What a way to close out the season (for now) for the Drake men's basketball team. We break down their historic tournament run here (1:20) while prepping you for the women's tournament this weekend (12:40). The softball team continues their struggling ways as they close out the non-conference schedule (22:39).
It was a tough way to end the season for the Drake men's basketball team, who was blown out by Northern Iowa in the final game of the regular season to drop them to the 8-seed in the MVC tournament (12:58). The women's team fared a lot better, winning 2 key games to move them into half a game behind Missouri State for the top spot in the standings (1:38). The softball team struggled, losing all 5 games in their weekend matches (23:38).
Close games, but wins all around! We talk about the Drake women's basketball team's two wins at home, and the send-off to one of the best senior classes this program has seen (2:40). The men's side had an OT win at home, but a close road loss (14:52). The men's golf team is in the midst of a good meet (22:12), and softball struggled while down a pitcher (23:57).
This week, we add two new sports as softball and golf fits in the fold. Drake women's basketball started us off with a couple road wins (1:50) before the men's side continued to struggle on the road, but win at home (11:17). Women's golf got a win, their 9th win in program history (19:44) while softball went 2-3 in Stanford this weekend (21:39).
This week, both teams lost extremely hard-fought conference games. The Drake women's basketball team defeated Southern Illinois but lost to ranked Missouri State at home, their first home loss since February 1 of last year against Missouri State (3:38). The men's team beat Bradley convincingly, but lost a well-played game on the road to Northern Iowa (16:22).
Both teams are in the thick of the Missouri Valley Conference schedule. The Drake women's basketball team had a couple of tough road games this weekend, winning in OT over Illinois State and losing by 1 point to Bradley (1:37). The men's team blew out Evansville on the road, but played Missouri State extremely close before winning at home (14:36).
Both basketball teams extend their home winning streaks this week (no basketball team has lost in the Knapp Center since February 1). The women's team won by a combined total of 100 points over 2 opponents this weekend (2:00), while the men's team won their home match up vs Illinois State, but struggle vs Southern Illinois (12:38).
Both women's and men's basketball teams experience a mix of success and failures over the last few weeks, as the women's team loses on a buzzer beater to Missouri State (00:57) and the men's team wins a couple home games to begin conference play, but loses a couple on the road as well (11:14).

The basketball teams head to Florida for the Gulf Coast Showcase, as we bring you our coverage of the tournaments: Men- (9:02), Women- (17:27). We also discuss the conclusion of the football (1:20) and volleyball (24:55) seasons.
Another season is in the books as we are at the end of fall sports and at the beginning of winter sports. We start with football who saw their hopes of a PFL co-championship go away with a loss to Dayton (1:47), then we move over to women's basketball who rebounded from a difficult loss vs South Dakota to win at home (10:00), men's basketball who played 3 games and won 2 of them (15:27), men's soccer who lost in the MVC semifinals to end their season (18:46), and volleyball who lost to the top team in the MVC (21:36).
A huge week in Drake sports as the football team won (1:30), the men's (7:40) and women's (10:20) basketball teams kicked off their seasons in great ways, the men's soccer team finished their regular season (19:10), women's soccer's season ended (20:45), and volleyball continued their difficult season (22:13).

We start with the football team's disappointing blowout vs San Diego (1:24), women's basketball's 2 wins in exhibition play (7:23), men's basketball's win in an exhibition game (13:00), women's soccer and their MVC tournament standing (17:30), and then volleyball's 2 difficult losses at home (19:30).
The Drake football team had another outstanding week, winning their 4th game in a row (1:08), the men's soccer team played well without good results (9:14), the women's soccer team have now won 4 games in a row as well (11:46), and the volleyball team won a game for the first time in a while (15:40).
