The Anti-Casserole is Loveleen Kaur and Kate Fraser, two young women in Toronto, who are learning what it takes to prioritize their creative lives – sharing what they’re learning along the way.
Kate and Loveleen met at a documentary workshop where they both over-thought their brilliant film ideas. Finding commonality in their views on feminism, the creative process and the wonder of procrastination, they decided to turn their conversations out to the world.
In this weekly podcast is their musings, truth-telling and banter about what it takes to be a creative person – specifically for women who are trying to do it their way, in all their glory and all their imperfections.
This week on The Anti-Casserole, we continue the conversation about women in the workplace. We honestly discuss the experiences we've had in our adult work lives and what we've learned along the way. We bring forward strategies that we think women and allies can use to create better work environments. And it starts with Occupying your Lunchbreak!
This week on The Anti-Casserole podcast, we get into the realities of women in the workplace, particularly in the Non-Profit sector. We bring up challenges that we have faced and how these challenges are indications of systemic issues even though we can feel so alone.
This week on The Anti-Casserole Podcast we take the conversation from the external to the internal. Sometimes the biggest hurdle in the way is... Ourselves. Let's talk about the ogre that is the Hater Within and bring it out from the shadows. This big scary ogre, The Hater Within, is really just a cute puppy that needs to be loved. Listen in to our discussion as we hesitantly shine the light on the voice of The Hater Within. [Apologies for audio quality that doesn't match our previous weeks. We were having some technical difficulties but to not let The Hater Within win - we posted it anyways.]

This week we talk about reconsidering the "I have to" narrative and the times we need to take up more of the space and less of the load. This is for the women out who quietly take on the world - professionally & personally - as well as everyone else's.
In this episode, we kick off our 10 week season. This week's topic is Absolute Yes. What fills your calendar and would you rather be doing something else? We outline the characteristics of what it means to absolute yes in every moment of your day.
