We live in a world stuck in fast forward, obsessed with speed and cramming more and more into less and less. In a world trying to make things better, what that often means is us making things faster. Hurry up!!!
Our world continues to move at an incredible pace. Change never seems to end. There’s something new we must learn or respond to. Life seems to get more complex and maybe even chaotic. And as a result people are more stressed, anxious and hurried than ever.
Dallas Willard once called hurry, “the great enemy of spiritual life in our day.” In this series we’ll use Psalm 23 to explore “the non-anxious presence” we’re offered in Jesus and how it creates an approach to life that counteracts the exhausting nature of life today.
One of the greatest gifts that God has given humanity is the opportunity to be connected with a faith community. The mission of the church is to allow the Good News of Jesus Christ to restore not only our union and relationship with our Heavenly Father but also our communion and service to others. We invite you to come on this journey with us and discover the heart of Abundant Life Church as we seek to inspire each other to follow Jesus, love one another, and give ourselves for our neighbor.

The relationships in your life are not incidental or accidental. God has intentionally placed people in your life and placed you in the lives of others. Join us in the month of February as we look at what it means to reflect and see the love of Jesus in various relationship spheres. Through weekend teaching and mid-week seminars, we will explore what it looks like to encounter Jesus as we live life in a relationship with our spouses, family, friends, and enemies.

2020 has proven to be one of the most challenging years that any of us have ever experienced. Now more than ever the world desperately needs to hear the good news that came through the birth of Jesus Christ. As we enter into this season of advent, our prayer is that we would let every heart prepare to celebrate the gifts of hope, joy, peace, and love that the Christmas story brings.

The Kingdom of God was the main message of Jesus Christ. He spoke about it, taught about it, and gave more instructions concerning it than any other subject. And yet sadly, many Christians struggle to understand what the Kingdom of God is really all about and the impact it should have on our everyday life.

Our Happy Valley Campus Pastor, Aaron Walton, shared an encouraging message on prayer this week.
This week we had a special online service focused on prayer and worship. Members of our church body along with some of our staff each prayed for specific topics in regards to our church, community, nation and world. We also spent some extra time in worship and praising God.
