When people think of the Mediterranean, they usually picture cities like Barcelona, Rome or Athens but the people who have visited northern africa in the past are definitely aware that the sunniest city of the Mediterranean Sea isn't in Europe. In fact, it lies on the northernmost point of Africa. Algiers, also known as ''La Blanche'' is named as such due to its many white colored, Ottoman-inspired buildings. This city is a must for any foodie or any adventurous traveler. Without any further ado, let's go on an adventure!
