My name is Jennifer Crothers and in 2017 I decided it would be a good idea to start up my own radio station. With minimal music knowledge and zero background in audio tech I packed in my shiny post grad job to convert an old bin shed into what is now one of London's most successful stations. This is still only the beginning so tune in to hear a short update on life behind the scenes of running a radio station.
I had the idea to make this podcast the morning of recording and make it that evening. I had to squeeze it in between presenters popping up, delivery guys, fixing stuff the in studio and so on... So yeah- I started a radio station a few years ago and now it's like the 'real deal' and expected to 'know stuff' about music and audio tech. Every 5 seconds something bonkers happens so what better way to draw you into the madness than to document my woes via the power of podcast. You're welcome.
