“It was me who took you out of the earth. Now the earth wants you back.” Darth Willow has everyone on the ropes, Buffy’s stuck in a hole, Xander’s KO'd, Anya is about to die trying to save the nerd duo, when she’s saved by a handsome former watcher from the UK. Giles is back and he’s all juiced up with magic and ready to fight Dark Willow. Only to be immediately taken down and all his borrowed magic absorbed into the now Super Saiyan Dark Willow (her power level is over 9 thousand!), she’s powered up like never before and ready to destroy the world. But first she sends some swamp-thing elemental dirt monsters after Buffy and Dawn, you know so they can fight and talk. Meanwhile at burning man Spike is tripping out, hallucinating that he’s fighting the fire dancers and then that he’s cover in bugs. Giles, now dying, tells Anya that Willow has absorbed the essence of true magic, whatever that means, and that’s the opportunity for a good boy to reach her. Willow is channels the magic into the remains of a satanic church, which we all know is how you destroy the world, when her bff Xander shows up. Using his heart and a story about kindergarten Xander emotionally breaks Willow so hard she loses all her powers and falls to the ground an emotional mess. Hooray, the world is saved! Oh, yeah and Spike, who is totally unaware of all this, gets his soul back

“I miss Pylea.” -Cordelia In Heart Throb, Angel takes on a vampire named James, and confronts the nature of loving someone who is dead. In That Vision Thing, Wolfram & Hart blackmails Angel with an assault on Cordelia’s psyche. The only way to save her is to rescue a mysterious man from a hell dimension.
In That Old Gang of Mine, this is the episode where we ask ourselves are there any good monsters and we learn why Gunn is never allowed back to Caritas, when his old crew takes on the demons.
In Carpe Noctem, Angel body swaps with a horny old man at a retirement home.
In Fredless, Winnifred’s family shows up at the hotel, and we say goodby to Winnifred...or do we? Bug monsters assault Angel’s hotel and Winnifred shows up to fight them just in time.
In Billy, there’s this guy named Billy and if he touches you – you commit misogynistic violence.
And finally, in Offspring, Angel struggles with his relationship with the very pregnant Darla and learns that not only is he a dad, but that there’s something about that baby.
Dawn meets up with a vampire but will she go all the way?
Buffy: don’t blame me if we have this same conversation over and over and over again.

Buffy loves the Ice Show..and has daddy issues. Faith is on a "walkabout". Giles betrays Buffy's trust. The Watcher Council gets creepy. Buffy turns 18.
Willow’s coven is putting together a protection spell, but the tools she’s using feel a lot more sinister than those that one might use for protection. There’s no connection between the supposedly murdered kids and teenagers.
Parents only get interested in their kids when they want
to find out what’s going on when they want to play a trick. Willow’s mom is a hypocrite.
And final question: Who is getting skinned in this town?
Just in time for the holiday – it's a Buffy Christmas! But it's the First Evil instead of Santa Claus. Oz gets a chance to prove that he is a superior human being, Angel tries to kill himself, and a special guest edits the podcast.
Cordelia wishes Buffy never came to Sunnydale and we get to party at the Bronze with Dark Willow and the Master. Viewed objectively, the alternative timeline isn’t that much better than the original.
