It's been a big summer for many players around Steve Clarke's Scotland scene. Some players are just fine where they are - John McGinn, Callum McGregor, Aaron Hickey etc - but some of the lads are face to face with uncertainty; Scott McTominay, Che Adams and Kieran Tierney to name a few. Some players have moved on... Jack Hendry is off to Saudi Arabia and Jacob Brown is in the Premier League with Luton, but the uncertainty is - certainly - the club level talking point with the country looking to top the qualifying group over the next four games.

Having played under six managers for Scotland and been an ever-present from his second cap onward, there's not much he didn't experience with the national team.. He played more than 50 times for his country, but Gary Caldwell will mainly be remembered by fans for one of the most iconic Hampden goals of all time. In 2006, he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over France, sending the supporters into a state of pandemonium with just over 20 minutes to play.
