A six-week series that looks back at Arlington’s history, bringing our Downtown stories to life virtually for both our regular followers and for a young constituency learning at home.
Scheduled for each Thursday at 4pm beginning April 23rd, this one-hour podcast will include host Maggie Campbell, the President and CEO for Downtown Arlington, along with her weekly guests. Each week will look at a different aspect of Arlington’s unique history, while showcasing our current assets and faces of downtown. We invite the listening audience to come together to helping us strengthen our community bonds by sharing our stories and history. This six-week podcast series will feature a different aspect of our history each week.
Around Downtown Arlington and the Dallas Fort Worth area, Mission Arlington and other organizations have been supporting our community with food, funding, and services.
Today we’re joined by Tillie and Jim Burgin of Mission Arlington, Carolyn Mentesana of the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation, and Kirk Franklin, Grammy award winning musician and host of Camp Lotus in Downtown Arlington.
