New COVID-19 OMICRON (B1.1.529) Variant Uncertainty: Currently mild cases are seen in fully vaccinated but are being spread among the vaccinated and vaccinated. Thanks for watching!
COVID Rick Calculator
Ask your doctor about increasing your vitamin D and about adding K2. BOOSTERS are recommended for mRNA vaccinated after 6 months and for J & J vaccinated after 2 months.
Common Symptoms: Headache with extreme fatigue (sleepiness), sore throat, and body aches in the vaccinated according to South African doctors. Young people (unvaccinated 20-30's year olds have been affected more severely so far up to hospitalization).
Dr. Richard Lessells, ID specialist at the University of KwaZulu-Natal told BBC News that the variant is spreading rapidly in populations who he thinks have very high immunity. He cautions that it is too early to determine that the variant is mild.

Must-Have Medication for Your Medicine Cabinet to possibly prevent hospitalization or death from COVID-19. The vaccines will get us out of this pandemic. Is there a way to slow the death rate down? According to the ongoing research on Ivermectin, it sounds like we could.
The FDA is still reviewing the data on ivermectin and currently does not recommend it. It is best to ask your doctor for medical advice. If you don't have a doctor, schedule a virtual visit here with Dr. Syed Haider. Thanks for listening.

COVID19 vaccine side effects. This podcast was made from my YouTube video that can be found here. In this podcast, I will give you the truth about the COVID 19 vaccine's side effects and an update on ivermectin. I will also show you how to report side effects and get current adverse side effects information.
It is safe to take some pre-medications before your vaccine, but consider this expert's recommendation. The CDC recommends not to pre-medicate, but it's okay to treat with Tylenol post-vaccine if MD advises. Finally, while you wait on your turn to be vaccinated, ivermectin could be prescribed online if you what it, but ask for it early to prevent delay.

Do these things daily to reduce COVID-19 virus viral load. Viral load is one of two factors that determine if you will get COVID and if you will be hospitalized, put on the ventilator, or die from COVID. The other factor is your body's immune response to the viral load.
The larger the viral load the more likely you will get the virus and the worst the response. The new variants are among us. We all know to do the public health measure, but add these daily routines to reduce the COVID 19 viral load.

In this episode, Dr. Tonya tells you how Coronavirus (COVID-19) makes you sick and what to do if you get sick. COVID-19 starts in the throat and causes inflammation in the branches of the lungs. Perhaps it is plausible to think that you could routinely rinse your mouth and throat and take ibuprofen or Advil to prevent the virus from making you sick. However, to my knowledge, there are no studies to suggest that rinsing and anti-inflammatories would be of any benefit. Click here for the new protocol.

The gold standard for blood pressure monitoring is an ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, but this type of monitoring is not widely available. However, research has shown that home blood pressure monitoring is as accurate as ambulatory monitoring when done correctly. In this episode, I share how to get your most accurate blood pressure measurement to potentially avoid over-treatment, misdiagnosis of hypertension, and clinical inertia.
Remember always to empty your bladder, avoid eating, drinking, or smoking within 30 minutes of blood pressure monitoring and use your bare upper arm when measuring your blood pressure. Ready, let's do this!

We all know that hypertension is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease and stroke. I have two questions for you. Did you know that most of the decisions your doctor makes about your hypertension treatment are based on your 10-year cardiovascular risk score?
In this episode, I will tell you how to calculate your 10-year cardiovascular risk score, why it is essential to understand, and how to improve your score. According to extensive research that has been done since the 1960s, this calculation is fairly reliable if you are between 40-79 years old, have cholesterol less than 320, and without a history of cardiovascular disease.

Home Blood Pressure Monitoring: How to Make It Useful for Your Healthcare Provider's Review? In this episode, I will tell you how to make your home blood pressure monitoring useful for your healthcare provider's review. What I want for you is an accurate diagnosis and treatment, and I know you won't get the wrong diagnosis if you follow these instructions.
Home blood pressure monitoring, logging, and sharing might be the most important things you can do if you want to prevent being labeled and treated for hypertension incorrectly.
Measure once a day at various times for 7 days before your clinic visit for the best results based on recommendations from a BP panel of experts in 2017 (MD and researchers).
Small-sized validated blood pressure cuff 9-17 inches here. Regular-sized validated blood pressure cuff 13-17 inches here; Large-sized validated blood pressure cuff up to 16.5 to 21.25 inches here. Extra-large validated large cuff up to 16.5-23.6 inches click here.
List of validated blood pressure monitors click here.
Measuring your blood pressure in both arms is another very important thing to do to determine your risk for peripheral vascular disease, heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular disease. If your systolic blood pressure is greater than 10 points consistently when you compare your right and left arm, you might be at a higher cardiovascular risk. Let your health care provider know about this on your next visit.
Blood pressure measurement is crucial to figure out if you have high blood pressure or not because it will guide critical decisions about your health. Your doctor will use your blood pressure measurements to determine if you need medication and how much to prescribe.
Based on the 2017 hypertension guidelines, using office blood pressure monitoring to diagnose high blood pressure, is no longer recommended. Office blood pressure monitoring is used only as a screening tool.
Home blood pressure monitoring is in the new hypertension guidelines as the most accurate way to diagnose high blood pressure. However, what's missing is how to share your readings with your doctor. In this episode, you will learn how to share your blood pressure measurements with your doctor.
