lot of shit going on. It's just gotten harder and harder to make this work. We've had some great times, and hey, we might get the crew back together once life settles down a bit. I've got a freshman at the UA now, and we'll be going to more games and out of pocket more. It just feels like the right time to let the pod go.
I'll probably keep the blog and twitter account going, and post Hog thoughts from time to time. I'll check the Mail Bag some but probably not every week or even every month. We'll probably still post our bowl contest for y'all.

Tom Logan and Patrick look ahead to the Alabama game, and cover the LSU "Rock Fight" from last Saturday. Lightning-quick picks segment and a good mailbag this week. Bowl look-ahead discussion.
The crew returns with a Miss State coverage pod (one day late). Tom Logan running away with the picks contest. Johnny F a no-show again, and the Mailbag returns.
The Razorpod crew is back after a two week hiatus with a Miss State preview show. The picks contest is in disarray as usual and JimmyG knows nothing---NOTHING---about Miss State.
The crew is back (more or less) with a full complement plus guest host FNG. Johnny and Tom take a beating for their lack of picks; was the play call on the 2-point conversion really that bad, or did KJ make the wrong read (a FNG X's and O's special feature).
JimmyG and Patrick cover the Georgia loss. Not much more to say. Turning to Ole Miss, no one really knows what to expect. Probably not 6 turnovers.
Full crew is back tonight with Johnny and Tom making their long-awaited return. We relive the A&M game in detail and discuss the Georgia contest. Tom is a Wally Hall-esque 16-2 in the picks contest.
JimmyG and Patrick are back with a recap of the Georgia Southern game. Texas A&M and the Southwest Classic is up next. Are Johnny and Tom taking in a Red Sox game? What penalties will be assessed against them for their failures in the picks contest? Also, a good discussion of the next four games for the Hogs.
Three man booth tonight going back over the great win against the Longhorns last Saturday in DWRRS. A great time was had by JimmyG and Patrick at the game, and we try to place the win in historical context. Looking ahead as we have the luxury to do to the A&M game, the season took on a new look.
JimmyG and Patrick are back with a wrap up of the Rice game and a look ahead to Texas. Many detours along the way as you would expect from a rivalry as historic as this one. Johnny and Tom are AWOL, which is early for Razorpod to start falling apart. hopefully, the Hogs do not do the same this weekend.
The crew returns for the Sisyphus-like task of another season of Razorpod. Consensus is this is Season 18, but who’s counting? We discuss—extremely briefly—the Rice game, and harken back to the olden days of 1:00 Southwest Conference kickoffs. We spend more time on the season preview and then get right into the picks.

The Hogs finish their 3-7 campaign with a 52-3 loss at home to Alabama Thanos. Picks contest is down to the wire, with Patrick attempting to game theory JimmyG, unsuccessfully.

The crew comes unglued about the bad call at the end of the Auburn game. COVID may play a part in this weekend's tilt with Ole Miss because of Lane Kiffin's poor mask discipline.
The crew is back one day late with a recap of the 21-14 victory over Miss. State this past weekend. Tom Logan is jubilant after the Hogs got off their 20 game losing streak. The mailbag is hopping with several listeners chiming in. Enjoy the show!
