What if the very thing you’re calling “freedom” is actually fueling your burnout?
We’ve been sold the idea that flexibility equals freedom. That being able to work from anywhere, say yes to everything, and keep our business in our head is somehow empowering. But let’s be honest, it’s exhausting.
Today I’m flipping the narrative! Because the truth is, real freedom doesn’t come from flying by the seat of your pants. It comes from structure. It comes from systems that give you your time, your energy, and your life back.
If you’re overwhelmed, on the verge of burnout, or just tired of feeling behind all the time, this is the mindset shift you didn’t know you needed.
Here’s what we’re going to expand on today:
2:09: The moment I realized my business was draining me and how that changed everything
4:57: Why messy operations quietly kill your confidence, clarity, and capacity
6:45: How building systems is a protective response, not a restrictive one
9:27: Simple ways to start systemizing today without getting overwhelmed
10:13: The role of the Back Office POWER Checklist in helping you determine where to start making changes
11:18: A quick win challenge to help you start building your first system

Are you thinking about creating an online course to grow your business? That is what you see online all the time as the best way to generate income and grow your business. But will this so-called expert advice work for your business?
You have to make that decision for yourself based on your expertise, your target audience and demand in your industry. Deciding not to create an online course wasn’t an easy decision to make and had been a question mark for me for way too long. So in this episode I talk about the following:

Personalized marketing is what is going to really boost your business growth and your revenue. One of the best ways to nurture relationships that bring about this type of growth is effective email marketing. One lesson all of us have learned by now is that you need to rely on more than social media because you don’t own those accounts and the platforms can go down at any time.
But you own your email list! So it’s time to ditch the boring PDFs, guides and worksheets and start using quizzes! Quizzes are the low hanging fruit of marketing that is fun, engaging and intuitive. They help people feel seen and heard because you’re serving them better. But is it the right marketing tool for your business? How do you even create one?
You’ll get the answers to those questions and more during this chat with Linda Sidhu, the quiz queen!

The average mom only gets about 67 minutes to herself every day and the rest of the day is dedicated to other people. Taking care of yourself isn't a luxury! To be a good mom you have to be in great shape mentally, physically and emotionally. But sometimes we ignore our needs because we feel like we’re being selfish.
So you have to make a conscious effort to practice self-care every day, even if you only use 30 of that 67 minutes. I’m sharing four simple strategies to help you do that in this episode and you can implement them in 30 minutes or less.

About three years ago I found I was “busy” every day but at the end of the day, I felt like nothing was accomplished and was always wondering where my day went. So I knew I needed to make some changes to take control of my time so I could see that I was being productive.
That’s when I decided to try the time blocking method. It has been a game changer!
Time blocking forces you to limit the number of tasks and determine how long it will take to complete it to place it on your schedule and get it done. I work a part-time job outside of my home, volunteer, cook meals for my family 3-4 days a week and work on my business and this is the only way I can make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
In episode 4 I am spilling the tea!
Are you ready to lose the never-ending to-do list and take control of your time?
Let me show you the solution I have found to balance the chaos and schedule my time like the boss babe that I know I am!

You know that you need to focus on revenue generating activities to grow your income but you're already overwhelmed by “all the things” it takes to work a 9 to 5, care for a family and grow a business. So you need to implement some systems to open up some time in your busy schedule.
Business systems are something that you either love or hate...but in either case they’re a necessity if you want to end the chaos, be more consistent and grow your business.
In this episode I talk about the three C’s of streamlining which you need to stabilize your business growth. This is the foundation of the framework that I use to help my clients determine what systems they need to focus on first and I hope it helps you do the same!
Thanks for tuning in today! Until next time...keep calm and streamline!
