Today is a unique episode unlike any in the past. Today I am pleased to welcome a descendant of a MLB Dead Ball Era HOFer, Mordecai Peter Centennial Brown, also known as 3 Finger. His relative, Scott, will talk about the foundation he runs, as well as keeping 3 Finger Browns legacy alive and how he unearthed all the information.

Today’s special hour long episode will feature Former MLBer Tommy John, famous for winning 288 games as well as helping advance medical science and being famous for having a surgery and being successful after it. He is now working with his son, Tommy John Jr, a chiropractor with a sports medicine background.
Dr Tommy has written a book, with the foreword being written by his father, called “ Minimize Injury, Maximize Performance: A Sports Parents Survival Guide” in which he questions the 15 Billion Dollar Youth Sports Industry.
In this historic episode, father and son join me to talk about the evolution of the surgery, Tommy’s decision to have the surgery and his subsequent recovery from it, and why it’s so prevalent in sports today, as well as SO much more.

The lesson that Twins player taught him and how he has been able to create such a fantastic and very popular autograph store during a time when autograph forgery is at an all time high. Graig Kriendler is an artist and baseball fan, to say the very least. He has undertaken the enourmous task of bringing baseballs legends such as Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Ty Cobb, and many others, back to life...in art form. Graig, named after a former MLBer, creates real lifelike color images from black and white photos. His world makes you feel like you’re there, you can smell the grass, eat the peanuts, hear the crowd noise, he brings the images, the players, and the memories back to life.
In this very special episode, I will talk to Graig about this process, how it started, and where he goes from here, as well as talking about how he got his name.

Gregg Olson is the All a Time Saves Leader for the Orioles. He played for 9 teams during his 14 year career. He was the 1989 ROY, an All Star in 1990 and is a member of the Baltimore Orioles Hall Of Fame. I will talk to Gregg about his blazing fastball, his “Uncle Charlie” pitch, and how it got that name, and being a 1st round pick. As well as being a part of a no hitter, as well as his connection to Hollywood.

Jack Kucek spent time with 3 teams in the big leagues, CWS, PHI, TOR. Jack will be on the program and will talk about being drafted by the White Sox in 1974, as well as making a rapid ascension from the Class A Appleton Foxes to the Majors, making his MLB Debut on Aug 8, 1974. While he didn’t achieve MLB stardom, he did play in the majors and even recorded 2 saves. But it’s his work outside of baseball that he is most proud of and we will talk about that as well.
