A theater podcast by Gabrielle McCarren and Bella Negrete investigating the myriad of ways professionals in the industry are keeping up their abilities and working through the pain of being in isolation in a time where theater artists are unable to use live performance and keep consistent work during a pandemic. Our goal is to inspire hope for artists and offer up a platform to share work and creativity.

EVERYBODY SAYS DON'T: Season 2, Episode 3 - "Balancing Your Career & on a Ball in Pointe Shoes," featuring Natalia Lepore Hagan, an incredibly talented singer, dancer, and actress who has worked professionally in regional productions, on National Tours and off Broadway as well as on screen. She is originally from Youngstown, Ohio and has been classically trained in ballet since the age of four.  She moved to New York at 21 where she began taking classes at Steps and was signed to an agency. Her roles include Anytime Annie in 42nd Street, Velma Kelly and Annie in Chicago (in separate productions), Louise in Gypsy, Miss Flannery in Thoroughly Modorn Millie, a dancer on Boardwalk Empire and a showgirl, or as she would pronounce it, a "showghoul," in Love Never Dies.  In 2017 she came together with a ton of incredible people from every aspect of the arts world to record a single and video of a Beatles classic. “Artists for the Arts: With a Little Help from My Friends” sent all its proceeds to Americans For the Arts and their efforts to protect the National Endowment for the Arts.

EVERYBODY SAYS DON'T: Season 2, Episode 2 - "All We Have Is the Work"
featuring Nicole Van Giesen, an incredible Broadway performer most recently in Dear Evan Hansen as an Understudy for Hiedi Hansen and Cynthia Murphy and Fun Home as the original understudies for Alison and Helen. She is an active mom, and piano teacher who has lived in both New Jersey and New York during her various performances on the Great White Way. She also originally understudied Queenie in the 2000 Broadway production of the Wild Party and she made her Broadway debut in the 1998 tony award winning production of cabaret as a replacement for Frenchie.

EVERYBODY SAYS DON'T: Season 2, Episode 1 - "All We Have Is the Work"
featuring Daryl Stewart, an award winning theater creator and artist. Stewart's work as an actor includes memorable roles in Five Guys Named Moe, Ragtime, Little Shop of Horrors, The Wild Party, Into The Woods & Disney's Aida.  Right before the world and theater district closed down he was nominated by Broadway World Award for Best Cabaret (2021)  an original one man show called "Fully Versatile".  His new children's musical series AN INCOMPLETE HISTORY OF BROADWAY will be released this spring.  He  currently resides and works in New Jersey. Working at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, New Jersey.
