The Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors are role models for other 4-H'ers and they serve as positive representatives of the Minnesota 4-H program. In this podcast they will explore 4-H through interviews with other 4-H members, 4-H staff and alumni. They will also delve into different project areas and talk about State and National 4-H opportunities.

On this episode State Ambassador Megan chats with her fellow leadership team members Nalani and Jess about what is was like being a part of the State Ambassador Leadership Team (SALT). The SALT members of the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors are youth who are serving a second term as an ambassador to help guide the new members of the team through their State Ambassador experience.
State Ambassadors Victoria and Rachel along with Joe Rand, Extension educator & Director of Diversity Equity Inclusion and Accessibility, Dianna Kennedy, Extension educator share how they developed a youth-led program called "Let’s talk about Gender Identity” for youth to learn how to be better allies. Although the program was delivered to 4-H members online, ways to implement the program in other youth settings and in-person are discussed.
This podcast explores the journey to leadership through the youth perspective as we hear stories from two MN 4-H State Ambassadors. They also discuss the important role adults played in helping them discover and develop leadership skills.
Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador Hope interviews the 2021 Dan Patch award winner and first and second runners-up Kassidy, Paige and Caleb.
