You can make millions of dollars online, but you first need to master your mind, become more disciplined, and, most importantly, become more open-minded.

Have you ever heard people say, ‘that was such a stressful situation’? Well, that sentence doesn’t make logical sense. No situation is inherently stressful. It’s just the reaction to the situation that causes stress. That’s why some people can enjoy a public speaking gig in front of thousands of people, and others faint just at the idea of it. If you are stressed out, maybe it’s time for you to look inward and understand why you are reacting that way. Can you associate the ‘stressful’ tasks to a higher goal that exhilarates you? Can you reframe your current bodily feelings from ‘stressful’ to ‘exciting’? A rush of adrenaline is neither good nor bad. Some pay to go bungee jumping to get the same physical reaction you would get if you were literally falling from a mountain. When you understand that you can reframe your physical sensations and work with them instead of resisting them, negative stress will disappear, and what was hurting you before will just be a healthy challenge to overcome.
I bet some of you don’t even know what you really want from life. The main problem is that many people don’t remember who they are. They spent so much time on Instagram or watching TV that they don’t know what they like or dislike. They just know what society wants them to enjoy. That’s why people get lost pursuing their dreams. Their map was flawed to being with! It’s time for you to create a new map: the map of you. Dig deep into your past and find out what you enjoyed doing when you were younger. That generally gives you a good idea of what you’d do if money weren’t in the picture. Once you have your values and priorities figured out, it’s time to align your every-day decisions with your new map. It’s not going to happen overnight, but when you finally start seeing results, you will be so pumped to notice that you are living YOUR dream and not someone else’s.
Believe it or not, COVID made this process much more manageable. Even last year, many businesses (and customers) were opposed to meeting online and developing relationships digitally. Now, virtually every customer and business has an online presence, even if it’s just a Facebook account. That made your life a whole lot easier because you can grow your brand and scale with just your smartphone. If you are not creating content daily, you are missing out on an asset that is free to build, and it compounds over time. If you are wondering where your next deal is coming from, that is a sign that you need to double down on your brand awareness and content creation. If you are struggling to scale and want to learn how to use content creation to get quality leads into your business, send me a message, and we can find out the best way for you to grow organically.

We all need some time to reboot our mind. If you don’t meditate regularly, or you find yourself always on social media, you definitely need to unplug and reset. I meditate every day, but I still like to have a 24 hour reset every 7 weeks. This technique above has helped me gain clarity by reconnecting with what I value most (my relationships, and time alone with myself)
Working remotely can be hard if you don’t know how to focus properly. But it’s actually not that hard once you understand that it’s all about pre-committing. Tell your family/friends/coworkers that you are going to step in “the zone” for a few hours and that you don’t have time to interact with them.
Get rid of all distractions in sight. For example, put your phone away under a big pile of papers or in a closet.
Put your headphones on and listen to instrumental music so you don’t get distracted by lyrics. And lastly, if you get distracted by Youtube or other sites, invest in a browser blocker so you just can’t surf the web while you work.
Everyone likes to talk to people, but no one likes to close the deal. But your business is not going to make money unless you take that crucial final step. To make that happen then, follow this pattern. Ask questions to understand your prospect’s situation. Cover the ins and outs of your product or service and show how your product will help solve the problems your client just talked about. When the prospect stats asking questions about price, terms, conditions, etc., it’s time to go for the close. Don’t get stuck on the sales side of the conversation, otherwise you will talk yourself out of the deal. If your product is good and you believe in it, you should be proud to take this last step!
Are you a bad boss? Managing your team is not easy. But there are a few principles that you can keep in mind that will help you be a better leader. Having a morning huddle with your team is crucial to keep everyone on the same page, (especially if you have a remote team.) Don’t forget that this is your business, and no one is going to be as passionate about as you are. That’s why it’s your job to keep people motivated. So lead by example! When issues arise, don’t point fingers, ask questions instead, try to coach your staff. Everything is an opportunity for improvement. Last but not least, don’t have generic targets. A confused mind doesn’t work well. Be specific and make people understand exactly what you consider to be a successful outcome.
4 Daily Habits That Changed My Life I literally tried hundreds of “hacks” to improve my life, but these 4 are by far the most effective ones. Daily meditation sessions (even just 10 minutes,) help me stay centered throughout the day and avoid getting caught up in small stuff. Now, as soon as something throws me off, I catch myself within 1 second and I am back in my “zen mode.” Working out and sweating are the two things that allow me to stay energetic and alert all day long. If I don’t work out in the morning, I am lethargic and distracted by 2 pm. Cold Showers…. Oh, cold showers… I have been taking them on a daily basis for over one year (never missed a day…) They remind me what it means to be consistent, they relax me, they lower body inflammation, they increase energy and they are obviously the fastest way to wake up too! Planning my work the night before has allowed me to stay on track with my ambitions and literally writing my life. Think about it. All I do is make big goals, break them down into daily actions, assign these daily actions to my days, and execute. Done! Implement some of these habits in your life and watch your productivity and wellbeing skyrocket!

My Morning Routine For Productivity My clients always ask me if I work every day until dinner time… Truth be told, I barely do. That’s because I know when I function best. I am at the top of my mental and physical capacity during the morning. After lunch, I tend to be less focused, and I get distracted more easily. That’s why I tend to do more reactive work in the afternoon. That means answering emails, getting errands done, etc. I also make sure to have lunch at 2 pm, which gives me a full seven hours of focused work in the morning (between 7 am and 2 pm.) By 4:30 pm, I am always done with all my work. That gives me plenty of time to spend with my wife. Since I wake up early, I am never tempted to stay up past my bedtime. That allows me to wake up at the same time every morning and repeat this fantastic morning routine. Are you struggling with your morning routine? Let me know in the comments below!
How to Start A Career in Digital Marketing in 2020 When I started my agency in the mid-2010s, digital marketing was not new, but there were a lot fewer agencies. Then things changed in 2017, and now there are so many companies offering it! Business owners have caught on, and they are tough to convince. That’s because every agency promises amazing results, but only a few of them have the data to back those promises. If you are just getting started or are a freelancer who wants to take your business to new heights, do the following. Focus on getting your first couple of clients on a revenue share model. This means that you don’t get paid until you get results. Don’t worry, you are not doing this forever, but you need momentum, so get your feet wet and put your money (and time) where your mouth is. Once you scale those accounts, it’s time to ask for testimonials and as many referrals as possible. Also, reach out to publications in your clients’ niche and try to get featured! Now that you have lots of social proof and authority reach out to as many prospects as possible and produce show your results and experience. When your prospects are on the fence, and they don’t know if they should buy from you, remind them that you are the closest option to a sure thing. You got excellent results; magazines wrote articles about you, and you have a ton of case studies… It’s a no-brainer!
Alright!!! I know… Cold calling is not fun, but it is the fastest way for you to get in touch with someone that can turn out to be your best client. In all honesty, most people hate cold calling because they don’t have a clear plan. Before picking up the phone, make sure you know who your lead is and how you can help them out. This will give you enough insight to keep the conversation going and the motivation to help them. Once they pick up, try to mirror their energy. People will always respond better to those who sound like them. If they’re excited, be excited. If they sound like they’re tired, relax and go slower. Now it’s time to buy time! The last thing you want to do is give them a boring one-liner like “we help businesses get more clients.” Be creative! “We double our clients’ revenue in 90 days by…” That’s more interesting, and it leads straight into a pitch. Once you’re pitching, don’t be generic. Mention how you help their specific niche. Tell them why your company is the best solution for their business model. Try this system for a few weeks and tell me, and your cold calls go!
My first remote team fell apart in less than a month. I had hired three people to work on my Amazon business. I was still afraid to give up control, so I would message them every couple of hours to ask for updates. Sometimes I would even message them at night or on weekends. Within a couple of weeks, I started noticing a drop in the quality of the work, and by the end of the month, two of the three-team members had left. I learned the hard way that remote work is not like on-site work. People that work well remotely have a higher sense of independence and can motivate themselves. If you are not ready to let your team do their magic, maybe you should wait to hire a remote team! Also, don’t make the same mistake I made. Don’t only rely on messaging apps to speak with your staff. Get on a video or audio call with them every day to set the tone for the day, motivate them and share empowering stories. Working remotely is a blessing, but you need to make sure that everyone feels that way. Don’t automatically expect people to be on the same page. Ask questions, and make your morning meetings count! They’re likely the only time that you get to interact with your staff for the day!
“I can’t focus, and my eyes can’t stay open” I used to say that sentence to myself every day through university and for the first few years of working full time. I thought it was going to be like that forever. But at least I always liked to experiment with different lifestyle choices and diets. So, I made it a point to tweak and adjust my food intake and habits, and while doing that, I was journaling to find out how I felt. To my surprise, spending more time in bed did nothing. Actually, it made me feel less productive and gave me quite a few headaches. But, after years of testing, I finally found my balance. I have an excellent evening routine; I read, write, and plan. Then I wake up always at the same exact time; that way, I don’t need an alarm clock. I also make sure to have my workout in the morning, which gives me the mental and physical energy I need to stay focused in the afternoon. And finally, no matter what I choose to eat, I need to have at least one portion of greens. This routine gave me a sustained level of energy for over a year without fail. If you are in a similar situation to where I was, try these steps, and you will see amazing results.

“I am not cut out for this.” That’s what most people say about themselves when they are starting out. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed at the beginning. But then you realize that discipline is like a muscle, and every time you complete an action, you reinforce the neural pathway responsible for that behavior. When you realize that, you go through a paradigm shift that will make your journey 1000 times easier. The most common thought process that beginners have is “this thing is so hard, and it will be this hard forever.”, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Next time you are trying to instill a new habit, take the time to focus on your internal discomfort and repeat, “this task will never be this difficult again. Tomorrow it will be a bit easier.” Focus all your thoughts on that one concept. Nothing will be as hard as it is now, because you are getting better at it every time you practice it. Let that sink in. Once you truly understand it, nothing will be as daunting.
Coming up with ideas for content from scratch is hard. But if you have a process to follow, it’s just a matter of collecting your thoughts and putting them on paper (or your computer) We need to have a frame of reference to start with, and once we have a cue, our minds can begin developing a whole story around it. What do you want your audience to learn? Come up with your topics and assign each subject to a day of the week. Then pick a day to work on your content, and when you sit down, all you need to do is expand on the topics you have already planned to write about. This system is called ”batching.” It works very well because when you carve out a few hours from your calendar to work on one task (content creation in this case), you enter a state of flow, and you work at a much faster pace. Don’t overcomplicate things! Find a system that works for you and focus on consistency! Your hard work will pay off!
Most salespeople sit at their desks waiting for a laydown. The feeling when you receive an inbound lead that is ready to buy is incredible, but that’s a unicorn. If you are in sales (and business) to make real money, you need to master your sales skills so you can close any type of sales call. The battle, for example, is the most common one. It’s when the prospect is interested but has a ton of objections. If you are not quick and sharp, you will lose the battle and miss the deal! The follow-up is also very common, and if you are not diligent with your CRM and consistent with your work, you will lose a bunch of deals that way. Also, do you know how to deal with those clients that want to leave you hanging with the line, “I will get back to you.”? If you don’t know how to take control of the conversation, you will be left hanging more often than not! What’s the hardest type of sales call for you?
So you have a few clients, and you know it’s time to take your biz to the next level. First off, congrats! You made it past the first big filter. Now it’s time to learn a new series of skills. What took you here, won’t be enough to take you to new heights. Yes, you are consistent and motivated. You are also great at offering your service or selling your product. But do you know how to create systems and lead people? The good news is that virtually every business model will require the same skills at the scaling stage, and they all revolve around people management, money management, and process management. Before you embark on this journey, prepare yourself! Take courses on all those topics, get a mentor that can share with you what works what doesn’t. Making a mistake when your business is making 5k a month is not a big deal. But if you make a mistake when your business is making 25k a month, it can take you months to recover. Be smart! Balance learning and doing, and you will be set for life!
If starting a business is hard, try scaling it!⠀ It’s true… learning how to motivate yourself daily is hard. You need to break out of all your old limiting habits. But when you scale your business, you need to keep up your discipline and lead a team at the same time.⠀ Also, most of your staff will not be as motivated as you are. After all, this is your business, not theirs.⠀ Before giving orders and leading your team, you need to know a lot about the human mind and what drives people. And what’s a better place to start than with yourself?⠀ Do a lot of internal work, and use the same techniques that motivate you to help others achieve similar goals.⠀ At the same time, remember that leading also means making unpopular decisions at times. If your goal is to please everyone, you may be in the wrong career!⠀ In the end, it’s all about practice, practice, practice!
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview Paul Getter: The Internet Marketing Nerd. Paul shares with us his story and some extremely valuable knowledge about digital marketing. Enjoy this episode!
What makes people hyper-productive?! Is it their genes? Their knowledge? Or the place where they were born? Well, the answer is: “none of those.” It’s their habits. Habits have a compounding effect on our productivity. The more you stick to a productive routine, the more you will be able to master your energy and focus. There are several approaches to daily routines, but today I want to focus on the world’s richest person. Jeff wakes up early and uses the sun as his alarm clock. Then he spends time with his family (he says, “I like to putter in the morning.”) Once he’s at work, he tries to have all his most important meetings before noon to make good use of his morning focus. He also says that he likes to keep them short because he’d rather fit more conversations in his schedule (If I were running a company like Amazon, I would certainly feel the same!) Bezos also says that he likes taking care of some house chores because, while he does that, his mind wanders into problem-solving mode, and he credits some of his best ideas and solutions to those moments. The takeaway from this post is that everyone is different. The goal is to find a schedule that works for you. Test, test, test! When you find a combination of habits that allow you to consistently show up and create good work, stick to the new routine and turn it into a non-negotiable.
4 ALTERNATIVE Reasons Why You Should Create Content
Your business needs to have several entry points. Think about your content pieces as doors on a busy street. You don’t know which piece will resonate with your prospects!
Plus, people don’t make buying decisions on the spot. They take time to think and look at other options.
If you create content on a constant basis, you will stay top of mind, and when they are ready to buy, you’re going to be there for them.
Yes, it’s “time-consuming.” But it’s the best way to invest your time. Especially if you’re looking to stay in business in the long run.
Is your sales process getting any more comfortable with time? I have been in sales for a decade now, and just a few years ago, I realized how to make my work (and life) easier. For years I was working with the same exact sales deck and pitch. Results were ok, but they were not getting any better with time. Then one day, I realized that I had quite a few success stories, but I wasn’t sharing their successes with my prospects. “What if I constantly update my pitch and my lead generation system to reflect my results?” That one question changed my game forever! The first time I had proof that this was going to work was when I had a fantastic month with my agency while working with a clothing e-commerce store. The first thing I did was focus all my energy on reaching out to other clothing companies in a different region and start the conversation with all my social proof and case studies. My booking rate skyrocketed, and my close rate did as well. Then I had an amazing month with a food company, I followed the same process, and within weeks I had three more clients in that niche. Your sales process is not set in stone, go with the flow! Leverage your wins to get more wins, and you will soon find yourself with a lot more deals and a lot fewer headaches.
Who has a love-hate relationship with working remotely? Most of my clients love working remotely, but they know that they could be more productive. If that’s you, let’s see how we can make you (and your team) more efficient. First off, working from home doesn’t mean working from your couch. No matter where you are, you should set up a corner that you associate with hard work and focus. That way, you can instantly get in the zone as soon as you sit down at your desk. Then, if you have remote staff, your primary goal is to make them feel they are still part of a team. Having a morning huddle with your team is crucial to set the tone and let people know that they’re being held accountable for short term goals as much as the long term ones. Also, don’t forget to transition to a 100% cloud business! I know most of you may still be reluctant to do that, but don’t forget that work that can’t be accessed from your team is worth nothing! Last but not least, don’t be afraid to time tasks when you delegate them for the first time. You need to know how much time your staff needs to allocate to each project, and if you don’t know, have a birds-eye view, you will end up wasting a ton of time and money! Need help going from freelancer/solopreneur to CEO of your remote business? Send me a message now!
Why can’t I stay excited about my goals in the long-term? I used to ask myself that question for so many years. Is it just me??? But after looking for a solution to this problem, I realized that the issue wasn’t with my mind, but it was with the way I was seeing my goals. I always had big lofty goals and that’s awesome. But it’s in the nature of these goals to be very long term. So I would spend days and weeks all dialed in, only to slow down and slowly get bored with the process. I had nothing to look forward to but some distant reward. Then I came across a blog post that talked about breaking down these objectives into smaller bite-sized chunks. I instantly realized that all my goals were comprised of a ton of moving parts, and each part was a goal on its own. For example, when I decided to lose 40 pounds in 2016, I broke down my goal into a) getting a Magic Bullet and substituting my unhealthy snacks with a protein and fruit smoothie. b) Doing HIIT 6 days a week c) going grocery shopping once a week and buying only healthy foods etc. It worked! Every time I hit a new milestone, I was just as happy as if I had hit my main goal. That excitement made me stick to the process all the way through and I eventually hit my main goal. Since then, I have been using this goal-setting system with all my personal and professional goals. What do you do to keep yourself motivated?
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show,I had the pleasure to interview Veronica Sagastume. Veronica is a business strategist, CFO consultant, with over 20 years of Corporate experience in Accounting, Finance, & Operations. Veronica first discovered her love of consulting while working with CEOs at start-up and emerging growth companies in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. In 2011, Veronica made the bold decision to leave her CFO/COO position to launch her own consulting practice.
My client was stuck in a cycle of addiction and self-sabotaging behaviors. Deniero, I know better, but every time I sit down to work, all my limiting beliefs come pouring out, and I think to myself, ‘why am I wasting my time?’ I knew that cycle all too well because I was deep in it just a few years earlier. Years of therapy helped, but they felt like a crutch more than a solution. That’s when I had decided to start journaling. I picked up a planner online, and as soon as I started using it, I saw incredible results. Planning my weeks on Sunday mornings gave me clarity and the opportunity to design my schedule. I felt like I was in control again—the same thing with planning my days the night before. I finally had a say on how my days would unfold. Writing down my affirmations made them more real than ever before. The power of reading your thoughts is often underplayed. Gratitude journaling urged me to focus on the beautiful life I had right in front of my eyes. Monitoring my performance daily forced me to be honest with myself. No more hall passes, just straight up accountability. Journaling is the one habit that changed my life for good and I hope you will consider starting this habit as well.
So you know that your personal brand is your biggest asset. But with all the social platforms, creating content is becoming almost a full-time job.
Couple that with the fact that you likely won’t be able to monetize on your brand for at least two years, no wonder why so many people see content creation as a daunting task.
But today, I want to break down a simple trick that will help you create content in just a couple of hours a week.
First off, find out what your niche wants to know more about. Once you know the topics, arrange them in 4 or 5 different pillars.
These pillars will be your guidelines, so that every time you sit down to write a post, or film a video, you can refer to one of the pillars and start talking (or writing) about it.
I help freelancers and solopreneurs scale their businesses, so I talk about hiring, automation, sales, content creation, productivity, etc.
Once you figure out what your framework looks like, you don’t have to re-invent the wheel every time. Just glance at your pillars and start talking about the topics you are already familiar with!
Congrats! You made it all the way to the end of a sales call! You covered everything you were supposed to, and yet, the prospect turns into a slippery soap bar and gives you the good ol’ “I will get back to you.” You were ready to deal with the “It’s too much money,” or the “I am not ready to do this yet,” or even the “I need to talk to my partner.” But what about “I will get back to you”? That just shows that the prospect is not looking to engage in a conversation. At that point, your main goal is not to close a deal, but to find out what the real issue is. Sure, you’ll get back to closing in a minute, but right now, it’s time to get the conversation back on track. Saying something like, “In my years of experience, I know that if someone tells me, ‘I’ll get back to you,’ there’s usually an issue that wasn’t addressed. Is it the price? The product? The agreement length?’ Once you find out what the real reason is, dig in deeper. “What about the ___? How can we make it work?” Don’t be afraid to ask questions to uncover the real issue. Do that with confidence, to get back in control of the conversation. Remember, hurdles are not walls! You can (and you should) jump over them and get to the finish line.
I can’t believe I wasted a full year working with a mediocre team. And the sad part is that I thought I had done everything right. I posted a job, went through the job applications, booked and ran ten interviews, and picked the best candidate. Little that I knew, people can be amazing during the interview process but turn into below-average contractors once they start working. I had to change something. Enter the tryout model. I come from a digital marketing background, so my number one focus is testing, testing testing. Why didn’t I think about it earlier??? All I needed to do was hire four or five contractors (the ones that aced the interview) and give them a trial project to work on. The variables were all the same. They were working on the same project. Sure, I was paying four people to do one task, but the upsides of this project are unbelievable. At the end of the four-hours, I had a clear understanding of their communication skills, attention to detail, speed, and coachability. All I needed to do at this point was hire the winner for the full project. Interestingly enough, I actually ended up keeping other freelancers in mind for future projects. Applying the split testing model to real-life projects has been a game-changer in my business and I know that you will find the same!

What’s going to happen? Did they hear me wrong? Was I good enough? And the list goes on!!! All these questions used to pop in my head all day (and night) long like popcorn in the microwave. I got to the point where I was spending more time making movies in my head than actually doing work or living life. Then one day I started wondering if my overthinking habit was actually a disease and that turned out to be a slippery slope. I’d attach a bunch of labels to my compulsive string of thoughts. I have OCD. Oh no wait, I just have GAD. Or maybe It’s insomnia mixed with ADD. I am going to spare you the list of doctors and meds I tried (to no avail) and I’ll get straight to the end of this frantic race to nowhere. I meditated. Yes, I meditated a lot. I first meditated for a few hours in a row on a flight from Europe to YYZ so that I could distract myself from the fear of very very unlikely things happening to me. It worked so well that as soon as I landed I decided to start a 20-minute meditation routine every morning. I love meditating because it reminds me that I am in control of my mind, no matter what my thoughts make me think. I love meditating because it reminds me that my thoughts are just thoughts, and they are not accurate representations of the world around me. Is it easy to meditate? Not really. Actually, It’s kinda boring and frustrating at the beginning. But hey, I learned how to ride a bike when I was a kid. I scraped my knees and elbows, but if I had the resilience to get back up and try again when I was 3 years old, I am sure you can fall down and get back up with your meditation practice a few times. I have been doing it for 5 years and I rarely miss a day. In fact, now, even a 10-minute deep meditation session is enough for me to put me back on the driver’s seat. Do you meditate? And If you do, how often and for how long?
On this episode of the Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview Danny May. Danny is a global AI tech entrepreneur and industry speaker who founded Lingmo, a digital AI-Powered translation software provider with no IT or AI background. His idea to develop a real-time language translation solution, to break down the global language barrier, came about after an embarrassing situation in China when his passport was stolen and he had no way of communicating with the local people.
Write ONE word to describe your performance this week. I'll go first. It's "fire." I got so much done, and I learned a lot. But it wasn't always like this. I used to wake up pumped and then slowly give in to my bad habits. Scrolling through social media, eating carbs and fried foods, skipping my journaling sessions, not exercising, etc. Weeks would go by, and I hardly got anything done. I would ask myself, "Why is this happening?" Looking back, I knew the answer already. I wasn't taking care of the basics. You could own a race car, but if you don't inflate the tires, you don't change the oil, and you use the wrong fuel, it will not perform at its full potential. Your body and mind are the same. When you feel down and unproductive, ALWAYS go back to the basics. Once you take care of them, everything else will fall into place. You will gain clarity, focus, and your purpose will light a fire inside you!
Say "YES" if you want more clients now. So many people want clients, but most people wait on the sidelines for them. The problem is that the more you wait, the more you become irrelevant. If you want to grow your business, you need to create content and turn your company into a media machine. Pick the 4 or 5 key topics that represent your brand. Create informative, entertaining, and inspiring content around those topics. Show up every day for years. Do this, and you will become a staple in your industry. In the beginning, people will notice you and will read your content. They may not need you now, but they will have you top of mind. When you create content, you move your audience from 1) not aware, to 2) aware but not interested, to 3) interested but not ready to buy, and finally, 4) ready to buy.
What's stopping you from getting more clients? I used to run my sales calls as if I was desperate for my prospects to buy from me. And, of course, I was struggling. No one will buy from you when you sound desperate. Would you buy a car if the salesperson told you: "please, we really need more buyers!!! We haven't sold this model lately. Can you help us out?.." You'd think, "Where's the door?! I need to get out of here!" The same goes for your sales calls. You don't say those exact words, but your tone and demeanor show those feelings. It's time for you to flip the script around. First, serve a few core clients to the best of your abilities, and once you have blown their expectations out of the water, ask them for testimonials. Then, on your next discovery call with a new prospect, start by establishing credibility and showing your social proof. Make it VERY clear with your prospects that you do not work with everyone. You only take on clients who you know will have amazing results. Then book a second call. After that, run all the numbers, do the research. If the prospect is a good fit, get on the second call, explain your gameplan, and give them a time-sensitive offer. And also... Remember to sound excited, not desperate!
Why automation is the secret weapon for your business?
Freelancers!!!
When I started my journey in the early 2010s, I felt the first real sense of freedom. I was in control of my schedule, and I still had free time.
As time went on, I onboarded new clients, and my freedom shrunk, and I felt like I was in a cage.
I was working 12 hour days. I started getting anxiety, and I had no idea how to get my life back.
One day I was so fed up that I decided to map out my entire workflow to find out how I could systematize it.
To my surprise, 75% of my work consisted of the same five actions: 1) outreach for sales, 2)optimizing ads, 3)posting to social media, 4)answering emails 5) managing projects.
I was pumped. Now I needed to go online and look for the automation tools to help me get work done. So I spent the next two weeks researching the best software. The results were fantastic. I ended up automating the majority of the work. That process alone, saved me at least 4 hours a day and left me with a lot more energy and focus. Now I could tackle the tasks that required my attention.
Do you feel like you're on a hamster wheel? If you do, take the time to break the cycle!!! Find a way to clean up your to-do list and automate as much as you can. Your future self will love you for it.
How to Be More DISCIPLINED - Ways to Master Self Control Give me a "YES" if you're going to crush it this week! I know the feeling. You are about to fall asleep, and you think, "tomorrow, I am going to get so much done!!!" You get excited and can't stop thinking about being super productive. Then, when you wake up, your first thought is, "ok... I don't know if I have the energy to do everything I said. " Sounds familiar? If that's you, you are going too fast! Take a step back, and start with mastering the basics first. I'm talking about sleeping well, eating well, exercising and planning your days. Make it a point to stick to them for a few weeks, and when you are on a roll, introduce harder ones. A lot of my clients want to get straight to the top without climbing the mountain. I am sorry to break it to you, but it's not going to happen. I know you wouldn't try to bench press 200lb on your first day at the gym, so start small and work your way up with habits too. You'll build a solid foundation that will help you stay disciplined. Indistractable: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life: https://www.nirandfar.com/indistracta...

Do you want to know how procrastination ruins your life? Then this is the right video for you!
In my neighborhood in Toronto, there is a very nice mustang. It's been parked in the same underground garage spot for the past two years (or more).
When I first noticed it, it was shiny, and it looked awesome. Then a couple of weeks later, I already started noticing a light film of dust on it. As the weeks went by, the windows got dirtier and dirtier until you couldn't see the interior.
After the first year, we started noticing rust near the wheels, and the last time I saw it, it looked like a car that belonged in a scrapyard.
We are all like that car. We are ready to get on the road and do what every car is supposed to do. But some people choose to stay parked for a day or two. Then days turn into weeks, and weeks turn into months, and next thing you know, you don't even feel like you have what it takes to get out there and chase your dreams.
You turn rusty, like a parked car, and when the rust shows up, you lose even that little confidence you had in the first place.
Procrastination is a silent killer. It doesn't tell you it's taking your dreams apart until it's too late.
Set your own boundaries, and when you catch yourself delaying your goals, break that negative streak, and get back on the horse as soon as you can.
I know that getting stuff done is not easy, but seeing your goals vanish is even harder!
Wondering how to write cold emails that get you featured?
Do you need more authority in the market?
So you have a great product, but the problem is that the majority of people don't know you yet.
Aside from a couple of testimonials, you want to create some buzz around what you do, and the best way to do it is by getting your brand featured on print or online magazines.
But the thought of hiring a PR firm can be scary. You don't want to spend thousands of dollars in the hopes that you get a couple of articles talking about you.
So here's a simple step-by-step process that will help you get your brand message out there.
The first thing you need to do is finding the right press outlets in your niche. Each niche will have several blogs, magazines, and channels you can contact.
But wait a minute! Before contacting them, you need to have a list of reasons why they should write about you. The best way to do it is to come up with several stories that talk about your product (or service) in an inspiring way. Every product can have several stories covering different angles.
Now it's time to write your first cold emails to reporters and journalists, but it's not the right time to pitch yet. The first message is a way to build rapport. Talk about their past articles, show interest in their work. Tell them that you will share their work with your network (and actually do it).
Once you initiated the relationship, you can introduce your product and pitch it with the stories and the angles. If you have done this process correctly, you should have a list of reporters in your niche and a series of potential articles that talk about you and your brand.
Closing a sales deal is NOT as complicated as you think. Follow these 4 simple steps to close a sales deal!
Do you struggle with sales?
If you do, it's time to get back to the basics. There are a ton of different gurus out there that like to overcomplicate this topic because they need to create content around it, and even if you could talk about it for days on end, there are only a few points worth mentioning.
The first one is that you can't sell someone if they are not in buying mode, or if they don't need your product. That's why pre-qualifying a lead is crucial. Your goal is not to spend one hour with each of your leads, but it's too spend more time with those who are interested and have buying power.
Once you know you have a chance to close a deal, it's time to ask as many questions as possible. This is the step that a lot of rookie salespeople get wrong. They like to talk about their product too much, and that bores the prospects to death!!! Remember, people want to talk about themselves and their businesses. Ask away, and you will get all the information you need.
Once the prospect opened up, you should have enough info to put together a few sentences that will position your product as the only viable solution for them. You can do this by using features and benefits, social proof, authority, etc.
Once your client starts asking buying questions, you know that they are sold, so stop selling and start closing. This is not the time to socialize, but it's time to coach the prospect. Help them through the hard task of making a buying decision. You may have to ask for the business multiple times, but don't worry, it's all part of the process!
If you want to be more scalable you need to know how to build systems in your business.
Do you have staff in your business?
Let's be clear. You can't grow your business alone, and if you follow this page, I know that you want to make an impact!
But hiring people can be confusing, and if you don't do it the right way, you could make your entire business collapse.
Here are a few rules you can start following today that will help you. Before hiring someone, you need to know precisely what that person is supposed to do. You can't set an employee up without giving them proper instructions, a list of tasks, and a clear set of expectations.
You can come up with all the right information by writing down everything that your business needs to operate, from emailing clients to paying bills and everything in between.
As you list all the actions, make sure to ask yourself, "If I didn't know anything about this topic, what instructions would I need?"
This question will help you with creating all the training and collaterals you need to run your new system smoothly.
Always remember to create these systems as if you were managing 100 people. That way, you will push yourself to standardize as many processes as possible!
Type "YES" if you are over with being lazy!!! I bet that you have a ton of different things that make you happy and make you feel good, but you probably rely only on a handful of them because they are the easiest ones to do. For example, you know that going for a 5k run gives you energy and boosts your confidence, but laying on the couch and eating ice cream gives you a similar sense of wellbeing in the short-term. The good news is that you can rewire your brain to crave long-term gain over short-term gratification. The first step is to stop doing anything that 'makes you feel good' for a set period of time before doing anything else. This is not an easy step, but it's essential so that you can flush out all the dopamine and its effects it has had on your brain. Dopamine gets released every time you are about to "get what you want," so think about how many times you've eaten junk food or did something you regretted, just for the sake of getting that dopamine rush. The second step is to replace your old habits with the ones that you want to start. As you practice these new actions, focus on the effects that they're having on your body and mind. You will notice a sense of euphoria, happiness, bliss, or other types of high energy feelings. This type of wellbeing is much better than the one caused by instant gratification because it doesn't come with any sort of guilt attached to it. Once you started your new productive lifestyle, you can reintroduce some of your old "vices," but now you should be stronger and more in control of your habits. But if you ever feel like you are "relapsing," cut all your instant gratification habits at once. That way, you make sure to reset your brain and then you can start the process again!
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview a TikTok legend - Jesus Corona AKA boxedup entrepreneur.
Don't overcomplicate productivity... The simple truth is that a cluttered mind will get distracted. So for you to become productive (and stay productive), you need to slow down and stick to the basics. Have you ever had a fantastic week and told yourself, "I cracked the code of productivity!!" only to fall back into the worst procrastination spiral the following week? How is that possible?! After all, you had the solution to the problem a few days earlier. The reason why that happens is that you "tripped." Let me explain what I mean. One day you wake up, and you have an amazing morning routine. You feel good about the day, and you keep on doing everything that you had set out to do. At the end of the day, you are very excited, so you stick to your calendar, and the streak continues for a few days (or even a couple of weeks!!!) Then one day, out of nowhere, something distracts you from your newfound winning routine. You are frustrated, and you get overwhelmed. That night you go to bed later and the day after you wake up late. Now you are annoyed, tired, and distracted, and the next thing you know, you are back to square one. Does that sound familiar? I thought so... Here's the thing. If you don't plan on how to tackle those bad days beforehand, you will never get over them. Come up with a recovery sequence that you can rely on when your days go south, so as soon as you see a bad day coming, you can go in recovery mode and get back on the horse as quickly as possible.
Is social media dead? Well... It's not really. But it's definitely much harder to compete in the social media world now than it used to be back in the day. There is so much content online, and that means that you really need to master one platform and go all-in with it. Long gone are the days where you could post a photo, add a couple of hashtags, and get hundreds (if not thousands) of likes. The goal of social media (for business) it's not to grow your vanity metrics, but it's to create a group of engaged people that are serious about reading and sharing your content. Start your posting habit to provide lots of value to your followers. Aim at getting engagement over followers because engaged followers will soon turn into raving fans and clients.
Why do you want your business to fail? You're going to say to me, "No! I want to succeed." But if you're still not mastering your sales skills, you will soon have to close your doors. Here's a simple 4 step process you can start with. First off, come up with a series of probing questions to understand the real problems and needs of your prospect. Some of these questions may be a bit uncomfortable but guess what... no one said it was going to be easy. When you have a clear picture of what the problem is and what's going to happen if your prospect doesn't solve it, it's time to find the right angle to show your solution. Every prospect will need a different explanation of why your solution is a perfect match for them. You don't expect to open all doors with the same key, so don't expect to sell everyone with the same pitch. Once they understand your solution, show them how the solution will make the entire situation better. Don't be afraid to talk about feelings and emotions, as that's exactly what people use to make decisions.
Why do you want to do everything yourself?
One of the things I find myself repeating most often to my coaching clients is the fact that they don't need to do everything themselves.
Why is it so hard to remember??? Well... I know why. It's because most of us still believe that being busy = being productive.
I can't stress this enough. If you spent 10 hours working on a spreadsheet when you could have delegated that task to a VA, you are the opposite of productive!!!
Some people will tell me, "Deniero, I have no money to hire a VA."
My answer to that point is, "you can always make more money, but you can't get your time back."
If you really can't afford a couple of hundred dollars a month to hire a part-time VA at this moment, at least start with mastering all the automation software that's out there!
Most tools out there have entry-level free plans, and they will save you hours every week!
These will really change your life in 3 months. There are a ton of different habits you can start, but if you start with these, everything else will fall into place. Before I started journaling, I was on autopilot, but I didn't have a clear direction. I was just reacting to what was happening to me. When I picked up the pen for the first time, I started writing about my goals and aspirations, but also about the things that were slowing me down (small addictions and other bad habits). Within a few months, I was able to organize my thoughts and aspirations. I decided to relocate to Europe and start a new life there with my wife (and we made it happen!) Planning your weeks and days is a natural extension of journaling because you kinda have to take your big picture goals and plans and break them down into bite-sized actions you can complete. Then networking is a game-changing activity that most people forget about because we tend to think that we can do everything on our own. The reality is that the more you bounce ideas off like-minded people, the more you will see yourself as a successful person. Your plans will be clear, and you will feel more confident. Also, all millionaires know the importance of protecting their time. Every time they can automate or delegate something, they will do it. That means that every time you do something more than once, you should be at least asking yourself: "can anything else or anyone else do this instead.
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview Michael Chabala. Michael is a former Major League Soccer Player. He’s played with teams like Portland Timbers, D.C. United and Houston Dynamo. After his MLS career, he became an entrepreneur and he founded Sphere, which is a soccer-inspired fitness club.
News flash: reporters are people too...⠀ ⠀ I know it seems obvious, but a ton of people have no idea how to get press coverage for their business.⠀ ⠀ If that is you... think about a few different ways you can "repackage" your business with an inspiring story that readers would like.⠀ ⠀ Once you have that covered, it's time to do some research and find out who's writing awesome content in your niche.⠀ ⠀ If you're in business, you may be looking at Forbes, Adweek, Business Insider, Entrepreneur, etc. If you are in other niches, do your research and single out a series of publications.⠀ ⠀ Now it's time to build relationships... Yes!!! Stop being "comfortable" and get out of your bubble!!! Talk to people, comment on their articles, add value in any way you can...⠀ ⠀ This is going to help you when you are ready to pitch your story!!!⠀ ⠀ That's it!!! Don't overthink it!
I sounded like a robot...⠀ ⠀ Yes, I had a script I had to read from, but still. I really wonder why some people never hung up the phone on me.⠀ ⠀ I was in inside sales, cold calling about 75 people a day. It was a stressful job, but if I only knew what I know now, I would have made money a lot faster.⠀ ⠀ Sales is about finding your voice. That excited voice that can't wait to help the prospect. When you find it, you'll sound like your product is the only solution to your client's problems.⠀ You gotta practice a lot, though... This is not something that happens overnight. You have to make a ton of mistakes and yes... Sometimes you will sound stupid... but that happens every time that you try to master a new craft... Can you imagine if a surfer didn't want to fall during practice???⠀ ⠀ Roleplay every single day with your team (or join our role playgroup on Facebook). Have an open mind and be open to constructive feedback.⠀ Once you get good, sales will actually be fun!
Do you respect your time?
If you do, you'd realize how much time you're likely wasting on menial tasks that can be easily executed by software.⠀ ⠀
A study showed that 72% of workers (it includes business owners) feel like they work too much. But one of the first things I do with my clients when we start our coaching program is to automate all the repetitive and dull tasks.⠀ ⠀
One of my clients was spending about 50 minutes a day cleaning their email inbox, 30 minutes posting on social media, and just as much copying and pasting data from emails to spreadsheets.⠀ ⠀
After a week of implementing the automation, we were able to shave off over almost two full hours off his workday. That's 9 hours a week!!!⠀ ⠀
When you feel overwhelmed, take a step back and ask yourself, can anyone else or anything else do this job for me?⠀ ⠀
This simple question can save you time and stress!
A few years ago, I was future blind. I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. Then I came across a few books that changed my life, and I was able to visualize almost everything that I wanted. Sure enough, within months, I started experiencing some of the things I had planned for myself.⠀ ⠀
Can you imagine yourself in a few years? How do you look like? Where do you live? What do you do? Who's beside you?⠀ ⠀
The more detailed your visualizations are, the more your mind will shift to accommodate the new version of yourself. I know it sounds crazy... but if you think about it, everything that humankind has created came from a thought first.⠀ ⠀
Don't underestimate the power of visualization. Even if you don't believe in it now, why don't you just give it a try for a couple of months?⠀ ⠀
You have nothing to lose and the life of your dreams to gain...
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview Susan Hamilton Meier. Susan is a brand strategist and visual artist and the founder of Susan Meier Studio. Susan has designed a set of processes and tools that get teams to problem-solve more creatively. Today we’ll be talking about creativity, how to unlock creativity, how to use it to thrive in the business world.
Why do I get twice as much done when I finish work at 2 pm instead of 8 pm?⠀ I asked myself this question a lot, and the reason is simple.⠀ ⠀ When I am done work at 2, it means that I wake up much earlier than usual, and I can work on the hardest tasks when my mental focus is at its peak.⠀ ⠀ The funny thing is that the night before waking up early, I spend time planning my day and cleaning my workstation.⠀ ⠀ All these things seem to be so insignificant, but they are the basis for your best work.⠀ My clients hate me when I "force them" to wake up before 5 am, but after a few days, they come back, and they thank me for giving them that push.⠀ ⠀ The hard question to answer is: "Would you rather wake up at five am and work 6 hours a day, or wake up at seven and work 10 hours a day?"
You can't build a reputation with only paid ads
I love digital ads, but...⠀ ⠀
If your goal is to create a lasting brand, you can't just rely on Google Ads or Facebook Ads.⠀ ⠀
Or better... you could, but it would cost you millions of dollars, and your small business probably can't afford that.⠀
When you are starting, you need to get your brand name out there with content creation.⠀ ⠀
And I am not only talking about a blog post a week. I am talking about an omnichannel approach. Use video, images, audio, text, and anything in between.⠀
Give your audience the ability to consume your content in any way they want to.⠀
If you do that regularly, you will turn into a point of reference in your niche.⠀ At that point, every single penny that you spend on paid advertising will give you a much higher ROI.⠀ ⠀
That's because ads will simply act as a megaphone for the voice that was already there.
Actually, enough with the tips ;)⠀ ⠀
I have been coaching salespeople and business owners for a bit now, and I can tell when someone is using "learning" as an excuse for not doing their job.⠀ ⠀
If you think you are part of that group, here's what you can do: turn your job into a fun game and PLAY IT.⠀ ⠀
A sales job is one of a few careers that you can genuinely gamefy! You get to talk to people all day, and the way you think, sound, and move can influence the outcome of your conversation.⠀ ⠀
One of my clients worked in computer sales and was frustrated because people didn't understand his technical talk.⠀ ⠀
I helped him rephrase his pitch to make it more "human" and told him to practice with his colleagues. We also agreed to believe that every "no" he was going to get was more fuel in his "sales tank." More fuel meant more trial closes and more follow-ups.⠀ ⠀
That's all it took!!! A couple of tweaks to how he saw his job and his sales soared by 250%.⠀
Don't overcomplicate your life!!!
I still can't stand offices!!!⠀ ⠀ Maybe it's just me, but I can't even think about driving (or commuting) for hours every day so that I can sit in room and work.⠀ ⠀ When I started my business, and I started hiring staff members, I knew I only wanted remote workers.⠀ ⠀ There's a ton of reasons why I wanted it to be that way. But one of them is the fact that I get to choose my talent from 5 continents!!!⠀ ⠀ While my competitors are trying to figure out how to find the best salesperson in their city, I am wondering how I can attract world-class players.⠀
Sure, I don't get to walk into my employee's cubical to see if they're "doing their job," but there are a ton of tools I use to keep my staff engaged, accountable, and productive.
I thought I had a learning disability.⠀ ⠀ When I was 24, I couldn't even read a book for more than 2 minutes. I used to look at my friends and wonder how they were able to keep good jobs or even buy a car.⠀ It felt awful because I wanted to do much more, but my mind couldn't.⠀ ⠀ Then one day, I learned about the concept of growth mindset, and it all made sense. I never had the chance to get good at something. I always gave up before I could get better.⠀ That's when I started reading and writing every day. It was so hard!!! But I didn't care because I was not doing it to succeed in that exact moment. I was doing it for my future self.⠀ ⠀ The crazy thing about a growth mindset is that you can't prove it exists until you are deep in it. So you just gotta trust the process at the beginning. It's kinda like going to the gym for the first time. ⠀ ⠀ If you can stick to your new mindset for a few months, you will fall in love with it.⠀ Life is a very long game, so you might as well play it and get good at it.
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview John Vuong. He is the owner and founder of Local SEO Search. He helps small and medium-sized businesses rank on Google and dominate their local market. John puts a strong emphasis on relationships and treats his client’s like family, wanting to not only help them rank but to help their business grow and succeed.
You don't deserve to be successful.⠀ ⠀
Nobody does really. We just have to work for it every single day. And if we stop trying, we just fall back into our previous situation.⠀ ⠀
When I got started, I used to try squeezing as many things in my calendar as possible. I got stuff done for the first week, but after a few days, I'd be burned out and didn't do almost anything for weeks in a row.⠀ ⠀
Something needed to change; I finally decided to spread my to-do list across all seven days of the week. I felt overwhelmed at first because I didn't have an "off day," but I realized right away that my schedule was a lot more manageable.
Are you popular in your niche?⠀ ⠀ If you are already, you know what it means to be one step ahead of the competition. You can charge more, and still be the go-to brand in your market.⠀ ⠀
But if you have never had that chance to be in that spot, you definitely can make it happen by getting good PR.⠀ ⠀ Everyone likes to read a good story, and if you can be part of that story, you could build a name for yourself almost overnight.⠀ ⠀ I am not saying that it's an easy process. But if you are in it to build a lasting brand, this is the price you have to pay to become the go-to brand in your space.
Would you punch yourself in the face every morning when you wake up?⠀ ⠀ Well... I hope not!!! So why do you talk yourself down all the time?...⠀ ⠀ The way you think and talk to yourself is just as powerful as physical abuse.⠀ ⠀ I want you to be your biggest cheerleader. If you can do that, you will be set for life.⠀ ⠀ I know... It's not easy... but you can get started by doing some simple exercises like the ones I wrote in this post.⠀ ⠀ I used to be so bad... I literally thought that I was destined to be mediocre and that my brain was broken (I couldn't focus, read well, etc.)⠀ ⠀ Practice these tips for a few weeks, and you will see a fantastic change in the way you think about yourself and your business.⠀ ⠀ That's just the beginning of an amazing journey toward reinventing yourself.
Would you like to lose a $50 bill every day?
I don't think so, but why are you wasting hours every day doing things you could automate?
From creating videos to posting on social media, there's always a better way to do it.⠀ ⠀
My client Rees was spending the whole weekend working on his company's social media. He had zero time to spend with his family on Sunday.⠀ ⠀
Then we introduced the Remote CEO framework to his business, and in 8 weeks, his business presence grew, and he only spends two hours between 7 and 9 am on Sunday.⠀ ⠀
The rest of the day is for him to enjoy if you want to find out how I helped Rees and how I can help you double your business' income in 90 days and save you time.
You are different.⠀ ⠀ I am different. We are all different. So why is everyone going for the same exact lifestyle?⠀ ⠀ The 9-to-5 rate race or the travel junkie lifestyle are just two ways of living your life.⠀ When I got started, all I could think of was traveling. Then I realized that I actually didn't like it that much. I just wanted to have the freedom to own my schedule. But I wanted to have a place to call home and spend time there.⠀ ⠀ See? You don't have to adopt someone else's dreams. Spend time coming up with your own and become a master at it!⠀ ⠀ It's not going to happen overnight, but the sooner you'll start, the faster you will be living your dream!
In this episode of The Remote CEO Show, I had the pleasure to interview Adam Totounji, podcaster, founder, entrepreneur. Adam is the host of the Mogul Insider podcast. Adam is a specialist in branding, influencer marketing, content creation, digital content strategy, and paid media.
Do you like being stuck in one office for 60% of your waking hours?
Well.. if you do, good for you! But if you don't, there is another way!!! ⠀ You just need to work a bit harder at the beginning to set everything up. But when you are done, you will love your new lifestyle.⠀
I was just like many others a few years ago. I first worked at a corporate job that sucked my soul away.⠀
Then I started working as a freelancer and could only sleep 5 hours a night because I was a slave of my own business.⠀
That stress took me to the hospital, where they gave me strong anti-anxiety meds. Was that the life I wanted to live??? No!!!⠀
Finally, I decided to build my personal brand and interview some of the greatest American entrepreneurs and best selling authors.⠀
Then I invested in coaching and mentoring, and in a matter of a year, I was able to build a fantastic remote agency, 10x my income, and work a lot less.⠀
And the crazy thing is that I have tons of success stories that I helped achieve the same goal!⠀
Be bold! Don't settle for anything less than you want and keep on reaching for your dreams. You're closer than you think
If you worked hard, but no one noticed, did it really happen?⠀ ⠀ Of course, it did happen. But when it comes to branding, it kinda didn't.⠀ ⠀ If you are starting out, and you have a fantastic product, but no one knows about it, you should be freaking out!⠀ ⠀ Start researching reporters in your field and read their articles. Get their attention. ⠀ ⠀ Think about ways to make your business' story interesting. You can also do that by linking people up and organizing events.⠀ ⠀ Here's the thing. You need attention, and no one is going to help you get attention if you don't put yourself out there. ⠀ ⠀ PR is like the megaphone you need to reach more people. You can only shout so loud on your own.⠀ ⠀ Do your future self a favor and set aside a few hours a week to get your name out there
I read hundreds of business books and listened to thousands of podcasts, and I arrived at one conclusion. Scaling a business is about creating a system and hiring people to run that system effectively.⠀ ⠀ Stop thinking you have to do everything on your own. You wouldn't build a house on your own, right? So why would you try to do that with your business?⠀ ⠀ I wasted six years of my life trying to be a superhero to my agency, and it got me nowhere. ⠀ ⠀ Then I decided to learn how to delegate and manage effectively and... boom! My business grew by 600% in 12 months.⠀ ⠀ When you are scaling, It's not about what you know... it's about who you know that can help you scale...⠀ ⠀ Interview lots of people, hire the good ones, manage them correctly, and you'll be set for the rest of your life.
Sales is a science and an art at the same time. You gotta know the rules, but you also have to be good enough to weave your rebuttals at the right time.⠀ ⠀ I used to be so bad at it when I was in corporate sales because I was uninspired. But then my mentor told me that sales is a transfer of emotions, and if I was not in the right mindset, I was just transferring crappy emotions to the prospect.⠀ ⠀ Sell yourself on your product, follow the process, and stick to it even when it's hard, and you will blow up your pipeline.⠀ ⠀ The first week I started selling with my new mindset. I ran six demos and closed four deals!!! Luck? Maybe some people call it that, but the call recordings were clear... I sounded like my product was the only solution for my clients... and they felt that way too.
