Good Morning Buffalo! One of the coolest things about doing a podcast like Buffalo You Up is being invited to cool events like The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival! When Greg Lamberson asked if we would be interested in doing the Buffalo Dreams this year we immediately said yes! Greg has always put on a great event each year, he has always been super accommodating to us. We are very appreciative of this opportunity. We also were able to catch his film Guns of Eden! There were so much great local Buffalo talent in that film, it felt like a capstone of The Buffalo film scene. It really was incredible!

This episode though was a lot of fun! PMR sang a song for us. We also did a little impromptu improv. PMR was the guest. Get to learn more about him.

We had only 1 sponsor/ad this week. Our good friend Mercedes Lewis had helped provide us voices for The Rejection Pill.

For this episode of the podcast we had the distinct honor of hanging out with Jim. We discussed his cos playing and the types of art that he enjoys.

For the sponsors this week we had Kate McSpadden. She had provided us with the voice for the Nu Metal ad.  A very early 00's cartoon voice. It's quite hilarious. We also had her provide 2 voices for The Sleep Control. One was a really daring chick like Sarah Connor from Terminator or Ripley from those Aliens films. She also gave us a very seductive/cool girl voice inspired by the film Gone Girl when she gives her "cool girl" speech. We are really excited to see how you all react to The Sleep Control. That was dude man's first time trying to explore different genres/dimensions. We think dude man has come a long way since that first episode where he provided the voice for "Danny Boy's".

Good Morning Buffalo! For this latest release of the Buffalo You Up Podcast we have on the very beautiful and talented Kristina! She is one of the podcasts closest friends.. In that... she lives 5 minutes away from the studio. And, also that we have a really close bond/friendship with her. Kristina is a talented model and she's been killing it in the acting game. Such huge fans. So honored to have her on the podcast.

Also, for the sponsors this episode Dude Man really went above and beyond with his scripts for The Snack & Attack and The Be Friend Me App. But, the person who really knocked it out of the park, the person who we are so incredibly honored/touched that helped with us the ads Mercedes Lewis deserves a lot of credit for her dedication and her drive to get both of the ads done. She really put all of her heart into both ads and I think when you listen to it, you'll see what we mean. Mercedes, from the bottom of our hearts... thank you so much for helping us with these ads!

Good Morning Buffalo! We have wrapped up our interviews with The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. We are back now with our season 1 episodes. The Buffalo You Up Podcast. The first guest back is Adam Bloch. Who oddly enough was the last guest we had on from The Buffalo Dreams. Coincidence? Adam is the audio guy of Buffalo. With that said, he is quite the busy guy. We're lucky we were able to have him sit down with us this season and talk to us about anything and everything.  Also, for the sponsors this episode we reached out to the very talented Australian voice actor Sumara Meers. She did two sponsors. The Top 10 Top 10's and Dr. Finebody's. Her work is really quite incredible. All of the voices you heard in those ads were supplied by her and she knocked it out of the park! Thank you for agreeing to help us out. Would definitely recommend to others!

For this episode we have on JP Edwards (writer/director) of Malign, JP's daughter Eda Edwards (actor) in Malign and Adam Bloch (Audio) in Malign. Adam Bloch is a true audio legend. One thing we want you to do when you see all of the Buffalo local films that premiered at The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival this year, we want you to count how many times you see Adam's name in there. For this interview, we focused on Widow's Point. Adam was involved with production and post production. He has done so much and he's also helped us set our basement up for the podcast, we can't ever thank Adam enough for the help.

For one week in August The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival holds their annual film festival. It is always fantastic. So fantastic in fact, it almost feels like a dream. Oh, now it makes sense! This year they invited The Buffalo You Up Podcast team to come in and interview all of the film makers, believers and dreamers out there. We happily accepted.

For this episode of The Buffalo You Up Podcast, we had somebody else who was interviewing the film makers, actors and crew. Her name is Nicole Simone. She was very kind to us. She was there before we arrived and she did interviews standing with her guests all day. We were luckier, we had sit down interviews. She had it a lot rougher. For that, we wanted to have her on our podcast and personally thank her for her dedication to cover The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. You can check out her company sunmoonrising films on Instagram. There's some interviews and photos up there already from the festival. She also has a Facebook for SunmoonRising Films that you can check out.

She is also a writer, director, producer and she has a series coming out called These Streets Don't Love You Like I Do. We hope we can have her on for season 2 where we can discuss that a little further. Thank you Nicole for agreeing to be on our podcast.

The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival had invited The Buffalo You Up Podcast team to come in and interview all of the film makers, believers and dreamers out there. We happily accepted.  For this episode of The Buffalo You Up Podcast, we had on the writer/director of Mirror, Mirror. The short film played before Gregory Lamberson's Widow's Point. You really couldn't ask for a better spot, in my opinion. I think everybody and their mother came out to see Widow's Point, so being asked to be the short film before that film... that's got to mean that Greg has great faith in you.  After the showing of Widow's Point The Buffalo You Up Podcast sat down with Timothy Ohearn and we discussed his beautiful, bizarre twisted Twilight Zone inspired short film and Tim gave us great details about his first short film he wrote and directed. He also talked to us about what it was like transitioning from acting for 10 plus years to directing for the first time.

This episode is part of a long special series where The Buffalo You Up Podcast was invited to interview the film makers, actors, and the crew that all have work that they can show at The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. This is not part of season 1 or season 2. This is just a special treat for all of you listeners out there.

This was the first year that The Buffalo You Up Podcast crew has been so actively involved with The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. We had no idea what to expect. We didn't know how many people would be interested in being interviewed, but to our surprise everyone was thrilled that they could come on our podcast, nobody said no to us. They've all been super patient, understanding and we've told them it would only be a few minutes because we did these interviews during intermission of films. Somehow we pulled it off.

Going off of that, you really have no idea what to expect when you get to The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. That's especially true with this episode. For our first guest, we were extremely lucky that we had Craig Sheffer's daughter Willow Anwar be our first guest for this episode. She is one of the coolest, most down to earth people we've met. Super friendly and just really high spirits were radiating from her. She was super enthusiastic to be on our show, which we loved. It brought our spirits way up. And, we hope we can get her on in a future episode if she comes again to The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. She plays the widow in Widow's Point and she terrified us! She rocked the role. She is an extreme talent that will not go unnoticed and this was her first big role!

The second guest that we had on was Craig Sheffer. Craig is a legend. He has been killing it in the acting world for a very long time. We were so incredibly honored and lucky that he agreed to be on our podcast. Mostly because his daughter told him it'd be a great idea. Thank you Willow! Craig plays Thomas Livingston in Widow's Point. The basic rundown of his character is he is a writer who wants to spend a weekend in the most cursed place he could think of. He lands himself locked in a lighthouse for a weekend, and we're not going to give away spoilers so you just have to watch this film for yourself to see what happens. All we'll say is it's an ending you definitely won't expect. The film is also based off the book with the same name. We hope you enjoy this episode.

Words can not possibly express our excited we are to upload this episode. All of this week (August 23rd - August 29th) The Buffalo You Up Podcast was invited on to participate in The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival as correspondents. With the permission of Greg, we were allowed to bring in our microphones, our laptops, all of our equipment and record anybody who had agreed to it. This is a very special episode of The Buffalo You Up Podcast, however, because we had both of the Lambersons on as guests. The first guest that we had on for this episode was Kaelin Lamberson. Now Kaelin has been featured in other Buffalo films before, but this was the first time she was featured as a main player. Kaelin Lamberson plays Delaney Collins in Widow's Point and she was incredible. We can tell that she has a really bright future ahead of her. The second guest we had on was Greg Lamberson. Greg is the person in charge of The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. It's because of him we were allowed to bring in our equipment, so we wanted to have him on and personally thank him. Greg is also the director of Widow's Point, which is a film that was on everybody's radar to come and see for this festival. The film does not disappoint. When it comes out on DVD, you definitely want to buy a copy and watch it again and again. Greg, thank you again for having us be involved with this festival.

What's incredible about The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival is you have no idea who you'll meet. Dude Man had the pleasure and honor of meeting Adrian and his mother Kristina. One story that was really fascinating is Kristina recalls after watching Adrian work, it peaked her interest and she got involved in film making as well.  Kristina made a 4 and a half hour documentary and Adrian edited it for her! That's insane. That just shows that family that works together really stays together.  Adrian and Kristina are really awesome people to talk to and we are really glad that we had the pleasure of having them on the podcast, all thanks to The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival.

Thanks again to The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival for letting us come and shoot interviews with some of the coolest film makers. Both of these guests that were on are all thanks to Ty Cheman. Thank you so much for reaching out to your peers and getting them to be a part of The Buffalo You Up Podcast. I think that means you deserve producer credit this episode if I'm not mistaken?

One of the guests we had on and had the pleasure to interview with Paul McGinnis, you can catch him acting in Widow's Point. It is playing at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival on Saturday, August 24th (today if you are up and listening to this episode as soon as it's aired.)

The other guest we had on was Kristen Skeet, she is the writer and director of Murder Creek, you can catch that short film playing Tuesday at The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. We are really looking forward to seeing it.

The Buffalo You Up Podcast team was invited this week to be a part of The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. That is an incredibly honor. We seriously can not the people who run the festival enough. Big shout out to Greg! Also, we were allowed to interview some of the attendees. So for this episode we had on Michael O Hear. He is a Buffalo film legend. We asked what movies he was most excited to see, he said Parallel was definitely one of them. Which brings us to the second guest.

Our second guest was Isaac Ezban who is a writer and director. He is no stranger to The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. Isaac's newest film into the festival is called Parallel. It was an incredible honor to see the film and have the chance to interview him on the podcast afterwards. Thank you for agreeing to be on it.

For this episode of The Buffalo You Up Podcast, our guest was Gregory Lamberson. For those of you that don't know Greg, he is the man behind The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, if you want your movie to be shown, it must go through Greg. For this episode of The Buffalo You Up Podcast our team put on their A game and we hit this episode out of the park. The most important take away from this episode is don't forget that The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival is next weekend. And, it only cost $60 for the whole week! That's over a hundred films. So, you know that's a steal! Greg will also have a merch table available if you want to buy copies of his work. The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival is a great way to network and connect. Also, it's a great way to tell everyone who spent hours on their films that they did a great job.  We hope you enjoy this episode. Thank you again Greg for coming on our podcast and believing in us.

In this episode of the Buffalo You Up Podcast, we had on a very special guest, Sherri Lyn Litz. Now, Sherri at this point in her career is a household name in the Buffalo film community. Everybody who has met her only has good things to say about her. She is involved in so many different projects, it was really difficult to try and narrow it down to two subjects. But, we figured it'd be really cool to talk about the wrestling promotion she's involved with and The Superhero Aliance of WNY or SAWNY. Besides all of the amazing talents she has, she is one of the absolute nicest people that you will ever meet. She is also one of the easiest people to talk to that you will ever come across as well. What else can I say? She models, she acts, she does it all! And she made time out of her busy schedule to join us! Can you tell we're huge fanboys of hers? Lol. Sherri, thank you again for coming on our podcast, for the gift and for dressing up as Harley Quinn for us.

What an absolute blast it was to have on Ty Cheman. He was very funny, serious and seriously funny. It was a lot of fun talking about practical effects and which werewolf movie Ty likes more (An American Werewolf in London or The Howling). There was just so much that we had to discuss, so please check out the episode.

Welcome to The Buffalo You Up Podcast! This is the first episode. For this episode we have hosts introduce themselves. We have a lot of new content on its way! We have lots of awesome guests that will be stopping by our studio. Stay on the lookout for that.

For the sponsors this week we had Kate McSpadden. She had provided us with 2 voices for The Sleep Control. One was a really daring chick like Sarah Connor from Terminator or Ripley from those Aliens films. She also gave us a very seductive/cool girl voice inspired by the film Gone Girl when she gives her "cool girl" speech. We are really excited to see how you all react to The Sleep Control.  She had also provided us with the voice for the Nu Metal ad.  A very early 00's cartoon voice. It's quite hilarious. We want to thank Kate for helping with us our first episode.
