The most powerful woman in Egypt

You guessed it, Queen Cleopatra was the most powerful woman in Egypt.

And the last Pharaoh.

(That ao spelling combo throws me off every time. Makes me second guess it.)

A few little-known facts about this historical badass.

Cleopatra believed herself to be a living goddess.

With her type of power and rule, who could blame her?

Cleopatra formed her own drinking club.

Sounds like a cool Pharaoh to party with. Even back then community was important.

Queen Cleopatra knew how to make an entrance. She used clever stagecraft to reinforce her divine status.

She was also known to conceal a deadly poison in one of her hair combs.

Don’t mess with her.

Queen Cleopatra also stirred some sh!t up in Rome.

She was living there at the time of Caesar’s assassination. I’m not saying she had anything to do with the assassination. I couldn’t care less if she did actually.

Cleopatra eventually married Mark Antony. That relationship spawned a massive scandal for some reason.

Some dude named Octavian – Mark’s rival – used propaganda to portray Mark as a traitor under the rule of a scheming seductress. That seductress being Cleopatra.

Well, she was a divine goddess after all. Who could fault the guy?

Unafraid of warfare, Queen Cleopatra personally led several dozen Egyptian warships into battle with Antony’s fleet.

She’s equal parts warrior, equal parts partier.

Thousands of years later and we are still discussing this Queen.

Are you looking to stir some sh!t up online?

Business made thousands but cost twice as much

Ever run a business where you are making good money, but your expenses are twice as much as your revenue?

Kinda sucks doesn’t it?

What’s the point of running a business if all you are doing is spending and spending more than you are earning.

I’ve noticed this pattern quite often particularly in the network marketing industry.

Often times network marketers will buy inventory so that they rank advance or maintain their current ranking.

I’ll never forget – Eaton’s Centre. When they went bankrupt, I believe it was the CFO that said, we make $100MM per year, but we haven’t found a way to remain profitable doing it.

What good is that business?

Well, if your business isn’t sustainable unless you buy your own inventory your business just isn’t successful enough. Your clients are business partners should be self sufficient.

You aren’t running an actual business if you are getting paid from your own inventory purchases.

Sure you can convince yourself that you are going to use the inventory only, but do your own purchases should not be what sustains your business.

It’s like a cocaine dealer buying his own drugs. It just wouldn’t work.

If you are in the network marketing industry, the best way to grow your business is with a healthy mix of direct buyer customers and business partners who are duplicating your efforts.

Both creating their own customer base and business partners that will also recruit business partners and create direct customers.

This brings me to my next point. How do you find duplicatable business partners and direct customers?

Well, I don’t think there is a better way than building an email database of potential buyers and partners and email to that list.

Just like you would if you have a digital offer, a course, program, e-commerce site. Nobody wants to join your business unless they trust you, you’ve built that relationship with them, or they are entrepreneurial to begin with.

The old method is to email or text or call or ask anyone within 3 feet of you. Well, that is why your downline shrinks faster than you can grow it.

You are filling your downline with folks that don’t actually have long term vision and aren’t willing to put in the work to create their own vision.

Many would rather be told what to do, then to work on their own freedom. Take the latest world wide mess and the polls. People would rather be under someone else’s thumb than to think for themselves and step up and become a leader.

Yes being a leader can be a lonely place, but at the same time it’s where you can be your most creative, crash through any obstacles.

So how do we grow a downline that duplicates without losing momentum.

Enter a network marketing sales funnel. A simple one designed to capture emails. Trade a checklist or a resource guide or sample digital course or instructional video for that email information, then email them and sell them offers over and over again.

There is an underground network marketing group I was following and if you listen closely, they were actually making more money selling other offers, and generic training or affiliate sales, than they were in their network marketing company.

I remember one woman saying I made $16K making offers, and I made $3K in my network marketing business.

I’m thinking, what? Did everyone listening just miss that?

This woman is making more money in technically a side business (an offer) with network marketers as her niche than she is at her actual network marketing business.

What she’s doing is targeting network marketers as her clientele, but selling her other products and products. The beauty of this plan, is if her leads on her email list want to change network marketing companies, she will be top of mind and they will likely reach out to her to join her downline.

She’s growing a business and automatically – simultaneously - recruiting for her downline.

Obie Garbeau II shows up at the funeral, and turns it into a multi level marketing rally. How inappropriate. Have you ever been at a funeral or maybe a wedding, and they turn the event into a network marketing rally.

You've got to think these people, they have no scruples, they don't discriminate.

They will present their gift, their network marketing opportunity to change your world, anywhere they are. What I am talking about is "On Becoming a God in Central Florida, which is adark comedy about network marketing. So I'm going to touch on this first season of the series for a few episodes, call it a theme, because it's pretty funny.

But isn't it true, you know, the bait and switch scenarios where a friend might invite you to a home party, a house party, and doesn't tell you that it's just going to turn into this business recruiting scenario. And then all you want to do is get the heck out of the party. And then the next time that friend asks you to come over you wonder, hmm, is this going to be another party or not? Is this person inviting me to their place for fun or for business? And am I going to be trying to talk my way out of joining a network marketing opportunity.

Now think about that.

On the flip side, if you are in network marketing, and you're asking people to come over to your house, and the first thing they do is hesitate, because they think that you're going to give them a sales pitch, then you are tainting that friendship. You are affecting that friendship, and business should not affect that friendship.

And that's why you should only recruit those who are interested and not recruit those who just have a heartbeat and have skin and happen to know who you are. You should be targeted in your recruiting, and in your approach. And really, the only way to do that is to filter and sort them. And the way to do that automatically is with a network marketing sales funnel.

Because all you then have to do is send your potential prospects, in your recruiting efforts, send them to a specific link. They click on that link, they play the video, they give you their email, if they are interested. You then can contact them after the fact. All done automatically. They can sort and filter themselves without you having to repeatedly do the presentation. And that sales funnel can do the presentation for you. It could be your tool, it can be your asset. It can be duplicatable, because your downline can use that same presentation. And if you've nailed that presentation, to the point where it works repeatedly over and over again, then it will convert and you can just use that as your tool for yourself and your downline to constantly recruit over and over again.

A maximum amount of people in an optimized way because it works. And it's proven to convert and you don't have to worry about doing it over and over again. It does it automatically, all you have to worry about doing is inviting people to watch the video that's been pre recorded and that's automatically loaded in to your network marketing sales funnel. Now to discover 18 ways to monetize your mind using sales funnels without selling your soul, and this works for network marketing, head over to https://18.buildyourarmy.com. Thank you. Keep building. Enjoy your life.

It is 2022, officially January 1, 2022. And how are we going to make this the best year yet? And I'm not talking about cliches and manifestations or meditate your way through it. However, being strong mentally is probably 90% of the battle. Fighting the head trash between your ears, is probably the best way to make your year the best yet.

And push that agenda forward, create your own narrative, create your own economy. Things I need to work on, for sure, more content creation, grow my audience, grow my client base, some automation, possibly, definitely have to eat better.

Because if you're just constantly blurred and confused, you don't have direction, you're not going to make this year better than the last, it's going to be a lot of the same. A couple of tips. Minimize your news watching, because they're always talking about doom and gloom, no matter what. Case counts are up, murders are higher, blah, blah, blah. You cannot control any of that. What you can do is focus on what is within your control, in your wheelhouse.

On the personal side of things, I definitely need to exercise more, for sure. I need to work more consistently, on moving my own agenda forward. And the ways to do that is to actually schedule out and book appointments with yourself and honor those appointments. Particularly for those who do have full time jobs, you're probably focusing on someone else's business more than your own. And you really need to prioritize your own equally, if not better. I'm not saying to work on your business while you're working your full time job like during the same time, because that's just a douche move.

But you can work beforehand or after or on the weekends, probably beforehand is better, because then you get your stuff out of the way. And you can go about your day knowing that you have advanced your own business first. So more scheduling of your own appointments. And working those hours on more focused, less busy work, try to eliminate as much busy work as possible. Or use tools to automate it. See, the difference between someone who's a multimillionaire and a solopreneur is they have the ability to create a team because they invest in their staff and they have the funds and the resources to do that. As a solopreneur, it will take longer because you don't have the staff supporting you. Nothing that is very desirable is done on your own. But what you can do is you can put some automation in place, and use the automation as your outsourced employee. For example, a sales funnel, you can create a sales funnel once. And as potential clients visit your website, you can use the email software connectivity to collect their email. And then you can email them your offers, that is one and done, automated. And then it's in place, you never have to worry about it again. And all you have to focus on is creating content, getting more eyeballs to your sales funnel, and getting more people to sign up for your giveaway, your lead magnet, your cookie, your ethical bribe, whatever you want to call it.

But it's your exchange for their email address. So they would enter their email address into your site. And then you are automatically growing your audience that way. It's not passive because you still have to work on creating the content. But that part, you don't have to do manually anymore.

So choosing technology, not to replace any of your work, but to enhance and magnify and multiply any of your progress. Because we're solopreneurs and we don't have a team of people that we can rely on as our outsourced team, or our in-house team, you can rely on automation to open up more of your time and availability to work on the things that do generate revenue.

Automation is an enhancer, and a multiplier of things you're already doing. https://buildyourarmy.com for a free trial on the software to create a funnel and set up your automation. And pricing is very affordable. There's three tiers - the Scribe, the Noble.

Happy New Year. Cheers to 2022. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Surely you've had your challenges in 2021. But I challenge you to reflect on the positives and leave the negatives behind where they belong.

2021, for me, was simultaneously the most brutal year I've ever had in my life, because I received some devastating news. But that's actually surprisingly, working out, not too bad. Things are on the up and up on that end of things.

And simultaneously had the best year of my life, my daughter was born. And for those of you who are parents, you know exactly what I'm talking about. For those of you who are indifferent to being a parent, I think back on what I could have missed out on in my life. And it nearly brings me to tears almost every time. And for those who don't want to be parents, that's up to you as well, who the hell am I to judge what you do with your life.

But let's use 2022 to make sure you achieve your goals. I'm not about New Year's resolutions, but I am all about new year goals. And what I mean by that is, take some time, and you probably hear this advice all the time, it's nothing magical or different or new. So there's not gonna be anything mind blowing in this podcast, as far as advice for challenging a new year or taking on a new year. So I apologize in advance for that.

But take some time to write down what you want to accomplish in 2022. And then, at the end of the year, or not even don't wait to the end of the year, periodically, maybe monthly or quarterly, look at that list and see how much of it you are accomplishing. Because it will create positive momentum for you mentally, and momentum will bring on more momentum. Because the more you do……it's like creating a snowball, pushing a boulder up a hill, and then you get to the other end, and then it runs down the other side. All that beautiful mumbo jumbo about momentum. The starting friction is always the worst. And that's how I started this podcast series with talking about starting friction, and how it can suck it.

And as you move on and create more things, it gets easier. For example, you only have to create a website once. You continue to maintain it, sure. But you only have to build it once. A sales funnel, same thing, you create it once. It's in place, you can only tweak it and maintain it, improve on it. But you don't have to ever build it again. Once you configure your sales funnel to your email marketing database software system, you don't have to do that ever again. You do it once and it's done, it's connected.

So there's a lot of one and done things that are building blocks that are mandatory and needed to do but you only have to do them once. So then after that you only have to create content. One big thing for me is I struggled for the longest time with creating a lead magnet. And how do I know I'm creating the right one? Is it going to be the most effective? Blah, blah, blah, blah. I got to the point where I'm very happy with my lead magnet and how I've created it. So that's one big building block that I was able to overcome this year. And it sounds lame, because I probably should have done that, I don't know five years ago, but I was focusing on client work and wasn't really doing the automated side of providing services. Other than for client work, I'd automate their stuff, but I wasn't automating my own.

It's like the mechanic always has the shittiest car, you know, or the dentist with horrible teeth. The other big thing for me that I was able to accomplish, which also is aligned with the lead magnet is focus on the direction I'm going in as far as the kind of clientele that I want to work with. The services I want to provide, the automation I want to provide, the type of people I want to work with was big thing for me. But the messaging to target those people was even bigger, because it's one thing to know, you want to work with

males and females 40 years plus, two kids married.

Kirsten Dunst if I'm pronouncing her last name properly plays the role of Krystal Stubbs in On Becoming a God in Central Florida. And if you are in the MLM industry, I highly recommend you give this TV show a watch. I saw it on Apple TV, I don't know where else, it used to be on Crave, I think. It's only one season right now. I'm not sure if they're gonna renew it, but it is a dark comedy revolved around a Multi Level Marketing business with some some crazy high jinks.

Kirsten Dunst who plays again Krystal Stubbs. It's called On Becoming a God, it should almost be called On Becoming a Goddess in Central Florida because Krystal Stubbs on her rise in the MLM company that she's in, she merges her business with her upline, so basically, they merge the two businesses together and become partners. And in doing that, she becomes extremely dominant.

This podcast is not for the faint of heart. Trigger warning.

In the scene where she forces her upline to join forces with her so that they partner companies, she basically dominates the crap out of the guy. She slaps him around a bit, and then chokes him a bit and forces him down on his knees and makes him do something to her.

And there's a few other scenes were essentially her upline becomes submissive to her in the in this series. Which I always found interesting because in MLM, it's very higher hierarchical. There is a hierarchy and your upline is always coaching you and kind of pushing you on what to do next to grow your business. So it is a very dominant submissive role, if you want to look at it that way.

And in this series, they take it one step further, and they go outright kinky with it. I found it humorous, I've got a twisted sense of humor. So that kind of stuff makes me laugh.

She basically outranks her upline, which I have a program for how to outrank your upline. If you want to get a copy of that, head on over to outrank.buildyourarmy.com Again, it's outrank.buildyourarmy.com where I show you a way to recruit differently than your upline coaches you to do.

There's the initial scene where Krystal Stubbs forces her up line down on his knees, and then there's another one where she tells him to put his head in the toilet. And I don't think she thinks he's actually going to do it. But he goes ahead and does it and she starts laughing at him hysterically. Which is clearly a humiliating scene.

Which brings me to my next point, which is always comical. There is the system that they keep harping on the downline. The Garbeau System. It's created by a guy named Obie Garbeau the Second. I can't stop myself from laughing.

Obie Garbeau, the Second. They never really go into what the system is other than just these motivational tapes that they force you to buy. And it made me look at the underground economy or the backdoor economy of the MLM industry.

Because there's not a lot of margin sometimes in the products you're selling. Depends on the products. There definitely are, the company I'm with, the margins are healthy enough where even if you just sell direct, you can make a decent commission, you don't have to have an actual team recruiting for you.

In this series, they reveal that there aren't many margins in the actual selling of the products. And so this guy, Obie Garbeau II makes all of his money selling his motivational tapes and his training. And so anybody who veers off from that, they really come down hard on you. And isn't that the truth with MLM. That they force you have to follow this system and don't veer off of it. You can't change any of it. You can't do anything unique from it.

But what other business out there works when you're not unique? You have to be unique, you have to stand out. Otherwise, what's to say they won't just buy from your competitor, like why wouldn't they just buy from somebody else selling the same product? If you're saying that all the products are the same and the systems are the same,

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. I am Nelly, your host with the most.

I don’t understand what that line means. It’s so cheesy. And anyway, in this episode we are discussing Christmas with the Ronas. Yes, I have fallen victim to the variant. One of the variants.

I don’t know if it’s the one named after the airline company, or the one that sounds like a Decepticon planet. But I am in self isolation. So why not record a podcast? Right?

I can tell you that the symptoms have been mild, for the most part. I am on day five. And it’s no stronger than the flu with a couple little minor nuances – like middle of the chest and back pain. Which is probably linked directly to, you know, the lungs.

Don’t lay on your back. That’s a bad idea. But other than that, I’m managing pretty good. It is lonely in my house, though. My wife and my new daughter, new ish, nine months old is now spending time at my in-laws, which is convenient, because I can have the entire house to myself to cough all over the place.

I am self isolating because the last thing I want to do is give my daughter an illness like that. The sad part is though I am going to miss her first Christmas. But enough with the sob stories.

The purpose of this episode is to talk about government overreach. And how does that have anything to do with being an entrepreneur? It has absolutely everything to do with being an entrepreneur. Because, the way I look at it is I’ve never been a huge fan of big government. I’ve never been a fan of government in my life really, to begin with. Other than maybe keep the roads and infrastructure in check. Other than that, I don’t know if I could think of anything I need the government for. Of course police and fire and hospitals and all that stuff.

But beyond that, like telling me what to do with my life or helping me decide whether I should see my family on Christmas or not, is absolutely ridiculous. Case in point, if you tell me that I should self isolate because I get ill, and it spreads like wildfire. You could see that in the stats, the thing spreads like crazy, then sure, I’ll self isolate, but to tell me whether I should meet with my family, if I’m not sick, is stupid. Or telling a business, how many people they should have as capacity in their establishment is also ludicrous to me.

I don’t rely on the government to make my decisions in my life. And when they try to impose their decisions on me, I am not a fan. And I think all of you listeners being entrepreneurial, because this is an entrepreneur podcast, I would imagine that you’re the same way because you are a leader, you’re not a follower. Because you are not happy with the status quo. And that really is what this whole podcast is about – challenging the status quo, not being fake and boring. And faceless and vanilla. Being true to yourself.

And I think that all plays a role in the fact of you want to be free to make your own decisions, and you very well damn should be. So how do we fight back against all of this government overreach? How do we do it?

Well, it’s funny because I was having this conversation with a good friend of mine, who’s also an entrepreneur – owns a construction company. And he agreed with what I was saying. But he doesn’t believe that there’s enough people that will stand up and fight for what they feel is right. And that is a shame.

What we need to do is do just that – fight for what you believe in. Fight for what you believe is right. And the best way to do that is through entrepreneurship. Through building your own business, because you can build your own economy that way. And be free to make decisions and free to make your own choices. Not tied to the ups and downs of what the media is saying the economy is doing or what the media is telling you inflation is doing.

You know, the 2008 crisis, it was a real thing. Obviously the housing market crashed in the States. And it affected global markets.

But I always wonder, in other years where they say we’re in a recession. If the media didn’t say that we’re in a recession, how would we know? Are we going to change our buying behaviors?

Individually, we’re not going to change our lifestyle, and stop going out and shopping. Or spending money unless we see that there’s a bigger issue. There’s certain positions where you would see that, let’s say, you’re in financing and banking, or you went for a loan, you will start to see that.

But in every day, living your life, and buying a t-shirt, or your clothing or groceries, things like that, you wouldn’t know that we’re in a recession. So maybe the media shouldn’t talk about it. Maybe the media is too involved in the narrative and leads the narrative and creates a story where there isn’t one.

Anyways, I went on a little bit of a tangent there. But being an entrepreneur, is the best way to fight. So that you don’t need your government. The government who has their hands in your pockets. So you’re not relying on any handouts, any programs. And you don’t care what the economy is doing, because you’ve created your own stable revenue, that you have complete control over. And that is the way to do it.

If you have a business, but you do not have a website, the first thing you absolutely must do is go out and register that domain name. Own that domain name. Do not tie your business, the foundation of your business online to a web platform that you do not own. You have to own your own domain name and have your own hosting.

But that’s very affordable, it’s like $14 a year, or less to have a domain name. And hosting, you can get as little as like, five bucks a month or lower sometimes. There are startup plans available. If you head over to https://byacast.com/hosting to get set up with your web domain and your web hosting, because you can’t run your website on a platform that you don’t own. It blows my mind. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Blows my mind when companies say, you know, check us out at facebook.com/anything or youtube.com/anything. Why? Why would you send all of your potential customers to a platform you don’t own? Set up your own website. If anything, at minimum, set up your own domain and have it redirect. So you have control over the traffic to redirect it back somewhere else. If you’re looking for a quick way to get up and running and then adjust it later. But absolutely own your domain and own your web server hosting services. And again, it’s https://byacast.com/hosting to set that up because if you do not own your website, or your domain, you’re not in business. Keep building. Enjoy your life.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in all the negative media that is out there today. There’s always going to be a new variant, the Decepticon variant. It’s more transmissible. But the transmissible variant, the most transmissible variant of all, is the negativity. And we can’t control what happens in the world around us. But what we can control is how we react to it.

And there is always opportunities in the storms. In fact, most opportunities come in the storms. During the negative economy. If you rise above, there’s always a way to break through and make things happen for you. And your business. People are afraid to take risks at these times. And this is where you can outshine them by simply conducting your business and maybe being a little bit louder and brighter.

During those times, if you’ve been on the fence, on starting a new business, now is completely the time to do that. Even if you were a network marketer, let’s use that as an example. And you were trained to do home parties. And now you can’t do home parties, because of social distancing. What you can do, though, is use a sales funnel, to create your presentation and automate that presentation. And rather than hosting a home party, just send people to your link that will take them through that presentation.

And you know, people are now in the comfort of their own home longer. So they might have time to check it out where before, they didn’t. And maybe now is the time where they’re looking for a different avenue to create revenue.

Or they might be looking for your digital course that you’ve just created or you thought about working on. Now is the time to launch that digital course. Because there’s going to be clients, potential customers that may not have thought closely about starting a business, but now they’re seeing things around them.

They may have lost their job, unfortunately, or maybe they have more time on their hands because they’ve slowed things down, or they’re really prioritizing different things in life. And now, having their own business, a sense of pride in something that they build on their own is something that they’re looking deeper to do.

There’s no better time than now, to start a business. There’s no better time, then in the downturn of economies to grow your business or to reassess how you spend your time, and energy.

Everybody’s using this virus as an excuse to provide crappy customer service. Things like oh, you know, the supply chain is down, which is true, but that doesn’t change the fact that you can care a little bit more at the counter.

Let’s say you go into the bank. The bank teller doesn’t have to be rude to you when he asks if you actually have to come in or if you can use the autmated teller instead. They can be nice and thoughtful.

When you go to buy your coffee, the person at the counter accepting your order doesn’t have to treat you like crap. These things are happening. And everybody’s using this virus as an excuse. But if you don’t have the virus and you are still at work conducting business, why are you using the virus as an excuse to not do your part? I mean, I’m sure mental aspects come into play, but you have to try to rise above.

Control or pay attention to things within your control. Items that you can control. You cannot control what the media talks about. So maybe turn it off, take a break from it. Maybe take up a hobby to clear your mind. Or maybe focus more on your business and reaching out to people because there are a ton of opportunities. Other entrepreneurs that might need your services or your solutions to the problems that you solve.

There’s opportunities in the storm. There always has been in the history of the universe. Opportunities are in those storms. So take a break, sit back, maybe go for a walk, clear your mind. Think about that business idea that you’ve been putting on the back shelf. Now is the time. Keep building. Enjoy your life. Thank you.

Tons of business lessons in this TV series, if you’re looking between the lines. This woman, Beth Dutton, her character is so awesome that I know a number of women that have female crushes on her. She is that irresistible. In some ways, a person most of us aspire to be, including me. Because she is such a badass, take no prisoners kind of gal. Now again, it’s Yellowstone the series not the National Park. And it is a huge recommendation. So schedule your binge watching, and your popcorn eating immediately for this TV series.

Okay, luckily, I’ve never lost my car keys. And number one, you do not have control over how much you inherit. Whether your family is wealthy or not. So that leaves us with method number three, which is work.

Now, I don’t ask that you become a misguided workaholic. But I do recommend you become a Funnelholic. And I want to introduce you to what I hope to be your next addiction.

And that’s my free Funnelholics course inside my personal mobile app, which just might help you with Beth Dutton’s third method of getting rich. The working part. It’s easy to start, just head on over to byacast.com/funnelholics. Now, this marvelous app technology will auto-magically take care of the rest. All you have to do is head over to byacast.com/funnelholics. It’ll take you right into a page where you can scan the QR code, if you’re on a desktop or if you’re on mobile, it’ll take you right into the app.

A Funnelholics addiction.

It’s going to be your next addiction. I promise you that. Again, countless business lessons in this series. Right away, first episode, we get a peek behind the curtain into the cut throat world of investment banking. And Beth gives us a crash course on the leverage ratio, which is a financial statement balance sheet ratio.

Now, very boring, very mundane. But Beth can take even the most mundane topic like balance sheet financial ratios, and make it sexy. Make it glamorous. Make it cool. And again, sexy.

In another episode, Beth Dutton shares the most sought after answer to life’s most asked question. And what is that question? The question is, how to get rich. So not only does Beth provide us with one method, she provides us with four millionaire making methods. And here they are.

Okay, this list is not for the faint of heart.

Number one, you can inherit it. Number two, you can steal it. Number three, you can work for it. And number four, you can learn how to suck a bleep like you lost your car keys in it. Okay, I do not recommend number two or four, I do not recommend you steal it. I do not recommend you suck a bleep as if you lost your keys in it.

It’s much, much healthier than any liquor cabinet, and it’s a much safer method than sucking a bleep like you lost your car keys.

Keep building. Enjoy your life.

When you’re trying to become an entrepreneur, do you find that people that are already successful or maybe your upline if you’re a network marketer, basically job shames you. They call your job, J.O.B., instead of job. They’ll say things like, who’s reaping the benefits of your work right now.

Or how about, when you’re at your J.O.B. tomorrow, think of who profits from your time and sacrifice.

So here’s the thing, when you guys are out there, trying to build your business, just like I’m trying to build mine, and if you are working a full time job alongside that business you’re trying to grow, there is no shame in having that job. Do not feel ashamed because you have a job. Think of it as your job is your way to fund your business. It will protect you from making horrible decisions, desperate decisions, it’ll give you choices, you can go a little bit slower. You can be a little bit more strategic, you can only work with your ideal clientele, so that you can build it and enjoy it your way.

Yes, it sucks that you also have to balance a full time job. With being an entrepreneur, it’s a lot of work. And ideally, you could just become an entrepreneur and be successful right out of the gate. But that’s not always going to be the case. So in lieu of that, instead of quitting a job for a business that just isn’t ready, just not producing sufficient revenue, why not work your business while you work your full time job. I don’t mean at the same time, because it’s disrespectful to your job to work it at the same time, I mean, after hours, before hours, evenings or mornings and weekends, around your full time job schedule.

That way you can take the funds that you’re earning with your job, your J.O.B. and you can use those funds to invest, maybe outsource staff, some marketing, a sales funnel. You do not have to feel shame, because you have a job. It’s a means to an end. It’s respectful to have a job. It helps pay the bills.
