In the Built To Grow show I detail the EXACT strategies responsible for growing each of my 8-figure companies. You also learn how I've helped companies to more than triple in size in less than a year. And you get the exact process we use with companies to help them generate millions of dollars over the course of months, because... The truth is businesses that are built to grow always grow. On the other hand, businesses that were not specifically engineered to grow, rarely grow and often hit plateaus. But when you know how to grow effectively, scaling becomes predictable.Nothing we discuss here is theory, fluff, or guesswork.
Business growth stages explained: Why companies under $30M struggle to scale and how to set the right targets for predictable growth.
Many businesses stall not because of market conditions, but because leadership focuses on goals that don't match the company's current stage.
In this, I break down the most common strategic mistake that prevents companies from scaling efficiently from 7 to 9 figures.
Drawing on three decades of building, selling, and advising high-growth companies, I outline the core stages of business growth and the specific priorities required at each level.
You'll learn why premature focus on oversized long-term goals slows momentum, and how stage-appropriate targets drive consistency and profitability.
This framework is designed for founders and executives who want sustainable growth without unnecessary overhead or distraction.
In this podcast, Chris breaks down five proven revenue levers used by real companies to drive rapid growth without increasing ad spend, headcount, or product complexity.
These strategies focus on tightening the buying process, improving messaging, and increasing value from existing customers rather than chasing new ones.
Each tactic is practical, measurable, and designed to work across industries and business models.
This is a framework for founders and operators looking to build durable, scalable revenue, without relying on trends or guesswork.
So watch now to understand where revenue is being left on the table, and how to fix it.
In this video, I break down a habit I've seen almost every 9-figure founder use, including a friend who's built multiple billion-dollar companies.
It's simple, but most people ignore it...
You'll see how top CEOs use this in meetings, how it impacts leadership, and how utilizing it can immediately improve focus and clarity.
I also share how this has helped me grow a portfolio of companies without burning out. If you're trying to scale, lead better, or make sharper decisions, then this video is for you, so watch now...
The level of life you're at right now, or that you will ever be at, is all about 2 things:
The people you surround yourself with.
The opportunities that you take advantage of. I'm not telling you to chase shiny objects and jump on every potential to make a dollar.
But you need to know where you're going in life. And then every opportunity that takes you 1 inch closer to that goal, take it.
Watch now and see how the top CEO's do this at the HIGHEST level...
I think we all get caught up in the grind, in the day-to-day momentum of doing the things we know grow companies in our industry.
And for the most part, if you’re taking the right actions, that can grow a 7-figure company, maybe even a low 8-figure company. But that’s a slow process, and it’s a highly competitive process, meaning that everybody else in your industry is also fighting for those same customers using those same platforms.
So every day you or your team are competing for the same pool of fish, and the moment that particular marketing stops performing, even just a little bit, you hit a wall in your growth...
…and you have to throw more money at your campaign in order to try to pull yourself out of that hole. And that’s the world that most companies live in.
But I’ve built 12 successful companies, doing something a little different.
What I’m going to show you in this video has been responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, not just in my companies, but also in the companies in my advisory firm, so this framework are duplicatable.
And it’s called the 7-day sprint.
Tune in now to see what the 7-day sprint is, and how YOU can use it to transform your business...
Most people think failing means you're doing something wrong.
It doesn't...
It means you're doing something hard.
And if you’re goal is to build a 10, 20, 50, or $100 million company, or to become someone who actually changes the world, you're going to fail.
A lot.
And if you feel stuck, like you’re behind, or like your past is proof you'll never get there, then this will help you flip that script, and scale FAR faster.
So let’s get into this...

In business you want to make sure that every year, if not every quarter or every month, that your revenue is going up.
Because everything else that allows you to run your business is becoming more costly, whether that's your cost of doing business, or your cost of the goods and services that you sell.
EVERYTHING keeps becoming more expensive, but as entrepreneurs you often don’t see those cost increases, until 2-3 or 4 years go by, and now you look at your P&L and you see that you're expenses are eating away your margin.
Watch now and see why you always have to focus on an increase of both revenue and profit, and how to do it.
In this I’ll show you exactly how most businesses are using AI in a way that kills long-term growth, and the 10 things you need to stop doing with AI, even if your team, or your vendors, are telling you it’s better…
Because your team, and your vendors, are always looking for ways to reduce their workload, not improve YOUR bottom line.
What I’m about to show you comes from thousands of hours of testing in my companies… …with concrete metrics and AB testing that shows where AI is kicking ass, and where it’s costing us sales and retention, potentially to the tune of MILLIONS of dollars.
So tune in to see this now, and how it applies to YOU.
Don't allow people to BS you or to get you to do things because of their enthusiasm or because of their emotions. Con artists use their emotions, to get you emotional.
People who always seem emotional, whether that's happy, sad, excited, needy or whatever, are anchors in your life.
They literally leach off of you, and they make you feel like you’re lucky to be part of their life.
But there’s a way to see through this in anyone…
So watch now to see that way, and how you can use it to drive success in your life...

Lee Jorge built a $200+MM brand in the commercial insurance and surety bond industry, launched multiple successful restaurants, and developed commercial real estate - but his success didn’t come from grinding it out like most online experts tell you to do. His success was built on one core principle: consistently overdelivering to clients, employees, family, and friends.
In this episode of Success Explained, I sit down with Lee to unpack how he scaled from startup to a 9-figure business model by creating undeniable value, building trust across industries, and refusing to compromise on service.
You’ll hear how this entrepreneur carved out market share in saturated spaces, built a winning team culture, and why real success starts with who you are behind closed doors - not just what you do in business.
Whether you're launching your first company or leading a high-growth organization, this conversation offers a private look, behind the scenes of what it really takes to predictably scale to 9 figures.
The first company I built almost died, not because of competition, not because of the economy, but because of 8 mistakes I made that nearly wrecked everything.
If you’re scaling a company right now, and you want to grow without burning time or cash, this video will save you years.
So watch now and see the 8 mistakes I made, so you can avoid them, and if you've already made them you'll see how to fix them the best way possible...
Alex Goen built a supplement brand with over a BILLION DOLLARS in sales, as well as a string of other successful brands. With a brilliant mind for marketing, his companies consistently advertise by doing the opposite of everyone else - flipping industry norms on their head to grab attention and drive growth.
In this episode of “Success Explained,” we dive deep into Alex’s journey of building a billion-dollar brand, and exploring how strong Christian values and a servant-leadership mindset drives the best decisions. You’ll see why customer-driven marketing (instead of paid ads), mastering one core skill, and embracing “unmanagement” can unlock massive growth. Alex also reveals the power of self-talk, the value of incremental improvement, and how authentic testimonials and bold partnerships (NASCAR, Indy Racing, Orange County Choppers) set his brands apart - all while balancing faith, family, and giving back.

Or lost 40 pounds, and now they’re heavier than ever?
Or got into the perfect relationship, and now they’re alone again?
That’s not bad luck. It’s their baseline.
People always revert back to how they see themselves and what they believe they’re worth.
And it doesn't matter how much you achieve, if the way you see yourself is still stuck at a lower level, you’ll eventually sabotage yourself and your business, and your team.
Watch now, and I’ll show you how most people get stuck, and why so many companies plateau at a certain revenue...
If you’ve ever felt like your team is dragging you down, or your company’s stuck at a plateau, chances are it’s because of this one mistake… and almost every business owner makes it.
In this video, you’re going to see how companies 10, 15, 20 X’ed their growth, the moment they made this one simple operational shift.
On the other hand, I’ve seen this mistake destroy 8-figure companies, and stall out others before they even hit $2MM.
So what do they get wrong, and what's the magic that fixes it?
Watch now and see!

In this podcast, I’ll break down the most common types of investors and how to position your business for funding success.

No matter what size your business is right now, hiring one great employee can grow your company’s bottom line faster than almost any other task you could focus on.
But most businesses mess this up because they either…
Both can work, but one’s very costly and one’s way too risky.
Watch now and see the bullet points we follow to hire and develop strong, motivated, loyal teams inside of each of my companies.
To grow a business, you have to remember: vendors are tools. We can use them during times of growth when we don't have enough employees. But to grow an 8- or 9-figure business, we need to surround ourselves with people who will go to war with us and stick with us when times get tough because they see the big picture.
Our responsibility as founders is to grow — in an honest, ethical, moral, and legal way. Every year, if not every quarter or every month. So watch now and see how do that, and how do it in the most efficient way possible...
If you talk to any really successful person you'll find this in common with all of them....

The difference between somebody who is growing, and somebody who is stagnant, is amazingly simple.
And when you flip this switch in your life… you trigger growth very quickly.
The difference is this...
Watch now and see the difference, and how it can affect YOUR business and life...
There's only 3 places I ever look for answers in business...
And one of the biggest problems people have, especially when their business gets stuck at a plateau, is that they get these out of order, or they rely on just 1 or 2 of these places, instead of combining all 3.
But we don't make any decisions in any of my companies, or in the companies I advise, unless we look at all 3 of these of these places first… in this particular order, and that's resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue.
So watch now and see what these 3 places are, and how they can transform your business and life as well!
You don't get what you want in life, you get what you HAVE to have.
Which is why in business, we don't set goals and then hope those goals are going to motivate us to move forward...
In business, we set our targets, then we break those targets down into actions that need to be taken in order to reach those targets.
And your entire day should be committed to taking those actions.
Watch now and see how to get anything and everything you want in life, just with a few simple changes...
My birthday was just a couple weeks ago.
And I realized how many people hate the idea of getting older, because I got a lot of: texts, and cards, and phone calls, from friends who said things like "You're getting older" or "How’s it feel to be one year closer to death" or something "funny" like that.
But one of the blessings that we get with age, is that we get WISER.
And you can change the course of your life, if you know how to use that wisdom to your advantage...
So watch now and see how YOU can get better with age, because as much as we hate to admit it, its inevitable.
Do you know what I did the other day?
I got up and had a great workout, then I took a sauna, then I walked on the beach.
And then later on I took my daughter to the movies, and then we went shopping, and that night, I cooked a great dinner, and I talked to my son about guns because he just got back from an 8-hour gun training.
But what I didn't do, was look at my email, or reply to texts, or think about the thousand and one things that are going on in my business life.
Because, although your success in business has a lot to do with the work you put in, it is also has a lot to do with your ability to rest…
Watch now and see how and when MULTI MILLIONAIRES take days off, and how you should apply this to your life too...
When you hit a big target in your business or in your life, what’s the very first thing you do?
Let’s look at this from an entrepreneur standpoint… when a big target is hit in most businesses, what’s the first things your employees want to do?
They want to CELEBRATE, or they want to be rewarded with time off.
But when momentum begins, either in business or in your personal life, it is not the time to celebrate and sit on your laurels.
When momentum begins, that’s the time to push the gas pedal and go faster.
Watch now and see not only how to achieve big wins in business but how to keep on winning after that...

I would argue that inspiration is the impetus for everything in our companies, and it’s the impetus for everything in our personal lives too.
For example, I’m constantly inspired by how my parents raised me....
Maybe not knowing at the time that those lessons were going to be so helpful to me, but now looking back and remembering those lessons, and from watching other great parents, has helped me to be a better parent myself.
I’m also inspired by people who are healthy and in great shape, and that drives me to stay on task with my health and fitness.
But how do we GET INSPIRED?
Watch now and see how to get inspired and how this can TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE!
The truth is most people are lazy.
They're looking for an easy way, or they're looking for a shortcut to be successful.
And when you get used to looking for shortcuts in life, whether that's a shortcut to build a business, to accumulate wealth, or to lose weight, what happens every time is that you become the kind of person who constantly looks for shortcuts, and 2 things happen to you.
Watch now and see what these 2 things are and how to avoid them...
Nobody becomes great unless they have an ego.
Nobody becomes a CEO unless they have an ego.
Nobody becomes a great pianist, or a great architect, or a great doctor, unless they have an ego.
Moral of the story, most people who succeed in ANYTHING have an ego.
Watch now and see why this is, and how this affects YOU...
We've all known people who have been super successful whether it's in a sport, or in business, or in relationships, and then something happens where they experience a defeat and it breaks them, and they're never the same.
That always happens with people who define themselves as what they do for a living.
Meaning their identity is tied to whatever they do for work, like someone might be a basketball player or an entrepreneur, or a singer.
And as soon as they experience defeat in that area of their life, they have a meltdown, and they're never the same.
Watch now and see how to avoid this and define yourself PROPERLY, and how it can transform your entire life...

If you’ve been in business for more than a year but haven’t surpassed the million-dollar mark, or if you’ve been in business for more than five years and haven’t more than 10Xed that then you’re almost definitely holding on to too many tasks.
Because what happens for a lot of entrepreneurs, is that they get into business and start doing everything themselves because either:
OR
This is where a lot of entrepreneurs get stuck, and its why so many businesses either fail to grow, or get stuck at a very low revenue level.
Watch now and see 3 SIMPLE things you can do that will make it perfectly clear what tasks that if you let go of them will result in more growth, and most likely more bottom-line profit to your business...
There's two questions every successful entrepreneur asks themselves on a regular basis.
That regular basis may be annually, or quarterly, or even daily depending on how quickly your business is growing right now.
And these two questions point out the weakest aspects of their business.
The parts that might be getting weak as they grow, so they can fix them before they begin to hurt their growth…
So watch now to see these 2 questions, and how they apply to YOUR business too...
Have you ever felt overwhelmed, alone, and like you’ve got 5 important projects and nothing is getting done fast enough?
That’s what people feel 2 steps before they burnout, and by burning out, I don’t mean you literally collapse and get sick... Burn out is when you stop being effective, meaning you’re thinking about 10 things when you should be laser focused on the one task that moves the needle the most, before moving on to the next task.
Burnout is the opposite of productivity, and there’s millions of videos out there that talk about boosting your productivity, and if just the thought of there being millions of videos out there on boosting productivity makes you feel overwhelmed, then your problem is not productivity, it’s that you’re burned out in some way.
Watch now and see how to fix this, and watch you productivity SKYROCKET!
Obviously as an entrepreneur one of the things that we think about with cars is the tax advantage of larger cars...
And that's a pretty straightforward equation, and if that’s right for you then go for it, but personally, I hate trucks and SUVs.
I think they’re awesome for other people, in fact the great majority of my friends have at least one truck or SUV... but they’re not for me.
And this is a big topic for a lot of entrepreneurs, because most of us are always in the market for another cool car.
If that's you, or if you just want to know the best cars for entrepreneurs, that's what this video is all about.
So watch now too see how to pick the right car FOR YOU...
Confidence is probably the number one character trait that you NEED to succeed in business.
In fact, without it, it doesn't make a difference how many books you read, or how many trainings you go to, you will very quickly lose anything you gain unless you have confidence.
Watch now and see if YOU are lacking confidence, and how it could be affecting your life...
It's vital to understand when you need a mental break, and what you can do to quickly refresh yourself.
Otherwise, you’ll burn out, or at the very least you’ll become a less effective leader which always results in what... Poor decisions and lower revenue.
Watch now and see if YOU need a mental health day, and if so, when to take one...
There’s going to be times when that negative voice inside your head is just a little louder than it should be, and outside factors in your life start taking up real estate in your mind.
When that happens, you’ve got one of two options.
You can either give in by listening to them and allowing the stories to play out and get bigger… or you can say NO.
Watch now and see what to do when things just don't seem to go your way, and how to bounce back BETTER THAN EVER…
When you have a morning routine that you know you’re going to do as soon as your feet hit the floor after getting out of bed, and that routine frames the rest of your day by starting the very first hour, the first 30 minutes, or even the first 15 minutes with something that gives you a quick win right off the bat… what you find is that your days will be more successful, your attitude will be more positive, and your results for the rest of the day will be more impactful.
So, watch now and see examples of how to start your day right, not taken from books, or seminars, or podcasts, but from AMAZINGLY HIGH-PERFORMING EXECUTIVES who I know...
Lots of business owners struggle in the beginning because of the sheer number of tasks they have on their plate every single day.
Sometimes business owners even drive their businesses to the ground by being stubborn and not hiring anybody to take tasks off their plate.
Watch now and see the 1 hire I made, and several other entrepreneurs have made that took my businesses to the NEXT LEVEL!

Too many teens get comfortable.
They get a job, they get comfortable in that job, and then they fail to set bigger goals.
Or they go from high school to college not because they want a college degree, but because they’re afraid they don’t know what to do with their life yet, so college is a place they can feel comfortable, and it’s a reason to put off the possible failures that they might have in their first few years in business.
But those are some of the most important failures that shape the most successful and the happiest people.
Watch now and see the best ways to make money as a teenager…
The masses always tell you that you shouldn't care what other people think.
They say social media is killing people's confidence, and that people are constantly comparing their worst day to everybody else's best day.
But the truth is, as an entrepreneur, you better care what everybody else thinks.
Watch now and see why it's CRUCIAL that you care what everybody thinks about you in business!
There are four parts of every business that determine how much and how smoothly it’ll grow.
And when any of those areas are broken, business slows, and sometimes stops entirely, which is why so many businesses hit plateaus.
Watch now and see what these four parts are, and how you can maximize them in your business!
I don't think it's a problem to think about death on a regular basis, because at least in my life, it's made me really think about how I spend my time every day, if I'm spending time with people who are really worth the short time we have on this planet, and if what I'm doing in my life and in my businesses is truly helping people.
…it makes you change your way of thinking.
Watch now and see how thinking about death helps me succeed, and how it can help you too!
Many of you know that I struggled for the first DECADE of my business life, literally living in my parents' house, supporting myself and my business mostly on credit cards.
The moment it all changed for me, had nothing to do with understanding metrics, or getting a big break, or signing a killer deal.
The moment I was able to unf*ck my revenue, was when I changed my MINDSET from a basic entrepreneurial mindset to a...
Watch now and see how my change in mindset CHANGED MY LIFE!
Happiness is definitely fleeting when you're an entrepreneur...
Because to be a GREAT entrepreneur you have to have impeccably high standards for yourself which means, at least in my life, I always fall a little short of where I want to be.
And because happiness is often linked to reaching goals, since I never actually reach my true goals, I USE TO never allowed myself to be happy.
Unfortunately, most entrepreneurs fall into that exact same scenario. Not WILLINGLY, and probably not CONSCIOUSLY.
Watch now and see how I have overcome this while maintaining the never-ending drive to SUCCEED!
Tell me one great thing in your life that came without stress and anxiety happening first.
It just doesn't happen...
And it's probably the number one thing that allows entrepreneurs to get ahead when the general population will never take the same risks that are required to reach the big goals.
Watch now and see how the most successful entrepreneurs utilize STRESS and ANXIETY to FUEL THEIR GROWTH!
One of the things I've noticed with the team members inside of my companies, as well as with the people on my board of directors, and almost every other successful entrepreneur that I spend time with is that there's 1 thing in everybody's lifestyle that’s directly related to their ability to focus.
And when they fix this one thing their ability to think clearly significantly improves.
Watch now and see the 1 thing that is DIRECTLY related to how focused you are in business, and in life!
Do you know what your #1 core competency is?
Is it leadership, marketing, sales, or relationships?
Watch now and learn what YOUR #1 core competency is, and how you can use it to SUCCEED!
If you're in business and you send emails to your customers or prospects, I’m going to show you how you can make far more money and grow your business faster with one small change.
Because over the past 2 years email open rates dropped, click through rates dropped, and email conversion rates dropped.
And those are not marketing metrics, those are your prospects and customers voting with their actions and telling you they don’t like emails.
Watch this and see the TRUTH about marketing in business...
We use a formula in my companies to determine what we pay people.
And this was a game changer for us years back when we started it because everyone on your team will perform better if you pay them what they’re worth and that goes for employees, independent contractors, and vendors.
But that doesn’t mean to overpay them!
And this becomes far easier when you offer people structured bonuses along the way…
See the formula WE use in our companies to pay our employees...
I’m going to show you what my companies have been doing for the past decade to grow faster, more predictably and in a more stable way…
And I’m going to give you examples so you can see how other companies just like mine are doing the exact same things.
My goal is that by the end of this you can 2, 3 or 4x your growth by doing this same thing in your business…
So, watch now to see how YOU can 2-4x your growth by changing this 1 thing…
You need to assume that anything a prospect gets from you, or a customer buys from you, they have no idea how to use it.
This year when we started including some type of instructions (we call it a Consumption Guide) with every sale, our revenue grew, our stick rate went up, and our refunds dropped.
Because people need to be trained on how to best consume your product or service, and it needs to be SIMPLE and VISUAL.
Watch now and see how to create the BEST consumption guide, and how to tie it in to what YOU do...
It's human nature to want to take advantage of people, but you know what else is human nature... wanting to help people.
The crowd you surround yourself with is going to determine what you think is natural, and it's also going to determine what happens to you.
My suggestion is that you surround yourself with people who think the only way to get ahead is to HELP OTHERS get ahead.
Watch now and see how to surround yourself with the RIGHT people...

Watch now as I deep dive into this and how I avoid disconnects at all costs...
I did a video about how to boost your conversion immediately by eliminating something called DISCONNECTS, and we got a lot of great feedback on that video, but there’s something even worse than disconnects in your marketing…
…and that’s how damn hard it is to do business with most of you.
Listen to this as I go into detail about what I mean when I say this, and how it applies to YOU.
There's only two ways to sell anybody anything.
This goes for businesses that sell services, as well as businesses that sell products.
And it goes for companies that are doing $100,000 a year in sales, as well as companies doing $100,000 a DAY in sales, or more!
The only TWO WAYS to sell anybody ANYTHING are….
Listen now to see the only 2 ways to sell anybody, anything, that the most successful entrepreneurs use every time!
There's not one business book or one business seminar that will ever tell you the truth about entrepreneurship...
...and that's that entrepreneurs live in a constant state of overwhelm, paranoia, and solitude.
The best, most successful entrepreneurs are GREAT at hiding this, but we all feel it.
Listen now and see how the best entrepreneurs not only deal with this but use it to their advantage...
The biggest challenge most entrepreneurs have is that they’re trying to make all the decisions by themselves.
Or worse, they read books and they go to seminars, and then they try to make business decisions based on the few things they learn at events.
But when you're in business, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. You're going to hit obstacles, sometimes every day!
So, listen now and see how to make better decisions FAST, so you can avoid these obstacles as best as you possibly can.
There’s 1 thing we do in our companies that helps us convert SIGNIFICANTLY MORE leads to sales than anything else…
And that’s treat every lead… like a human.
What I mean by that is, everybody wants to be RESPECTED.
In fact, every human on the face of this earth wants 2 things, they want to feel heard, and they want to feel safe.
Listen now and hear how to do this properly and effectively...
In part 3 of this YouTube series, Chris Guerriero goes deeper into the world of Alpha and Sigma entrepreneurs.
Whether you're an Alpha, Sigma, understanding the key traits of these types of entrepreneurs can help you excel in both your personal and professional life. In business the type of entrepreneur you are dictates your success, and in this video, Chris delves into what it means to be a true alpha and sigma in business, and common traits that each of these types of people have.
As said previously, understanding the key traits of these types of entrepreneurs can help you excel in both your personal and professional life, so pull out a notepad if needed and hit that play button...
They don't teach true business growth in college. There are no books, or courses, or seminars that teach you what it feels like to be alone and have to make business decisions that determine whether or not your company grows (or stagnates, or literally crashes and burns).
And every guru in the world wants you to believe they can teach you how to build a business, and to create personal wealth, and to feel fulfilled, even though, the great majority of their wealth comes from literally teaching people those things.
It's the real estate guy, who is running business growth workshops, or the personal development speaker who wants to teach you how to start a business, or the stock trader who wants to teach you how to build a massive business, but none of them have a track record of building any business…
They might be great at the one skill that brought in the majority of their revenue, but growing a business IS UNLIKE ALL OF THAT.

I get asked how to be more productive all the time.
And I'll tell you what I tell most people, but for the most part, people don't get this, because the fastest way to become more productive is to....
Watch now and see what the fastest way to become more productive is.
There’s a big difference between how small companies market, and how BILLION-dollar companies do their marketing.
And it’s such a big difference that it gives billion-dollar company’s a massive edge, and keeps them at the top, while smaller companies are stuck in this rut competing with each other just to maintain the same level of sales, month after month after month.
And I don’t care if a smaller company is doing $1 million a year, or 10, or 30, or $50 million a year, most of them still fall into this category (not all of them) but definitely most of them, and the moment you understand this, and you shift your focus, your revenue, and your profit, and your ability to scale up grows massively.
And it’s...

I’m not going to sit here and debate whether affirmations work or don’t work.
Because there’s quite a substantial amount of people who believe that affirmations WORK, and probably the same amount who believe that affirmations don’t work.
But personally, I believe affirmations have a place in business. Even if it’s just to keep you focused on the actions you need to take to get results, or to keep you positive, knowing that when you’re positive you have more energy and you make better decisions.
But whatever you want to believe, there is one area that affirmations have been EXTREMELY helpful in my life.
So, listen now to hear me reveal and go into detail on that area…
Often the difference between somebody who lives a fulfilled life and somebody who lives a life of UNHAPPINESS is following the wrong patterns, and not knowing what the correct ones are.
Because, there's a lot of good people out there who live shitty lives, and they don't do it because they're stupid or because they're bad.
They do it because they've been INFLUENCED by the people who they surround themselves with, or because they’ve been INFLUENCED by certain patterns they've learned from places like social media.
And they fall into these PATTERNS that become comfortable for them.
Listen now and see some of these patterns and how to avoid them…
In part 2 of this YouTube series, Chris Guerriero goes deeper into the world of Alpha and Sigma entrepreneurs.
Whether you're an Alpha, Sigma, understanding the key traits of these types of entrepreneurs can help you excel in both your personal and professional life.
Unlike Alphas, Sigma entrepreneurs prefer to work independently without the support of a team. They're often referred to as lone wolves, charging towards their goals on their own.
However, both Alpha and Sigma entrepreneurs share a unique mindset that sets them apart from others in business. They both approach business with a visionary mindset, focusing on building a brand rather than just a business.
As a result, they don't just hire anyone to fill positions in their company; they develop leaders who can help take the vision to the next level.
They understand that leaders aren't always born but can be made through coaching and mentorship.
Join Chris Guerriero in this episode as he shares his insight in what makes Alpha and Sigma entrepreneurs stand out in his companies.
If you're an Alpha entrepreneur or a Sigma entrepreneur, or you're just a crazy entrepreneur who thrives in just about any environment or any economy, because you enjoy the game, it's important to understand the key traits that make up entrepreneurs either Alpha or Sigma so you can leverage them in your own life, and in the lives of your team members.
Sigma entrepreneurs are independent without a pack, and Alphas are independent within their pack. Sigma entrepreneurs can thrive on their own, so they're often called the lone wolf.
They don't need social support.
They charge towards any goals all by themselves.
Entrepreneurs, both Alpha and Sigma see businesses completely differently. They think differently, they play this game differently, and they get far bigger results. They’re the visionary, they’re not the implementer. They’re growing a brand, not a business. They don’t just hire “warm bodies” to fill spots in their company, they develop “leaders” to run things for them. And they know that leaders are sometimes not born that way. They’re made.
Listen to this episode where Chris Guerriero defines the Alpha entrepreneurs in his companies.
Most people get it all wrong when they think about making their FIRST MILLION DOLLARS, but when you know the truth, then you know what target to aim at, and because of that, you’re far more likely to reach your goal.
Here’s an example…
Most people think that if they get into business, and their business makes a million dollars, they’re a millionaire. But that’s NOT the case!
After you take out expenses and taxes and everything else, you’re not left with much, in fact, I know businesses that gross a million dollars and after all is said and done, they’re left with less than $400,000 to their bottom line, and the owner might be able to take ½ of that for himself or herself.
So, grossing a million IN YOUR BUSINESS is not the answer. And for those of you who have companies that NET a million to you, meaning that you, as the owner can take a million as distributions from your company, you know that after personal taxes (because once you take the money out of your business and put it into your personal account, you have to pay even more taxes on it) and after all that, you’re DEFINITELY not left with a million.
So, to make your FIRST MILLION DOLLARS, I’m going to suggest that you...

As owners we’re responsible for a lot:
…and as more and more money comes in, you’re ALSO responsible for investing that money in smart places, which might be investing in your personal development, or investing in your team development, or hiring a new C-level employee, or investing in a new marketing platform, or a new AI software, or in buying the building you're in so you can stop paying rent and start growing an asset…
And today I want to show you the top 7 worst business investments you could ever make.
So listen now to see what they are...
If you haven’t made the money that you want to make, or if you’re struggling financially, it’s a very good possibility that you’re making THIS ONE mistake, because there’s ONE THING in particular that most poor people, or most people who are struggling financially do badly.
And there’s a simple way to fix this, and I’ll explain that for you too, however, it’s not a fast fix. Meaning you don’t make money the same day you do this.
But I’ve never met somebody who truly understood this topic and wasn’t wealthy.
In fact, this is a lesson that we HAVE TO keep reminding ourselves, at every level of wealth, and at least every year, if not every quarter of our life, otherwise we can fall backwards very fast.
And it’s this.
This is the one thing poor people DON’T GET, that RICH people understand completely is......

There's a big difference between EXPERIENCE and EAGERNESS.
I get approached by people all the time who are extremely EAGER to work with our company.
They get excited about being able to work with a team like ours, and being in a culture like ours, and learning from us, and being part of our growth.
But if you put two people side-by-side, and one is very EAGER to help, and the other is very EXPERIENCED, I choose the experienced person every time.

Entrepreneurialism is the solution to everything in this world.
But we need stronger entrepreneurs, we need more savages in business, we need more people who are going to CARVE a New World, we need people who aren’t hiding everything they’re doing and lying about the few things that work, we need Entrepreneurialism to be a brotherhood and sisterhood or a fraternity of people who are all in the grind and growing and pulling each other up.
Because in that moment, when everyone is growing our economy immediately grows, and bad political decisions don’t affect us as much, and employment rates go up, and people begin to understand how to actually CONTRIBUTE so there’s no more of this “it’s all about me” bull****.
Entrepreneurialism is the solution to everything in this world, but it goes deeper than that.
So, listen now as I dive deeper into this...

Executive Assistant Interview Questions: https://chrisguerriero.com/personal_a...
If you’re an entrepreneur or CEO and you know your life would be EASIER, or you’d be more PRODUCTIVE if you had a great executive assistant, then I want to show you how to find and hire an executive assistant to help you grow your business, or just keep your sanity.
Because I struggled for more than a decade of my life trying to build my first business, and one of the most pivotal decisions I made, that literally took me from living on credit cards… to building a multi-million-dollar company, was to hire an executive assistant.
Executive Assistant Interview Questions: https://chrisguerriero.com/personal_a...
And yes, I hired her when I couldn’t actually afford her, but I was COMMITTED to growing.
Listen now and hear when it all started for me…
Here’s a real-life story about a guy who was in business for over eight years and struggled that whole time to get his company OVER the $1mm mark.
And I’m going to tell you the SOLUTION that helped him to go from 1 million to over… 14 million in about 12 months, after he did this one thing.
So again, he struggled for the first 8 years of his business life because he was doing one thing wrong, and when he STOPPED doing that one thing his company did over 14 times its revenue (meaning he made more in the very next year than he did in the past 14 years COMBINED), and he went from 1 million to over 14 million… and he’s kept growing after that.
So, listen now and hear what he did...
It doesn’t make a difference if you’re a business owner, or an entrepreneur with multiple businesses, or an executive in someone else’s company, in this video I’m going to show you the #1 way to be more productive starting today.
Now if this is the first time, you’re seeing one of our videos, my name is Chris Guerriero and I’ve built nearly a dozen companies, four of which are 8-figure companies.
And I’ve built leadership teams inside of each company who are rock stars at KNOWING what to do, and FOCUSING on the few actions that drive growth, so these days, my time spent working is FAR less than I used to.
Meaning I have time now for myself, and my family and for hobbies and for sharing tactics like this that have helped me the most in BUILDING, acquiring and selling companies.
And I say all that, so you know that anything I say here is based solely on EXPERIENCE, because I’m IN THE TRENCHES every day, working in my businesses, and developing leaders in each company.
And nothing I share with you is something I just read in a book and haven’t tested over and over again in multiple companies, and in multiple industries.
So, when I say that I’m going to show you how to be MORE PRODUCTIVE, what I’m saying is that I’m going to show you the TOP PRODUCTIVITY HACK that I personally use to run 11 successful companies when most people struggle to run one…
So, listen now and hear more…
I’m not sure if you’ve heard of the new mandatory SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION RE-TRAINING issues that are popping up. But for anyone who’s been following, you could see that personalities like Jordan Peterson are being asked to go through mandatory re-education and social media training, basically because they’re NOTICING what’s happening in reality, and commenting on it in their social media.
And because they have a decent sized following, they’re on the radar and if they say anything that’s against a governing law, they’re being asked to go through something that is quite honestly one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard of online. And that’s saying a lot…

So, this topic is TABOO to speak about in most circles, and, legally speaking, I’m sure there’s going to be some attorneys who see this video and have a lot to say about drugs in the workplace. And most of them will tell me that what I did would be considered illegal in their state.
But trust me when I tell you that I did this with the FULL BLESSING of our law team AND our HR department, and we followed all the right guidelines to handle this properly…
But we recently fired somebody for using drugs.

The amount of success you have TODAY with your work, the amount of success you have THIS WEEK with accomplishing your goals, the amount of success you have THIS MONTH, this quarter, this year, is either limited by, or accelerated by your belief… Your belief in YOURSELF. your belief in your ABILITY, and your belief in THOSE around you.
And you hear a lot of gurus talk about believing in YOURSELF, but that’s not good enough. To grow a business, to scale a company, to achieve greatness in any area of your life, you need to work on: FIRST your belief in yourself, and SECOND your belief in your abilities (meaning: to do what it takes to persist through the obstacles and reach your targets), and THIRD you need to believe in those around you, which means surrounding yourself with people who will support you and help you grow.
People who have already achieved what you want to achieve, so it’s easy for you to believe in them, even when you do not YET see a clear path to reaching your target.
So how do we do this? Listen now and see…
I’m fully aware that being alone is one of the hardest parts of being an entrepreneur… And staying late at the office or waking up early because you’ve got so much on your mind or having so many decisions to make and nobody in your life who actually understands everything that you're going through...
But being alone doesn’t really affect me like it affects most people. I’m okay with being alone in the car when I’m driving and letting my brain wander and coming up with concepts and solutions without the radio on and without anything else playing. I’m okay with being alone in the house for an entire night, or days, or even weeks. Hell, I get a lot done when that happens.
And it’s not that I prefer to be alone, it’s that when I am alone, I become hyper productive, and I get a lot accomplished because my brain doesn’t get depressed, it gets clear...and I focus on things that I can get done.
So, listen now, and let me go deeper into this…
At this point, we have thousands of hours of content on YouTube or Instagram or LinkedIn or iTunes and Spotify, or everywhere else on social right now.
But I’m want to go back to one tried and true statement that I’ve made since day one. And it’s been a theme, throughout all the companies that I’ve built.
In fact, we can peel back hundreds of millions of dollars from now all the way back to when I started saying this. And it's something that I’ve been instilling in every C level player and every leader inside of our organizations.
And that’s: The people who are changing the world are not usually the ones who are reading all the books, and I realize that every time I say this, I get a lot of flak in the comments, and with emails coming into my office…

Not long ago I shot a video that showed how to avoid culture killers, and in it, one of the things I spoke about was how to know when an employee or team member is no longer a good fit for your company.
And more importantly I laid out a game plan for how to POLITELY terminate your relationship with them before they infect the rest of your team.
Anyway, since then, we’ve had a lot of questions about how to know when it’s time to cut someone loose, and also a handful of long drawn out posts from people who are employees, and wanted to share all the issues they have with their boss being able to fire them... but in the real world, a good company does EVERYTHING they can to keep great team members, but every company also has the responsibility to everyone else on their team to fire those who are dragging the rest down.
So, I wanted to spend just a moment and speak about this. So, listen now and let me go deeper into this.

Over the years I've come to believe that our first thought in the morning determines our success for that day.
And that's not to say that you can't wake up tired and still have a kickass day, or that you can't have a negative thought in your head at all.
But when you consciously do something that implants but quality guiding thought in your head first thing in the morning, I have found that the rest of my day it's usually more productive. So listen now and let me dig deeper into this...

Ever wonder what your team actually thinks about you?
Listen, you could do something perfectly in business 10 times, and most of your team will think that you're getting it right because you own the company, or they’ll think that you’re working hard just because you're the boss.
On the other hand, if you mess up JUST ONCE in front of your team, that will be the standard, that’ll be what they believe is acceptable from that point forward until it’s literally trained out of them.
I’ll give you a very simple analogy that I think will help make this super clear, because I think that understanding this helps us to be significantly better leaders, and it also helps us to develop leaders underneath us almost automatically.
And the example is... showing up ON TIME.
Listen now, and let me take a deeper dive into this…
I have a friend named Tyler, who’s a very well known gamer in the video game industry.
And believe it or not he plays video games for a living, and he does it so well he gets paid a tremendous amount of money and lives in a big compound he calls his “gaming compound”. And he and I were talking earlier this week, and he explain to me his theory on life. And about how we are all living in a simulation.
And I use to call BS on that whole theory when I heard anybody else speak about it until he explained it to me. Because the way he explained it made a tremendous amount of sense.
The way he puts it is we’re all living in a simulation, and the creator of this simulation put specific rules in place, and as long as the characters live by those rules, things go their way.
For example, when character walks slowly, or talks slowly, they get less accomplished.
And when a character walks faster and talks faster they get more accomplished, and the game rewards them for that. But he went a lot deeper into how the game rewards players who think positive thoughts, and who consistently take positive actions.
So, listen now, and let me dig deeper into this...
Nearly every billionaire who speaks on stage or at universities tells people to do something that is absolutely wrong.
And I know this because, over the years I’ve had a good fortune of becoming friends with some amazingly successful people in the business world, and in the music industry, and in the entertainment field. Many of them are the exact people who have made those same speeches. Billionaires and CEOs of some of the most prominent brands in the world.
And when I’m just sitting with them having dinner, or discussing business, what they say behind closed doors, or what they say when the camera is not on, is amazingly different than what they say from stage.
Because from stage, they tell everybody to follow their passion. Yet, with very few exceptions, I have never met somebody who became highly successful following their passion.
And looking back on MY PAST, and the conversations with these friends of mine about how we’ve become successful, it’s never been about following our passion, it’s always been about finding what we’re good at and doing that.
So, listen now and let me dig deeper into this...
I was having dinner about a month ago with a friend who built a billion-dollar company and then “temporarily” retired and is now part of another company that's closing the gap on the billion-dollar mark AGAIN.
And about halfway through dinner he told me where the majority of his success came from. And this something that comes up a lot when I hang with friends, and it’s something that’s made a BIG difference in my life as well….
He said the majority of his success can be traced back NOT to new product launches, or to a specific person hired, or a big acquisition he made, but before any of those things happened, was a moment of SILENCE.
So, listen now and let me show you the importance of silence in business…
How much do you know about the stability of your business?
I mean, really, what's the stability of your: revenue, or your customer acquisition, or your ability to not only keep growing, but to grow at an impressive rate?
Think about that, because anybody who's REALLY been watching knows that we’ve had a pretty good run when it comes to business. Probably for the last decade or a little more than a decade. And if you look back in history and really study business trends, what you find is that there’s a cycle of decades (or every 10 to 15 years), that there’s either an upswing or downswing in buying patterns and business growth.
So, I want to talk about today is stability in business, so when all hell breaks loose, or when the economy drops out, or when you can’t get employees to show up for work, your business is more likely to be one of those that keeps growing.
Because if you’ve been running a business without focusing on stability, which includes having a clear target, clear guidelines, and clear systems that help you keep growing through all the ups and downs. Then what you have, is like a car that’s running out of gas.
So, listen now and let me show you how to create stability in your business…

See how much to pay employees and get your FREE customized business productivity blueprint: https://BuiltToGrowReview.com
So, I posted on Instagram details on how much I pay our employees. And apparently, that's a topic that a lot of people want to know about, because that post triggered more emails into my office than any other social post I’ve ever made.
So, I wanted to go a little bit deeper and give you details on how I pay team members, but more specifically, how to determine if (and when) someone gets a raise or a bonus, AND how much they get. Now everybody on our team knows that when it comes to knowing how much to pay employees, there's 3 THINGS THAT HAVE TO HAPPEN for them to get a raise or a bonus. And probably the most valuable way for me to show you this is by using a case study…
So, let's take John for example. John’s been with us for 4 years, and he knows that, because of the position he holds in the company, he gets a 15% raise in his pay every year, assuming these three things happen. First JOHN has to meet or exceed HIS financial targets for the year.
Next, John's DEPARTMENT needs to meet or exceed their financial targets for the year. And finally, the COMPANY needs to meet or exceed our targets for the year. Watch this video where I detail exactly how this played out for John… …because most people try to complicate this - but in reality, it’s super easy, and it lets everyone on our team know exactly what to expect when it comes to employee pay.
And when everybody knows exactly what to expect, there's a lot less BS around people’s pay. So, watch now and let me show you how this plays out…

One of the easiest ways to be INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY in business and in life is to cut THIS ONE THING out of your day. …and I didn’t realize I was doing this in my life until I noticed more and more of my friends doing it and then I saw that it was a staple in my life, and probably one of the most profound things that was triggering success and allowing me to build multiple companies, and to create the kind of wealth I wanted.
But before I show you this simple productivity hack, I have to tell you that UNDERNEATH this trait is the desire to BUILD SOMETHING FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND US. Like our family, or our future generations, or even the world.
So, keep that in mind because when you see this video, you might mistakenly think I’m telling you it’s not important to do those things, but in reality, it’s ALL ABOUT building things for yourself AND those you love.
Because the single productivity trait that has driven the majority of success and productivity in my life, and in the lives of other people in my circle, is our ability to limit or to avoid most forms of entertainment.

If you're an entrepreneur and you're looking to grow your business to seven, or eight, or even nine figures in the shortest time possible, then understanding how to successfully buy companies is great way to scale almost any business fast, and also to massively increase your profit margin, if done right.
Now, if this is the very first time you're seeing one of my episodes, my name is Chris Guerriero. And I built nearly a dozen businesses, four of which are eight figure companies. I've also bought and sold companies in a variety of different industries.
I know that buying a business is initially kind of scary for some people. And it probably should be, because there's a lot that could go wrong. Unless, of course, you know how to do it, right. Which is part of what I want to go over here today. Because if you know how to do it, then the risk is far less. And the upside is just so much better. In fact, these days, I wouldn't buy a company or even invest in one unless I thought that I had a very high chance of making it a big win for everybody involved.
One of the main tools that I use to figure this out is a series of questions in twelve different categories. I’m going to share those categories as well as the questions so that you have a really good understanding of how we go out in there and evaluate companies before potential purchase. Plus how you can too, if buying a business sounds good to you.
If you're an entrepreneur, you want to know how to grow your business to six, or seven or eight figures in the shortest time possible. Then in this episode, I want to share with you one of my top strategies to successfully scale any business fast, and predictably increase your profit margins.
Now, if this is the first time you've seen one of my episodes, my name is Chris Guerriero. And I built four 8-figure businesses, successfully sold several companies. And I've also invested in growing companies as well. And all of this gives me a very unique insight into strategies that grow businesses every time they're used no matter what size your company is right now, or what industry you're in or what the economy is like.
I want to detail one of the best strategies we've used to scale companies fast. And it costs far less and takes far less time than most of the really old tactics that you read about in books.
Listen in now.
Have you ever wondered what mistakes businesses commonly make on their way to massive revenue breakthroughs? In my first business I spent nearly 10 years struggling to grow the business, but now I have discovered the number one mistake businesses make in trying to achieve massive revenue growth. In today's video I cover the mistake to avoid in your business plus talk about how this advice can lead to massive business growth when applied correctly.
Want to be the a great leader, fast? There’s a lot of books out there about how to be a great leader, and also a lot of misconceptions about what makes a person a great leader.
But in reality, there’s only a handful of traits that all great leaders have.
Whether it’s a leader in business, or it’s the leader in the family, or it’s a political leader, or it’s the leader of a sports team. I dive into those more in a previous episode.
But today I'm covering the leadership trait that most people fall short with and tends to be the hardest to learn.
This simple concept provides a wonderful filter when you're trying to weed out poor leaders from your team - or if you want to bee seen a strong great leader yourself.
I've been asked to share a lesson I learned in business that I believe was a big help to my early success.
It's a piece of advice I normally don't say to most start-ups, because I don't want to de-motivate them.
Success is what we all work for... because we believe everything's going to be sunshine and rainbows and unicorns.
But you know when success hits because it feels like you've been hit in the face. Success actually can be scary as hell in the beginning. Because now there's a massive expectation that you need to fulfill as the leader of your company.
Learn the business tip to help make success more predictable and less scary in this episode.
Have you ever wondered if there is one skill to guarantee your success in business?
Most businesses grows in chunks. Unfortunately, as these companies GROW – then they experience a CORRECTION, then they grow again, and correct again.
It’s literally a rollercoaster of growth spurts. And that causes PLATEAUS… and also a loss of motivation in your team.
So, if you’ve ever hit a plateau in your growth then this skill could be a game changer for you.
Today I’m revealing the best way we’ve found to experience steady predictable growth year over year in every industry I’m involved in.
While this is a hard business skill to master, it will pay off forever.
What do you do to keep yourself motivated to succeed?
If you go to my website there is a link at the top of the page to ask me questions, and we get hundreds of questions a week.
What’s interesting is that, the great majority of people who follow me on social, or on any platform, are business people… some of them are SMALL business people… some of them have SEVEN OR EIGHT figure companies, and some of them are CEOs of MULTI-BILLION dollar international brands.
So, you would think that the majority of the questions I get asked would be BUSINESS TACTICS, or team development tactics, or how to develop yourself as a leader.
But the number one question is almost consistently…. How Do You Stay Motivated To Succeed?
And I think it’s amazing question, because it doesn’t matter what level you’re at in business, your ability to stay motivated to succeed is DIRECTLY RELATED to how well you “FOCUS” in business… which is directly related to the results you get in business.
So let's dive in...
There’s a BIG difference between STUPIDITY, and IMMATURITY.
STUPIDITY IS A LACK OF INTELLIGENCE.
IMMATURITY IS A LACK OF EXPERIENCE.
The difference is that… a stupid person can be EDUCATED BEYOND BELIEF but they don’t have the intelligence to use that education. So the more time you spend with stupid people (people who talk about politics, or business, or anything, without first doing the due diligence, and actually understanding the topic they’re talking about) the worse decisions you make.
Stupid people go out there and will swear the sky is blue one day and convince everybody that it’s blue, and then the next day (because they red an article by another stupid person) they swear it’s green, and they try to convince everybody around them that the sky is green. And they will argue all day every day about something that they have no ability to justify, or any substantiation to prove, just because it’s the most dominant thought in their head at that moment.
We’ve all met people like this!
On the other hand…
IMMATURE PEOPLE simply don’t have the experience.
So which is better for your to accept into your life or your business?
Dive into today's episode to hear!
Most companies fall into one of two categories when it comes to hiring employees:
Either they put an ENORMOUS amount of time and money into attracting, and interviewing, and hiring, and training people.
Or they think hiring the right people takes so much time and money that they do the absolute minimum just to get by – which is by putting ads online, and interviewing a bunch of candidates, and then just hiring the best FROM THAT SMALL GROUP OF APPLICANTS.
Both can work.
But one’s very costly and one’s way too risky.
In today's episode, I’m going to give you a few keys to show you how we develop strong, motivated, loyal teams inside of each of my companies, and this works for startups as well as high 8-figure businesses.
Because hiring just one wrong person for a job, can be a financial disaster - and can quickly become a VIRUS that spreads through your team – and that slows or STOPS your growth completely.
So listen in and if you follow these tips – you will be LIGHT YEARS ahead of most other companies.
Nothing great happens in life without first putting in the work to get MOMENTUM. Depending on which path you’re gaining momentum on, dictates whether you’re going to get positive or negative results.
And SO OFTEN, PEOPLE WORK JUST FOR THE SAKE OF WORK, and don’t stop long enough to see if that work is bringing them closer to the results they actually want. That’s why so many people, work for years, and are never satisfied with WHAT they have in life – it’s because they worked on things… that created momentum in the wrong direction.
And if they just took a moment, from time to time, to look at where their momentum was pushing them – they would have been able to coarse correct and get FAR FAR more out of their time. MORE SUCCESS MORE REVENUE MORE NET PROFITS IN THEIR BUSINESS AND MORE HAPPINESS IN LIFE
So How Do You Get Momentum? In today's episode, we’ll get more clear on this and then I’ll show you EXACTLY what we do inside of my companies to analyze if our actions are moving us along the fastest path to get us to our goals… or to hit whatever target we have.
This goes for any business, in any economy, in any industry, and it also relates to anything you want to achieve in life.
The term marketing is kind of outdated.
In the “start-up” world and also in the new business world, marketing is really thought of as just plain.. advertising.
High growth businesses more often use the term GROWTH to define scaling their businesses. And there’s a big difference between “marketing”, and “GROWTH” in business.
Marketing is POTENTIAL… and Growth is ACTUAL.
So how do you best leverage Growth for your business and what are the necessary steps and metrics to ensure your growth oriented and not just looking at marketing efforts?
In today's episode Chris breaks down exactly what business owners need to know to be a high growth business focused on scaling.
There are two key things to think about when you're thinking about starting a business.
In today's episode, I'm breaking them down for those of you who might be working at a job and thinking about stating your own business either INSTEAD OF… or IN ADDITION TO your current job.
But there’s another group of people who this podcast is so important for…
It’s entrepreneurs who already have a business, and they’re trying to figure out if NOW is the right time to start a second business.
And the answer to both is the same. Listen in to see when the best time to start your first or next business is.
What We Focus On… Determines Our Results… Very few people understand exactly what that means, because everybody in this world has the same handful of things they need to focus on in order to be great, it’s just very rare that somebody understand this concept and knows what you should be focusing on in order to make your life easier.
Today I break down a clear cut example of how your focus dictates your actions and results and how this applies to your life and business.
PLUS the important thing as an entrepreneur, business owner, or high level leader you need be evaluating and rotating this coming year and beyond.
The amount of success you have today with your work… the amount of success you have this week with accomplishing your goals… the amount of success you have this month this quarter, this year… is either limited by, or accelerated by your belief…
Your belief in YOURSELF. your belief in your ABILITY. And your belief in THOSE around you.
And you hear a lot of gurus talk about believing in YOURSELF. But that’s not good enough.
My success in life, both personally and professionally came very slow in the beginning, until I started to believe in MYSELF, and my ABILITIES, and the PEOPLE around me. And it took a long time to do, because I didn’t understand how to do it.
But if you start with the 3 areas we covered in this podcast, you’re decades ahead of where I was.
What you’ll find is that when you begin to believe in yourself AND those around you, you won’t have nearly as much stress, and you’ll be significantly happier in every area of your life, and the amount of success you have in business and financially will start to amaze you.
Is there a way to know if an employee is about to start under performing? Is there a way to prevent it?
While most employee performance is related to the individual there is a tell-tell trait you're headed for a disaster and the simple solution you can follow to ensure your current rock stars don't head down the same path.
That's what we're diving into in today's episode.
I think there’s a lot of ways to tell if an employee is a poor performer, or if they’re about to become a poor performer. But without a doubt I’d say that – even without knowing someone personally – there’s traits that I’m hypersensitive to, because I know they’re traits of someone who’s probably going to slow things down for the other people in my company.
And the biggest one - I call – the tennis player.
Which is someone on your team – whether they’re an employee or a vendor or an independent contractor – who always finds a way to lob the ball back into my court.
So if they get handed a project, instead of taking ownership of that project and getting it done… they come back and tell me all the things they need before they can get started…
…or if they get a task to do, they ALWAYS seem to require someone else on the team to take an action BEFORE they take action…
And I’ll give you an example of this…
When I first started in business, I went through a bunch of personal assistants, because, I didn’t know how to find one that would literally make me more productive… but it was a process, and I learned a little from every assistant I had, and finally I found Emily – who’s now been with me for nearly 18 years.
But I remember one of my first assistant was a “tennis player” – I’d ask her to set up meetings for me, and she’d first need ME to send her all the contact details for each person in the meeting… instead of taking a minute herself, and figuring out how to log in and get those details… OR…
I remember asking her to order a new chair for my office – and I told her the kind I wanted, the color I wanted, and I thought I gave her everything she needed to get it for me by the end of the week… so she should have been able to order it THAT DAY… but during our morning meeting the FOLLOWING day, she brought pictures… now you have to understand - there weren’t multiple chairs to choose from – she brought pictures of the ONLY chair they had that fit what I wanted, so I could see it before she ordered it (lobbing the ball back in my court).
Now you might think she was just trying to do a good job and make sure she ordered the exact chair I wanted /// But it didn’t stop there. Because after I saw the picture and REMINDED her that I wanted the chair by the end of the week….
Instead of CALLING the company and ordering the chair – instead she EMAILED the company and asked if they had one in stock /// and waited a day for their reply, then came to our FRIDAY meeting and told me about how great the customer support is at that company, and she told me about the several emails they had back and forth (lobbing the ball back and forth), and her next questions literally made my eye twitch…
Because on Friday – the day we discussed having the chair already in my office, she said, “they wanted to know if I would like to finance the chair” and then she told me about the new finance option they have where I don’t have to pay anything for the first few months if I qualify!!!!!
Needless to say – that assistant did NOT make me more productive, and I did NOT get that chair that week.
Here’s what I did… I picked up the phone and called the company while she sat in my office… and I ordered the chair myself and had it rushed so it arrived by Monday.
And even though she did not last long in our employment, still to this day, when I sit in that chair I think of her (but not in a bad way :) I’m just grateful for everyone else on my team who are rock stars! Who take a project and run with it – thinking outside the box, getting creative if necessary – and getting it done.
A tennis player in business, is someone who keeps lobbing the ball back into your court, and never takes ownership of getting DONE what needs to be DONE.
And by the way – that’s a trait that is NOT exclusive to a new employee – your current team can fall into that RUT as well.
That’s why we celebrate everyone on our team for doing the DAILY tasks that help us reach our targets. Because when someone goes too long, without being celebrated or acknowledged for the good things they’re doing – they either become tennis players on your team, or they start posting their resume and looking for another business to work for where their hard work will be noticed.
How many times do you get asked the question: What Do You Do For A Living?
And how many times have you struggled with a great answer, and finally just said something like “I’m an entrepreneur?” or I’m a businessperson, or I own a restaurant?
For some of us – it’s a tough question.
When I first started in business and used to go to personal development seminars, people would always introduce themselves to me and they’d tell me they’re an “I’m An Entrepreneur”…usually on their way to becoming a millionaire or a billionaire.
And I built this AVERSION to the word entrepreneur, because I didn’t want to be clumped into that type of person who seemed to be ‘talking… more than taking action’.
Inside this episode I dig into what I found out about how I defined what I did for a living, especially as I had more and more successes in life, I met more people who were at the next level… in BUSINESS, and with their FINANCES, and their PERSONAL LIFE.
Plus, my advice to you on the simple change that can create massive impact on the results we get in life and can even recreate your destiny.
This advice is a pivot point for most of the best entrepreneurs, and CEOs, and business owners that I know. So, take a moment with me right now and really consider what WORD you define yourself as, or what WORD other people use to introduce you.
And if you get something BIG out of this exercise, then please share this podcast with someone you know, and subscribe to this podcast because the next few episodes are going to be TACTICS that every high growth entrepreneur needs to know about.
In this episode I’m going to share with you How To Get Money To Start and Grow Your Business. Without a doubt – one of the best ways to FUND THE GROWTH of your company is by running INTERNAL PROMOTIONS that fund the next phase of your growth.
But what happens when you’re ready for outside money?
…and how do you know IF you’re ready to work with an investor? …and what kind of an investor is right for you?
Well, that’s what we’re going to cover today…
Are you looking for Smart Money – meaning that the person or group funding you… also brings SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE or KEY RELATIONSHIPS that they’re going to leverage to help you scale.
At the very least – you need to know 5 things that I will go over in this video, and THEN… I will go over what you need to be able to CLEARLY and SUCCINCTLY prove to someone in a few minutes.
And by the way… if you’ve been in business for more than a couple of years, you should know this stuff already… and if you don’t YET know all of that… I promise that after you do this exercise – you will GROW in size, and PROFIT, and reach – even without any additional investment.
But - I’ve had people approach me with far less then this information asking for funding, and I’ve also had people approach me with far far more information and after hearing hundreds of pitches – let me tell you the secret…
When you know how to grow effectively, then scaling your business, and funding your growth - becomes predictable. The very first step is to review where you are and what needs to be fixed RIGHT NOW at the stage that you're at today, which is most likely different than the things that needed to be fixed six months ago or a year ago.
So, I want to give you free access to the tool we use to monitor my companies…
It’s the Built To Grow Review. And if you use the link in the description or go to http://BuiltToGrowReview.com/123 you can get FREE access to it.
In this podcast I’m going to share with you my business success story and how to be MORE successful in business.
I keep getting asked to share my business success story, so today I’m going to give you a 30,000ft view of my story and 3 easy steps I learned that have helped me to be more successful in business and in life.
After building nearly a dozen successful companies and learning most of the biggest lessons the hard way and most expensive way and after investing in and advising hundreds of other companies that have doubled, or tripled, or quadrupled, and some more than 10 or 30 x’ed their growth rate, I can definitely say there are 3 steps that will make you more successful in business.
Understanding what I share in this video can be the difference between your company growing at the rate you deserve to grow, or constantly hitting the ceiling to your growth because either you have too high of a payroll, or you have one or two poor hires, and those employees are literally ANCHORS holding the rest of your team back.
The 3 steps to be more successful in business are:
✅ Companies That Scale Rapidly Almost Always Grow Their Team Slower
✅ Successful Companies Spend Less Money On Customer Acquisition Early On
✅ Successful Companies Launch Products Earlier

How To Find The BEST Executive Assistant *** Start Here ⇒ https://bit.ly/GreatExecutiveAssistant In this episode I share why finding the right executive assistant can impact your company in a BIG WAY. If you’re an executive or an entrepreneur and you know you could be more productive, and get more done, and probably leave work earlier – IF you just had someone you can trust to handle all the small stuff then I’m here to tell you that the secret to scaling companies in a big way is being able to focus on the FEW KEY ACTIONS that move the needle the most. Which is why having an executive assistant can make all the difference. The challenge is that, as we grow, there’s so many little distractions that we literally get used to being a SOLUTION in our businesses, rather than being the DRIVER of growth. You can’t be both. I tried for MANY years. No business grows as fast as it could grow, if it’s led by someone who’s still solving problems. That doesn’t mean that you can offload ALL problems of course! It means that your time, and your focus and your mental bandwidth absolutely MUST be dedicated to SCALING THE COMPANY. But the real growth in business comes VERY FAST after you offload all those smaller distractions onto someone who’s sole focus is to make you more productive. And for me that was an executive assistant. Watch this video until the end to learn my exact bulletproof method to hire a great executive assistant for you and your business. I really hope you enjoy this episode on how to find the BEST executive assistant and the REAL secret to scaling companies in a BIG Way. In this episode I will give you examples of how complexity can kill EVERYTHING, and how keeping things SIMPLE can drastically accelerate your growth.
When you make things too complex your revenue and your profits ALWAYS go down, and your team or your culture ALWAYS suffers. And that’s what happens to most businesses – because they read a ton of books, and listen to people who are getting paid for IDEAS instead of being willing to share true EXPERIENCE. Having too many IDEAS… is literally HELL to a real businessperson. If you want to learn ANYTHING in business – you DON’T look to a friend who built one business and still struggles – you look for EXPERIENCE from people who have built MULTIPLE - SUCCESSFUL companies, and each time they scale their companies faster and more predictably.
If you want to know what some of the fastest growing companies analyze and track in order to keep their finger on the pulse of their growth, make sure to watch this full video and if you want to see that list, you can download it on the front page of my website at https://chrisguerriero.com.
You can have it completely FREE. Just check out the website and as of the filming of this video – it was still there. It’s right on the home page – and it’ll give you deep insight into what fast growing companies track. And you’ll notice it’s very detailed – but there’s NOTHING complex on it…

If you want to know how to be a leader – there’s 3 traits of EVERY great leader you need to know about.
These are leadership traits that can be leveraged to drastically improve the results you get in almost every area of your life, especially as it relates to being the leader of a business.
✅ How To Be A Leader - Leadership Trait #1: GREAT LEADERS LEAD BY EXAMPLE Great leaders know that whatever it is that you want in any relationship, whether it’s with your employees, or your business partners, or your friends and family – whatever you want, you’ll get it far faster if you lead by example and GIVE IT first.
✅ How To Be A Leader - Leadership Trait #2: GREAT LEADERS GET OTHERS TO TRUST IN THEIR CREDIBILITY Great leaders are constantly planting seeds in their life, and creating track records of doing certain things, so when they ask those same things of others – they have the credibility that goes hand in hand with a proven track record.
✅ How To Be A Leader - Leadership Trait #3: GREAT LEADERS MAKE EVERYBODY WHO FOLLOWS THEM BELIEVE THAT, BY FOLLOWING THEM, THEIR LIFE WILL BE BETTER.
To summarize, if you want to know how to be a leader, you need to know that being a great leader means LEADING BY EXAMPLE, and BUILDING CREDIBILITY IN YOURSELF and your cause, and creating a message that makes those around you feel like THEIR LIVES WILL BE BETTER by understanding what you’re saying.
Now being a great leader goes far deeper than just those 3 things, and I’ve covered leadership in much greater detail in other videos, but without these 3 traits NO leader will last.

It doesn’t make a difference if you’re a business owner, or an entrepreneur with multiple businesses, or an executive in someone else’s company, in this video I’m going to show you the #1 way to be more productive starting today.
In this episode I’m going to show you how to be more productive in business and top productivity hacks for business owners. I’m going to show you the top productivity hack that I personally use to run 11 successful companies when most people struggle to run one and it’s the same thing each of the leaders in my companies use to stay highly productive and I guarantee you that it’s not something you’ve ever heard before.
Now there’s a hundred skills you need to be productive and grow a business. Anyone who tells you can grow a business by reading a couple books, or by having a good idea, or by just knowing how to sell something, is lying to you. There is no shortcut, and there’s nobody who’s going to do the work for you.
The real dream, the one that I live, the one that everyone who sits on my board of directors lives, the one that anyone I know who is truly successful lives is having more than enough money to do what you want, when you want, BECAUSE you put the time into build something worthwhile.
I’m not saying that growing a business is as easy as watching some videos what I am saying, is that when you have access to THE RIGHT INFORMATION, it’ll open your eyes to how much growth you truly can experience. And that’s a very scary place for some people.
The message I’m hoping you take from this episode, is that it’s OK to be afraid in business but only for a minute. Today is your day to sprint ahead. I really hope you enjoyed this video on How To Be More Productive In Business.

If you are an entrepreneur and you want to know how to grow your business to 6, 7 or even 8 figures in the shortest time possible, then in this episode I want to share with you one of my top strategies to successfully scale ANY business fast… and PREDICTABLY increase your profit margins.
One of the simplest ways to grow your business and scale any company is using a process called Lateral Expansion. It’s not EASY, but it’s simple – meaning that if you follow a proven system like what I’ll show you here – you WILL get results.
And when we’re talking about Lateral Expansion to grow your business – those results could collapse time frames and help you scale more in one quarter than most companies scale in a decade.
The easiest way to define LATERAL EXPANSION – is to start by defining VERTICAL EXPANSION.
Because they’re two totally different ways to grow a company.
VERTICAL EXPANSION is the basic price of entry in business, and it’s what almost every business focuses on when they want to grow – they focus on increasing prospects, and increasing sales, and increasing LTV of customers.
And all those things are vital pieces of scaling a company, but they all cost a lot of money and take a lot of time to test…
LATERAL EXPANSION – on the other hand - is thinking outside of the box and using tools that most businesses either don’t know about, or don’t believe are possible, or just plain forget to use.
There’s several ways we’ve used Lateral Expansion to grow businesses and scale companies in my portfolio over the years – the 3 most common for us are:
Acquisitions
Building a Complimentary Company That Grows Your Current Company
Adding a Branding Asset That Massively Increases Your “Reach”.
Make sure you listen to this episode until the end to also hear about real life examples and tell me in the comments if you’ve ever heard of lateral expansion to grow your business.

FOLLOW THIS RULE AND EXPERIENCE MASSIVE GROWTH!!!
Every single action that we take, Everything that is important inside of our company we have three ways to grow from. Revenue, Reach and Relationships!
Now we can't do those three exact things with every Process, however, we can use them as a way to benefit from every Action that we take. Even if our Team fails at a task, our aim is set on these three points in order to benefit in some way or another from EVERY Business Interaction with our company.
Let's take marketing for an example. Most companies look at marketing as way to increase their direct sales. It's the "If I put a dollar in, I want a dollar out" mentality. Why wouldn't you have this mindset?! If I put a dollar in... I want FIVE dollars out, even TEN! but as you know business doesn't work like that.
Sometimes it takes weeks even months to become ROI Positive on a marketing investment. Sometimes it doesn't ever happen! But if you're doing things right, you're company can still benefit from these encounters and use them to Grow.
By funneling the people were marketing too into a website or phone number where your team can collect valuable information such as Email addresses and Phone Numbers.
Once you have this data from your target audience, you can follow up and start to build trust and develop long lasting relationships.
It's Very Important to NEVER spam the people on your collected list and flood them with annoying sales emails. This is a fantastic way to get yourself or your company on their blocked list.
You won't be able to convert every single prospect into a sale. Even after time invested and relationships built. Sometimes the fit just isn't right for whatever reason that may be. However, since you're doing your marketing right, you are building relationships with ALL prospects, which can benefit in other ways besides direct sales.
Referrals are a great way to take advantage of the relationships that Do Not increase revenue directly. You can ask prospects to refer your business or company to people in their lives that they think ARE a good fit for you. Since you've put in the time and energy and made these people trust you. Most of them will be more than happy to refer you to a potential client. This method has generated a tremendous amount of sales for our companies that would have never happened if it weren't for this strategy.
You can also market other people product's using affiliate links and bring in a Massive amounts of income you wouldn't have seen otherwise.

Should You Hire A Virtual or In house Team
Building your team is one of the most important things you can do to ensure a successful future for your company. Whether it be a part-time freelancer who never even comes to the office or a 20 year veteran of your team. EVERY team member is important and should be treated as such. Often times the best solution or fit for the job might be to hire a "Virtual Team member. Chris goes over the pro's and con's of each option and discusses the 6 KEY rules to follow when hiring a Virtual Employee.
Organizational chart (Process Org Chart) - When done right it will clearly show you who your best hire is and whether or not they need to be in or out of the office.
Weekly meetings are a MUST with all of our employee's no matter what their role. A phone call does not cut it! These weekly meetings with individuals are all done by video chat. Seeing a person as you're talking with them helps to build trust and confidence in your relationship.
One on One call's with employees in your company. This could be scheduled for a variety of reasons. Often times during the week you might need an answer from someone on your team. If that person is a virtual employee and doesn't work in the office face to face with you, it can be easier to set up a quick One on One phone call or video chat. this way you don't have to wait hour's sometimes day's for the answer that you need.
Daily or Weekly Written updates.
This is to highlight the things that our employee is doing right, as well as find out how we can improve the area's that are lacking. This is also a time for us to ask questions and get to know our team member's struggles.
Quarterly Goals - It's important to have quarterly goals determined for both individuals as well as teams. This way everyone can hold each other accountable and motivate one another to reach our target.
Annual meetings - face to face with the WHOLE TEAM. Once a year Everyone on our team no matter where they live in the world will be flown out to a location for somewhat of a "retreat". Getting everybody together in one location has tremendous effects on the way the team functions as a whole. The closer you and your team members feel connected, the more productive everyone will be as a whole. Imagine if the "USA" Olympic basketball team only got together to play as a team THE DAY OF their big game? Even if each individual was already extremely talented, chances are... Unless they have played together before the "Synergy" just isn't there. Now take that same team, except this time they practiced together in person at least several times a year. Which team do you think would win?? EASY! obviously, the team that has played together before!
Any size company can experience significant growth by adding one good person even if they’re running crappy systems. What you cannot do is grow your company with great systems and crappy people.

TO EXPERIENCE SIGNIFICANT SCALE THIS YEAR... 📲

==========================================
Time spent developing smart leaders has possibly been the most lucrative time I’ve ever spent in any business.
There is no Secret Sauce to Building seven and eight-figure Companies.
There’s no magic wand there’s no “if you just do this one thing if you just read this one book if you just go to this one seminar you’re going to know what it takes to build a strong company”
Being a smart business leader does not work like that.
Here are Four Proven Ways that we use in every single one of our Businesses whether I am an investor, advisor or partner owner of the company, whatever it is.
Specifically, these four ways are what really move our companies forward and help to promote Exponential Growth day in and day out.
1️⃣ Leadership Teams - One of the reasons I can normally go into any company and scale it 2, 3 or 4x its growth curve is because we start by building a strong set of strategic values because strategic values attract the right people. Any size company can experience significant growth by adding one good person even if they’re running crappy systems. What you cannot do is grow your company with great systems and crappy people.
2️⃣ Proven Systems - There are proven systems for every single thing that you're going to do inside of a business, Literally! So why would you not use proven systems to help make the process smoother?
3️⃣ What To Measure - Most entrepreneurs and CEO’s get stuck measuring the wrong things – so they can never WIN because their targets are all wrong. Most companies aim to increase revenue by a little each year. We look to increase market share because when we control more of our market, our revenue scales far faster and we attract better talent, and really everything becomes easier to grow.
4️⃣ Right Guidance - Having the ability to reach out to certain people can MAKE or BREAK potential opportunities in your life. Asking questions to the right individuals can collapse YEARS of efforts for you and your company.

3 Rules to 10x Your Business in any Economy
Most entrepreneurs and CEO’s get stuck measuring the wrong things – so they can never WIN because their targets are all wrong. Most companies aim to increase revenue by a little each year.
We look to increase market share because when we control more of our market, our revenue scales far faster and we attract better talent, and really everything becomes easier to grow.
Scaling a company is more about RELATIONSHIPS than it is about SALES. You can leverage your relationships to make a thousand times more sales in any business, in any industry, and in any economy. Our focus must be on expanding our relationships.
Scaling a company is more about BIG DECISION than it is about daily decisions. You can mess up a lot of daily decisions and still scale into the 8 figures zone. Big decisions like what industry to play in will do more for your growth than anything else.
Scaling a company is more about CULTURE than it is about employees or vendors. Most companies get this wrong and believe they need a team before they build a culture, but a great culture will attract and filter great team members for you. And a great culture begins with a small handful of uncompromising values that resonate with you, your team, your customer, your prospects and your investors.
Ask multiple times throughout the day: What’s the best use of my time right now?
Ask at least once per week: What should I start, stop, continue? or stated differently: What’s working, what’s not working, and what do I NEED to do?
Ask after implementing something new: Are our results better, worse or the same?
Join Chris and Craig as they discuss how 10X’ing Your Thinking in Life and Business,
can help you achieve the Impact, Success , and Income you desire.

===========================
Hey, this is Christopher Guerriero, and welcome back to the Built to Grow Show. Today we are going to talk about a topic that is all about entrepreneurialism. How we know if we are born to be an entrepreneur.
I’ll tell you right now this is one of the hottest topics inside of our forums, and if you go to chrisguerriero.com and you click the link in the upper left-hand corner, I think it is, then you will be able to ask me a question.
This is one of the questions that comes across quite a bit, not just from people who are just starting out, but more importantly, it’s from people who are CEOs of organizations, who are presidents and founders and co-founders of large businesses, and they just don’t know at this level in their career, if they really were born to be entrepreneurs, and they want to see is something that they just walk in the wrong path for, or if it’s something that they were really built for.
I’ll tell you right now that if you have the drive to grow a business, or a brand, or an organization, you’re an entrepreneur. If you do not have the drive, then you cannot build that in. You cannot grow that. You cannot learn that you cannot read it in a book, watch it in a video, you just can’t, literally.
If you are not born an entrepreneur, then every single day in business is going to feel like a struggle to you.
So, how do you tell if you are an entrepreneur or not? Write this down, this is a rule that we live by in every organization that I have. Every single one of the employees that we have in our cultures, every single one of the entrepreneurs that I work with, or CEOs that I work with, they all live by this same rule.
Number one, here it is: You cannot judge a person by what they think or they say, only by what they do. And that’s the way we figure out if we’re walking the right path also. We cannot judge ourselves by what we think we are going to do, or by what we say we are going to do. We can only judge ourselves by the actions that we’ve taken in the past. You have to look at past actions.
If you are an entrepreneur, if you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are an entrepreneur, then I want you to go to www.ChrisGuerriero.com, go to the website, and grab the Built to Grow report on the bottom of the page. That report will tell you how the fastest growing companies in the world are scaling, what they’re measuring, how they’re growing.
The difference between an entrepreneur and an employee is a huge difference. It’s not better or worse. If you’re an employee, then you should be the best employee that you could be, and you can make a tremendous living at that. You can have a great family, you can have a great life. But if you’re an entrepreneur, then you can’t be an employee.
Let me know below. I will get in here, I’ll answer your questions. If you go to my website I’ll answer your questions there. Just let me know what you think. If you want more videos like this, I’ll be glad to share them with you. This is Christopher Guerriero from Built to Grow Show.
